I heard that clip as well but it was a few weeks ago so I do not remember it fully but he was wrong with what he said. My first thought was just how much faster it was and her getting blasted on a pick n roll. Still doesn't mean he is wrong on this. His job is to throw out opinions in this setting , a lot of smart people said she will be great , it's only one game , I have no clue how good she is.

And they weren't all in his rookie season by any means either. One of the 11 turnover games came _after_ he'd already been named MVP of the league THREE TIMES. People need to dial it back.

Why on earth would the WNBA give the Fever the hardest schedule?? As a WNBA fan it’s extremely frustrating seeing CC being set up to fail. She just played a full college season. She has been with her new young team for 3 weeks - so let’s start her with her first 4 games being against the best defensive teams in the WNBA AND watch them guard her like it’s game 7 of the NBA finals. They double teamed her the entire game and guarded her full court….

Rob is one of those dinosaurs who still thinks it’s 1995. He doesn’t realize that comparing cable ratings in 2024 to the 1990s is absurd. A lot of people don’t even subscribe to cable because they don’t want to pay $100 a month or more to watch TV. In the 1990s everyone had cable. Whether Caitlin will be any good remains to be seen, but from a ratings perspective this was an obvious success.
