You're definitely resting in God's peace and love Dr. Desmond Ford, you're considered a hero in most people's eyes. Even though SDA disagreed with you in the idea of 'Investigative Judgment' still you defend and respect SDA till the day you died. GOD BLESS YOUR HEART!

Sadly to say that Dr. Ford was wrong . His own book on Daniel (R&H 1978), lays out the correct teachings that he later denied. There is a sanctuary in heaven, the dates of the 2300 year prophecy, of Daniel 8:14, are correct 457B.C - 1844 A.D, Jesus is our high priest in heaven , and the SDA church is God's Remnant church who were called into existence to preach the 1-2-3 Angels Messages.
He was a true Gentleman, honest, polite, compassionate & very friendly. I cherish my short time lunching with him & consider it a rare privilege to have briefly known him. Sharpest minded man I have met.

A sabbatarian til death. Unable to embrace the biblical truth of hell until he died. His son Luke described Ford as distant and an absentee father.
Des continued to believe and teach a pre-advent Judgment. And yes rightly understood It can be a beautiful doctrine. we agree. for reparations comes through judgment for those who have been wronged. judgment should not be feared but looked forward to. for rejoicing will be the outcome. appreciate your comments..
yes what I recently learned from Gill Ford that the book was finished in 1979 before he was called to defend his views at Glacier View. it was not published for 3 years however and what he wrote beforehand seemed to have occurred shortly after it was written. I got a copy right after it was published at the Andrews book store. I was at Seminary in the Fall Quarter of 1982. so my thoughts were that it was written after GV. It really foretold some of what he was about to go through.having been written and finished in 1979 before the fallout of GV. He expected to be fired over the book but his firing occurred before it was published.

I’m SDA. I am a believer of the IJ, it’s a beautiful doctrine. But Dr Ford seems like a wonderful Christian
