Located in one of the Piazza's of Atessa, is this historic apartment full of character.
The vaulted ceilings are very high. In the large double bedroom there is a historic fresco painting!
The is a hallway on entering the property leading to the large lounge with an open fireplace and character vaults in the ceiling. There is a kitchen with utility room and access to a very small outside terraced space.
There are 2 double bedrooms, one with balcony views of the Piazza and a bathroom.
The condominium is very low, only 15 Euros per month on average. There are 4 apartments in this block and the condominium covers the cleaning of the staircase and communal space.
Atessa is in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo, south-eastern Italy. It is 435 m above sea level.
Atessa Town is 20 km from the Adriatic coast and sandy beaches.
The population of Atessa has over 10,000 inhabitants, so there are plenty of services, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants available.
The city preserves the historical center in 17th-century, late Renaissance style, with few remains of the ancient medieval walls.
Atessa boasts a great historical and artistic heritage. Its fame is linked to the legend about a dragon killed by San Leucio di Alessandria, the patron saint of the city, whose rib is preserved in the Cathedral of San Leucio, in a predominant position in the village.
The town hosts the Sassu Museum, a beautiful art gallery dedicated to the painter Aligi Sassu, at the Palazzo Ferri in Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

That ceiling is gorgeous! Although frescoes on the ceiling are always interesting to look at, this was one of the first that I thought I wouldn't mind having in my own house. Beautiful but not too fussy, great colors.
A ceiling like that is definitely high on my list of must haves for an Italian property with a low maintenance yard.
I really enjoy watching your videos. You do a great job showing the homes. This one is amazing.
Thank you so much for your comment and taking the time to watch the content, glad that is entertaining!!

Love the frescos and the fireplace. Nice location as well.
Great Property Rino!
Lots of charm, very nice!
Very nice, incredible fresco !
So cool!
Yowsa! What a beautiful fresco on the ceiling of that large room! Would love to make that a music room. The large, open entrance hallways of the older buildings are so very welcoming. Love the vaulted ceilings in this property, too. What a wonderful place, and incredible value! Thank you as always, Rino!
Beautiful
Again a great video!
Thank you!!!
Wow that is a pretty nice house since it was built way back in the seventeenth hundreds!! Wow very good ! Thanks Rino😃✌️
This place is perfect! I love it.
The beautiful wrought iron staircase. Is that a separate apartment. Possibly for sale in the future.
Very beautiful property, I ❤ it.
Love this place! My only concern would be night noise from the bar below the bedroom, although I think I could risk it 😊
Grazie
I wouldnt have the bedroom in the fresco's room. Which is above the bar.
I love the open common court yard to enteances.
The entrance to the apartment. Is thst a separate ap
Nice one, Rino---grazie! Love the floors, though I wasn't sure exactly what the flooring in the lounge and kitchen were: older brick-like, or terracotta tiles? or newer ceramic tiles? (I really appreciate clear views and descriptions of floors throughout). One potential issue: Are both the bedrooms going to be filled with the sound of the bar opening early in the mornings? Thanks!
Needs a lot of cosmetic work and a brand new bathroom. But it’s a great space
Rino, I can’t really tell from the tour, but is there a space there with plumbing close by that might be able to be made into a 2nd bathroom?
Were do the elderly people live in Italie? So many stairs on the streets and the houses.
Price??
So did you leave majellacasa?
