So… as a single mom, this season I find myself having to do the pool maintenance, the mowing all grasses on the property, power washing the back garden concrete patio, and cleaning up all of the leaves, as well as weeding, all entirely by myself… And you are my inspiration, Julie… Thank you, because watching your videos reminds me that yes …I CAN DO THIS‼️

Julie am always absolutely amazed at what you can pack into a days work. Just love your sitting room with that glorious pale blue sofa which matches perfectly with the marble top of the coffee table. All the rooms colour schemes are so classy and especially your vintage pink bedroom.

Ah, Julie .. I just love, love, love, seeing how you’re transforming your gorgeous little home !! It’s so beautiful and I’d give the world to be able to live in a small Italian town like this. Although we’re in Canada, we’re thinking of possibly spending some time in Italy (in an Air BnB maybe) so we can at least enjoy that relaxed (but healthier) lifestyle for part of the year. Yes was watching kitchen renovation
In the guest bedroom, two maps hang on the wall with the door. They seem to be hanging too high. I suggest lowering them so their top edge is the same as the top of your door molding. Often the recommendation is to hang the object so that the center of it is at the center of your field of vision. Obviously, that will depend on how tall you are but I mention it in case it helps. You are creating such a beautiful space..
A peg rail has been installed as not enough space for a wardrobe. That’s why the prints are higher
That was so much fun (although maybe not for you just after the ceiling painting adventure). Everything looks wonderful, adore that brass coat / basket / hat stand, the beautiful crystal light fixture and paintings and...everything, basically. About that champagne coupe shaped planter on the terrace, I have a plant suggestion - Erigeron, or Mexican Fleabane. I'm sure you must have it somewhere at Mapperton, but if you aren't familiar with it, it is thousands of tiny pink and white daisies that spill over the edges of stone walls and stairs and basically looks after itself. It should also be perennial for you, which is a bonus. A friend is travelling in Spain (Barcelona right now) and posted a picture of a gorgeous big shallow stone bowl on a wall that was overflowing with Erigeron and it looked fabulous. I cannot imagine that anyone is watering a big planter in a public area that often, if at all, so I would think it would do just fine on your terrace while you are away. The olive trees are going to be amazing and if you also pop some lavender and rosemary up there it will be a paradise.
I think a mural (maybe painted by your whole family) would look great on the wall of the rooftop patio. It would be something to gaze at while relaxing there.

Love the gues5 bedroom too. The pendant light is a very nice touch . Ilove the crisp color schemes you have going on. Too many patterns look cluttered and are noy calming. Your design are very pretty and sophisticated.

I love all the flea market finds! And the furnishings! For me I prefer wall color to be all one. The color half way up the wall breaks it up too much.
the terrasse salon is cozy , but i would prefer it like the light green wrought iron , more italian . you are tireless 😊😘😘

Love your hair. The grey wall paint looks lovely. Consider that painting the steps black will contrast with the wooden upstairs flooring. Very quckly the stairs will show wear from foot traffic.

Hi Julie, before you remove the tall poles from the terrace, have you considered stringing party lights from them? They are perfectly positioned to drape string lights from them back over your seating. I'm loving all your hard work. Thanks for sharing.

I want to live there in such a happy place hanging my laundry on the line and grabbing a croissant with jam and espresso in the morning sun. And a pizza with FRENCH FRIES!!! OMG! Admire your vision and your energy! Love those mirrors! The little touches like the new bedskirts add so much! Love the terrace. Maybe add a big outdoor umbrella that swings over the seating area when open. Or maybe build a pergola?
