I live in Gessopalena and know this property, it is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The views are stunning and Gessopalena is a lovely place to live.
What a fantastic value, Rino! Agree completely. Property both inside and outside super well-maintained. Beautiful views, in a lovely, lovely place. Thanks for taking the long drive to show us!
I also love it. Even the lights in the garden were a nice touch. All the fireplaces (a personal favorite of mine) available. Both homes are extremely well maintained. Also Congrats Rino in surpassing 7k subscribers.
I notice that Italian houses often have several fire places and a lot of stored wood. Do you use the fires to heat the house. How do the radiators work? Will they heat the home alone ?It's a very nice house, I liked it for several reasons. It could use a freshen up into this century, but that mostly cosmetic.
Hi Wayne! Thanks for the comment, it has multiple reasons, sometimes it's connected to the mail boiler and the fireplace might be used to support the heating system, those are called termocamino. Other times it's simply tradition and cosmetic, in the past many families would sat together in the same room around the fireplace, I guess it stuck in our heritage. Lastly, someone use it also to cook meat and chestnuts ;)
Great property at a great price! Can you rent out one of the homes and live in the other or are there restrictions in the area regarding short or long term rentals? Thank you for sharing.
I notice in these houses in Italy that people have fireplaces often more than one., and often a lot of stored wood. do you actually heat the home with a wood fire? How do those radiators work ? do you have to use both to keep those homes warm? Good house, by the way. I liked it
Hi Italians do the same thing with their fireplaces as we do in the US or the UK. They just always seem to have more wood stored up than we do 👍. Usually they have radiators that are heated with gas or diesel, but sometimes the radiators can also be used by heating wood in the fireplace. So sometimes you have your choice of how you want to use your radiators. But mostly they just like to light fires and have a fire just like we do 😃
The two houses are in price yes = 169000 . Is there any well to water the garden or borehole lastly is the furniture included in the price can u show us the borders of the property Thank you Anthony Very nice property
Is there any Italian living in Abruzzo? And why are SO MANY houses up for sale? 1) is it because foreigners invading the place, making life for locals hell? Or 2) is the area considered a danger zone after the earthquake? Whatever the reason, I want to move to Italy because of Italians, not Americans and Brits!

Hi Anna! Sure this is absolutely possible, no restrictions. Also, you can have up to 4 different properties without opening a company tax number
