    Remember also Archbishop Lefebvre had a rather merciful view of salvation among traditionalists. He held that not only did *explicit* desire for baptism suffice for salvation, but also *implicit* desire for baptism.

      Could the conversion of the Jews have already happened in the first century?

  • @SandraSElam

    Father Nix,
    I had no idea that Muslims are converting after seeing Jesus in a dream. I had a similar experience in 2014 or 2015. Jesus appeared in a dream and said, "Come back to me when you stop being two people." He knew I was living a double life at the time, saying I believed the Catholic faith, but not living it. Through His grace and severe mercy, I did come back. I will never forget that dream.

    Recently I've had the impression while praying the Rosary to offer up specific prayers for the Jews (Our Blessed Mother's kin), Muslims, and the Eastern idolaters (Hindus, etc.). This group is in the BILLIONS. Sometimes I think we get caught up in so much trad stuff that we forget these lost souls in complete darkness. Thanks for bringing this up and keep it up pls.

    Very interesting and eye opening observation. Never thought of the recent influx of Muslims into the faith via dreams being the fulfillment of scripture about the Jews being converted in the end times. It makes absolute sense given the horrors with the jabs in Isreal. God be praised for His Mercy which is undeserved by all.

    Interesting comments on emergency baptisms. My grand-daughter was born in the beginning of the pandemic, when we were locked out of our churches and the sacraments. Our parish wasn't doing baptisms for quite some time. She eventually was baptised at about 5 months of age, but I had prepared myself for an emergency baptism.
    From what I learned though, it is licit only in the danger of imminent death, and no priest is available. In cases where new converts come to our door, we would have to direct them to nearest parish to obtain baptism from a priest. As you suggest, if sacarments are outlawed, churches closed, priests in hiding... then we may have to step up provided we follow the correct formula for baptism.
    "Person's name", I baptize you in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. (pouring water on their forehead to make skin contact, 3 times, as we pronounce Father, Son and Holy Spirit)
    Dr Taylor Marshall has a good video on the topic of emergency baptisms as well he put out in 2020.
    God bless you Fr Dave!

    Thank you Father, wonderful session with engaging concepts. I will pray but I also pray for the young that are leaving the church in droves. My heart is broken as my 26 year old son who went through 12 years of Catholic school and even Catholic Law school, tells me he does not believe in life after death or judgement, heaven and hell. I am so pained by his apostasy that I cannot stop begging our Lord to save him. I hope it is not the end of times because if he was to be judged now I do not see a good outcome. God help us all.

I have also consecrated them to the Blessed Mother...

    When I pray the Rosary, the fruit of the Crucifixion decade is “ The conversion of sinners , perseverance of the just and relief of the holy souls in Purgatory “ . That way I pray for conversions all the time. Also on the first three Ave’s instead of faith hope and charity, I dedicate first one to priests and religious, second one to the holy souls in Purgatory, third one to conversions reversions and vocations. Hopefully these prayers will help a few people.

    Please pray for me my christian brothers and sisters. I’m struggling with my faith. God is our Father I must keep trusting in him. Even though things look bleak. I’m a single mother I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions, lupus and heart disease so now I’m having a hard time providing for my children. I’m so ashamed! I have been put down and mocked over my unfortunate situation. Even though it’s almost Christmas time and we are about to face homelessness. I still have faith God is going to provide abundantly! Praise Jesus! Just Keep the faith!

I read a book once and I can't recall the name, but it had a Muslim character in it and I was struck by how similar her action on faith was too ours, obviously missing Jesus, but the dedication to prayer, charity, self sacrifice and modesty. I can see how with the addition of Jesus they might come running.

    Padre, this is more likely part of what St. Louis de Montfort refers to as the fruits of the “Apostles of the Last Times” who will be truly devoted to Mary, whom OL of La Sallete calls upon in the same terminology; as a side note, the discovery of “True Devotion to Mary” and OL of La Sallete occurred within 3 years of each other. Perhaps Our Lord is using the miraculous/dreams to get to ball rolling for the “ Apostles of the Last Times” to extend the empire of Christ to the “impious, the idolaters and the Muslims” as part of/for after the triumph of the Immaculate Heart. Ave Maria.

    Thank you for the video. Just a thought...The Word will always be the Word! (I believe my journey through some prodestant churches actually strengthened my Catholic faith.) After the Word it is up to the Shepards to lead the flock and then the flock to test the Shepards word to make sure they aren't wolves. I tested what some churches taught and it was obviously not the fullness of Truth. Also, Jesus' name is in the Koran. When muslims hear the name above all names, although it is still the name above all names, it is now up to them to test what they heard..which is obviously false. I pray that God opens their hearts, along w many Christians in name only, to test what they heard and follow the Truth. Just a thought.

    • @PadrePeregrino
      @PadrePeregrino  3 года назад +2

      Yes, someone made the point to me after the video the two witnesses wouldn't be needed if there were to be no great apostasy (presumably from the hierarchy who is to teach!)

  • @jeaniemccombs2200
    @jeaniemccombs2200 3 года назад

    For a Protestant, conversion just means the person, often emotionally stirred up by promises of healing, health, wealth and family reunion, prays the sinner’s prayer: I’m a sinner, I am sorry for my sins, come into my heart, Jesus. That person is now converted forever. A real question to ask is how many make it into a Christian church, how many still call themselves Christian after one month? I’d never listen to D’Souza, he’s a sensationalist and self-promoter par excellence.

    The Semitic bloodlines idea: the Mormons make that claim. Their Patriarch gives a one time blessing to each member and at that moment he “reveals” their lineage in terms of the tribes of Israel. Just a curious tidbit…no idea how this fits in…not making any claims…
