Thanks for visiting my country. I am at this moment in Langebaan. My husband and I are house sitting my sisters dogs. They are swallows and move to UK for 5 months. Be safe and enjoy what you see doing
That’s it ! The adventure continues and next destination the beautiful country of Namibia! Sure you will have lovely adventures over there. Loved everything you did in SA! Keep it going guys, thanks for sharing your adventures ! ❤
Hi Leigh and Stef. Finally we can see Langebaan and ourselfs through your eyes 😂. Was amazing to share our way of living with you 2. Safe travels. Jacques. Gustav's friend.
You two are so in touch with what life should really be all about. Best of luck with future travels and adventure's. Cant wait for whats install for those of us lucky enough to follow you in the future.
The old Mercedes is still better quality than our Defenders and most of the modern cars. Great to see it. Great episode again. Very personal with your friends. Lovely to see that.
Goodbye from RSA and a very HELLO from Namibia, one of Africa's best for sights and travelling. Crossed that same border with my son early December 2023 - we did a trip into the Namib. You will enjoy Namibia immensely depending on the time you are going to spend there !!! Enjoy and my best.
so nice, one more time, thanks a lot for this journey ! so nice to visit with both of you. take care and keep going.
Wow, you visited our town, Langebaan! Would have loved to say hi, but I'm just glad you had a good time.. Know some of the people in the photo. Enjoy your trip. Love your channel.
Namibia is an amazing country, looking forward to some amazing videos. I hope you are both well and Leigh has recovered from his stomach upset. Enjoy Namibia...
we have done the west coast 1 year ago. And Langebang was a great stop. Enjoy the trip upcoming. We loved it to go from Capetown to Caprivi and Big Falls and back via Botswana . Enjoy the trip - for us, this was the best ever. Bernd from Germany
I trust that that "Grizzly" & Bear are feeling great after all their maintenance work, and that they are happy to be on the road again. All those kite surfers was incredible.
Oh my word! My dad had the exact same car - which he inherited from his father-in-law. Damn, man, and he use to open and close the door just like that and say "just hear this door close!"
My family also had one similar when I growing up. Compared to closing a, Defender door it's a dream to close that Mercedes door 😂 I'm sure the door seals are still good as well 😜
So many years that I followed your adventures and this is the first time I see some Kitesurf on your channel ! So cool, and yes, you are right Stephy, the sensations when you begin are amazing. Now that you are in Nanibia, we can suppose the plan will be to come back in France by the west part of Africa ? Take care of you both, and merci beaucoup pour les belles images ! Bises les loulous
Not back to Europe just yet we still need to explore the East Coast of Africa. We don't really follow any route. We've actually already been to Angola and now back to Namibia 😉
Thanks to share your adventure. What do you think about the crises that are occurring in some parts of the world? Such as in Palestine, Ukraine, in particular Congo. I asked this question for you who travel a lot across countries and must have a political position about.
I use to live in that area, and as a matter of interest the Orange River is one of the few rivers that flow from Ocean inland, just small trivia for you guys 😂😂😂
Bertplank, why are your comments so negative? Why do you watch this channel ? Rockspiders ? Kry n lewe, dit is verniet, if you can understand the taal, poes...!!!
Wow, that year just flew by. Looking forward to this new adventure Leigh, that's what happens when you leave your panties in a bar, you catch a chill 🤣🤣
There is nothing better than good friends and good food. I'm sure it wasn't their food that did it to you. Living in the States, im still trying to wrap my head around needing a passport to go right next door. 🤔Shame about the taxes🤨. I can't wait to see what you guys get up to there. Have fun! Cheers!🎉
I honestly can’t believe it’s one year that you were in South Africa. That has gone so quick for me, so it must have flown by for you guys. Paternoster and Langebaan are such lovely places and I will be back there at the start of next year. You have some wonderful and generous friends. Enjoy Namibia and safe travels 👍 😊
I’d hazard a guess that most of the parts on that defender were not made in England. It’s been fun watching it’s evolution. When the Land Rovers used to roll off British production lines they were very accurate and well made, most of the myth comes from what was done to them after, by back yard mechanics.
@@garyetheridge7497 Don't get me wrong, I love Land Rovers. Learnt to drive in a knackered old Series 3. Probably back in the days of Series 2s they were accurate and well made, but I think quality gradually dropped from then on. I've never heard anyone say that a British built Land Rover was accurate and well made before, especially for later models.
@AJB1 Agree, like all good quality things, eventually the companies try to save money and cut corners. I was impressed with the work done on their Landy in SA, the body work and metal smithing was brilliant. I’ve spent the best pet of five years restoring a Series IIA that was driven from Washington State down to Cape Horn Argentina. Some of the old parts are still in great condition and also made to be restored. We could learn a lot from that mentality in a consumption minded world of today.
Thank you for enjoying our beautiful country and supporting all the great skilled companies that sorted our your rebuild!
Safe travels, hamba Kahle!
Gustav is a legend. What a great host.
Wonderful people in South African 🇿🇦- you certainly have met and made friends with some good people.😊🇦🇺
Namibia is incredible, one of my favourite places on the planet.
Thank you for taking the time to share a small part of your life with us. That country is so diverse, beautiful all at the same time!

When you give a part of yourself, then you never left. People come and go, unnoticed, some, the fortunate ones, are missed. ¡¡Pura Vida!!
You are going to love Namibia in all its nothingness it is spectacular.
You guys should have visited the Richtersveld National Park before you went into Namibia. It is just incredible countryside.
Nice to have met you at Scotia Safaris, all the best and remember ~ always have the B&C at hand. It solves most problems for a while...😄
I will take a leaf out of your book on that one for sure 😜

thanks for sharing your awesome times in RSA, all the best for Namibia, will follow closely, as my wife and i will do 2 weeks there beginning Aug
If you liked the Panty Bar, you should head onto the only bar in downtown Chicken, Alaska! Panties galore!!!
Thanks for the reply. I will update when I can.

Hello how R U 2? Long time after the previous video🎉
I'm disappointed!
You've missed a lot along the West Coast, Richtersfeldt, Orange River Rafting and and and..... Enjoy your trip further 👍🏻
Unfortunately even a life time isn’t enough to see it all…
Also we were out of visa days.
Wow, that year just flew by. Looking forward to this new adventure
Leigh, that's what happens when you leave your panties in a bar, you catch a chill 🤣🤣
Ahhh I knew there must be an explanation for that upset belly 😂

What about the rest of South Africa! I'm still waiting here in Pretoria for you guys
We will be back but Stephy was out of visa time for now 😉
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland haha,ok good excuse! Enjoy Namibia, our Honeymoon was in Nam, it is such a beautiful country. All the best
The colloquial term for an upset or runny tummy is 'gyppo guts' and immodium is the only medicine to cure it (you'll need a lot for up in Africa .
Gyppo guts 😂😂😂 Using that from now on 😜
2nd to comment, yyeessss😁

We drive a British car. Defender's are not known for their precision engineering 😉
