I have a 2015 and this doesn't seem to work for me. I still get a very short "service required" when I started the engine. It just stays on for about 1-2 seconds.

Restablecer manualmente el servicio
1. Encienda el interruptor de encendido.
2. Abre el capó
3. Abra la puerta del conductor.
4. Restablecimiento de mantenimiento La información se distribuirá en el cuadro de instrumentos.
5. Presione completamente los pedales del acelerador y del freno y manténgalos presionados durante 60 segundos
6. Apague el interruptor de encendido.
Nota: Si la información de mantenimiento no se borra, repita el procedimiento anterior.

The scan tool I use in the video is a Launch X431 Pro 3, to try and cover as many jobs as possible we also have Vag com, Op Com, IDS (Mazda & Ford) Carman Scan (good for old Japanese) Delphi and an older Launch X431 with all the plugs/adaptors.
I will be getting the dealer level Peugeot Citroen one soon.
hi, I have a range rover evoque 2013, and I think the car is on limp mode, suddenly the car performance drop into half it takes me more than 20 secs to reach the speed of 100km/h, so do u have any idea how to reset the car? my car is stil brand new i dont drive it at all i bought it in 2013 and till now i drove 40000 km only so it shouldnt be a problem in the engine or gearbox

@@jenniferholguin1847 yeah, I took my car to land-rover dealership. It turned out to be turbo failure, if you still have a valid warranty take it ASAP, If you don't I regret to inform you a new turbo costs 10k$. But first take it to the dealer ship and let them check it.

I have a 2015 and also have the same scan tool you have. It tells me the exact same procedure for clearing it. But it doesn't seem to work for me. I start with the ignition off, then I turn it on (foot not on brake ...so it does not start the engine), then I pop the hood with the lever, then I open the driver door. Step #4 then says "maintenance resetting information will be displayed on the instrument cluster". I do not get this. All I get is warnings that my hood is open, that my door is open and that I need to put my foot on the brake if I want to start the car. I still proceed with pushing the brake and accelerator for 60 seconds. Then I let off both of them, then turn off ignition..then put foot on the brake and start the engine and the service required is still there. Is there something else I should be doing?
Also I notice your instrument cluster display does not seem to show that the hood is open, only the right side door. Are you opening your hood?
@@lemmy999 Ok, release the bonnet and leave the drivers door open,
switch on ignition,
Press accelerator & brake pedal for 60 plus seconds,
Turn ignition off,
Close bonnet & door and check if it cleared.
Sometimes it can be as simple and not pressing at the exact same time quick enough or releasing the pedals too early. That is all the info I have on them other than what I mentioned for resetting on the earlier models.

I got a oil change yesterday and my service reset light and know I got a red triangle with and exclamation mark

Doesn't work. 2014 LR4 has to be reset with a scanner.
Haaahhh...why Landrover make it so complicated? Maybe the plan is to make motorists service RR only on their dealers.
