Been waiting 20 years for you guys to fully (in-depth) demonstrate an SPD with kick/hat foot triggers and a few pads, for a tiny, mobile sub-rig. You just won't do it, so we assume it can't be done and you will keep losing that market.
the pro version has inputs for hat open/closed and 4 double zone or 8 single zone pads/triggers and i’ve seen videos of exactly what you said, so yes it’s 100% possible

Can you set different velocity levels for the pads? Seems that there was only one velocity in this demo, and it makes it sound not realistic.
