Isn’t it funny how our best memories are when we are in flux and when things are not perfect. We renovated our home on a lake and I remember eating pizza in a closet with the rain pouring down just outside the door. Our 3 year old was happily running around. We were wondering what in the world we had gotten ourselves into. Now it’s beautiful and makes us happy every day. Fond, fond memories of all the chaos.

finding tile for my little house in Mexico was an experience not to be forgotten... it was the factory where they make them,,, each one hand painted and beautiful... we were there a whole work day. even shared lunch with the workers. In the end it turned out beautiful... when that was sold I felt sad to leave our beautiful tiles.

I wish as an industry they would cover the natural stone with something that can be removed later... Like a thin layer of wool, then a rebar lattice, and then skim of concrete or plaster.. And map it out for city Hall Or historical society so it can later be removed
Yes, I watch you both! So nice that you were together. Regarding picture hanging…the method I have used is to trace the picture frames on the paper, hang the **entire sheets** on the wall, hammer the holes through the paper, remove the paper, hang the frames. Ta da! No measuring.
