Hi! As I have never needed a Master Clock before, does this improve anything in a small home studio? (Gear: Pro Tools 12 (NOT Hd) + Fast Track Solo sound card). Or this clock is only for multi source recordings? It may sound silly but an answer will be appreciated!
Yes it does I have it in my mixing rig at my home studio. It helps what you hear through the monitors alot clearer and makes a huge difference in your da converter. I swear by it it makes a huge difference in the mixes.
I have a madi xtreme card and a ssl alpha link converter clocked to the card. I run my tracks through a few pieces of outboard gear and sometimes get clicks and pops but dont know if its the clocking or denormalization caused by some plugins. Is my internal clocking the problem when running audio through so much outboard gear? How much of a difference does the trinity vs the ocx make?
81awesomeness that’s probably issues with drivers, DAW interface, and low buffering. I hate being that, personally, but that’s what it almost always is. Unless you run multiple audio interfaces, it helps. But digital boxes with analog ins/outs, then no, ime. But YMMV
why all this brands don't publish tests of the improvments? if it's so clear where are the measurements? master clock to improve convertors performance is snake oil and i will put money on it with whoever argue otherwise.
Realmente son lo mejor que hay en el mercado ... lejos los BANGUARDISTAS DEL AUDIO! FELICITACIONES
I have the Apogee Big Ben. Is this a vast improvement over the Big Ben?!

Can it send multiple different Word on the out puts? so if I want 88.2 on 1-5 and 44.1 on 6-10?
Yes, you can! ;) You can multiply or divide the sample rate on the different outputs.
Is this a replacement for the Trinity?
ALMOST GOOD FOR ME!
NOT IMPRESSED WITH MY WORK?
