I purchased the Ninja dual from their official website and they sent me a re-used refurbed air fryer in shoddy condition. Returned immediately, I will now buy an Instant Vortex.

Out of all the Air fryers I have reviewed, I would say that the Instant vortex is my favourite, simply because of having the convenience of having a large oven or 2 separate ones,
I will be doing a review on the salter dual oven air fryer from lidl £110, against the Ninja in a few days,

I have the twin drawer Instant and it's brilliant, I was thinking of getting the one you have covered here as taking the divider out gives the option of using larger dishes. However, Instant seem to have done away with the viewing windows and light they have in the twin drawer which is a shame as that's the reason I chose Instant over Ninja in the first place and I love that feature.

Thanks for the comment 👍, I have just reviewed the new 20 litre Tefal air fryer, that is a big air fryer with shelves, it also has a glass door and a light, it may be what you are looking for.

The Ninja is a very robust looking machine over some of it competitors however I do think the price is over inflated compared to one of its nearest competitors here the Instant machine which i do like the look of.
I think with any product you buy having a good warranty and after sales service is crucial factor. I owned a ninja AF400 and after 10 months started to trip out the electrical. Needless to say ninja C/S wanted nothing to do with my complaint other than kept repeating "You need to take it back to where purchased" ...Nowt like washing your hands of your own product onto others.

Thank you for the comment, I agree it's always risky buying an expensive product and not knowing how long it will last,
I buy a lot of my items from Argos, they may be a bit more expensive than some of their competitors, buy generally they are very good at refunding broken products, in your case they definitely would have refunded you.

Key thing for us is the wattage. We use our instant Vortex in our Motorhome as it is only 1700 watts compared to the Ninja. Like everything, you get what you pay for, but for us, the instant vortex is flexible and practical

Hi you said the display on the instant was quite faded I’m a little bit concerned as we’ve just returned a tower airfryer as you couldn’t see the display and don’t want to be in the same predicament again.

Hi, thanks for the comment, I use the Instant vortex as my favourite Air Fryer currently, but the light is quite dim, if it is in a bright room with the sun shining in, it is quite difficult to see, and you have to cover it to see the control's, but even with that I still prefer it to most of the other air fryers I have reviewed.

HI, mainly because of the price and that you can use it as 1 big oven, I now use the Ninja Flexdraw, which is my favourite air fryer.

And let me add this I have the instant pot and the drawer got damage, you wouldn’t find a replacement drawer the company doesn’t sell them. I end up throwing it away and purchase the ninja they sell replacements baskets ❤❤❤❤

Thanks for the information, I will be careful with mine, its a shame that you had to throw it away, it's a waste of money.

Hello Great vids .. I'm interested in the Instant Vortex whats your thoughts on the display I ask because at present I only have a small kitchen and would need to be place it under the window so was concerned about glaring...didn't want to get the the point of throwing it out the window ..🙄 Keep up the good work God bless you mate.

Thank you for the nice comment 👍, The Instant vortex is a great Air Fryer and was my favourite for quite a while, I now use the Ninja Flexdraw, which is a bit more expensive, but I think it's a bit better,
Probably my only concern with Instant Vortex was the display, but I have had comments from watchers that their displays are fine so it could be possible that mine was faulty, If you live in the UK , I suggest buying it from Argos, they seem to have a very good returns policy, that way you could check it out and if it is not bright enough for you, you could return it.

My Instant Vortex Versa 9 quart sits right next to a window and I have no problem reading the display.
I’ve had it for over a year and use it almost daily!!
I love the option of having two 4.5 quart air fryer or one large 9 quart air fryer.
One of my favorite features is Sync Finish, where you can cook two different foods at the same time using two different temperatures and two different Cook times and have both finish at the same time!

Does the ninja have any pre cook feature as well?
And how this works in the vortex? I normally have to defreez my meals in a warm water bowl before I can put them in the airfryer 😂 so this feature really would suit me

    • @its-review-time
      @its-review-time  9 месяцев назад

Hi, no, the Ninja does not have a pre heat.
The vortex preheat basically runs for between 2 and 3 minutes just to warm the vortex to the set heat, it wouldn't be any good to defrost, as it would get too hot too quickly.
You could set the air fryers on a very low heat for a set time, which could slowly defrost the food,
I normally defrost my food in my microwave as that does have a defrost setting.

Whats the model number please of the Ninja airfryer you are using here in this video? I bought one earlier today and it was $285 Australian dollars, which seems cheap so it may have come down in price now
