Didn’t even know about these guys. They’re really good. I’m still hoping that Kassim Auale (former band Alazka) starts putting out stuff again because he’s an amazing vocalist.
Love how the voice blends/fades into the guitar!
FLOYA is such an exciting project. we need an album.
Totely agree
100% agree
FLOYA is truly elite vibes.
Definitely check out Time, The Valuator. It's a more progressive metal version of Floya. The dynamics in "Cloud City" are superb, "In Control"'s chorus is reminiscent to Hands Like Houses at their finest, and "Starseeker" is a powerful, prog ballad.
I would love to see a reaction to Stoneside. They're a criminally underrated prog metal band and draw comparisons to Sleep Token. You get Miltonesque clean guitar tones, piano, and beautiful clean vocals that suddenly becomes very dissonant, heavy, and guttural vocally.
This song is great, immediately playlisted! Just went and listened to it lossless and I want to give whoever’s mixing/mastering their stuff a medal.
This is the reason why i love you and your channel so much. Always introducing me to amazing new sounds I never knew i needed in my life. Thank you very much!
Ahhhhh these guys! It kinda reminds me of Japanese rock acts. Probably with all the high riffing
This band is such a breath of fresh air and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store
From polyphia to metal to this band... Kudos to your excellent taste in music sir, all my faves - subscribed!
Thanks, man!
@@TankTheTech Given our excellent taste... If you haven't heard or planned, check out anything RESOLVE. Their debut album is a mix of so many good things.
Nice discovery! These guys reminde me of a Japanes hard rock/alt metal band called Survive Said the Prophet.
The production and cues are very similar, anyone interested check out songs like "MUKNAJO", "lost & found" and "Right and Left" have all been theme songs for anime and are very good
Some deep cuts I love are "Spectrum" "your head" and "Let it Die"
really good band, cant wait to hear more from Floya too
Pedantry corner: NATO is an acronym: it's pronounced was if it's a word. IBM is an initialism, the letters are pronounced separately, just like the various Marshall amps you mentioned.
Learn something new every day. Haha
Entertaining reaction with good research as always. Thx and Greetings from Germany.
I discovered Floya at Arising Empire, the label.
I recommence "Annisokay" from this label, you will love them, too - your wife not, I would guess 😂
Thanks, Tank :) Another great band that I learned about on your channel. This song went right on my spotify playlist.
Another great song and video.... I'll add it to my playlist (like everything else you put on here!). At least this time I'm not buying an album! So far!
Must admit, I'm still waiting for the review where you go "well that was garbage!"
Alazkas screamer/singer is now apart of novelist fr and if you want to listen to alazka i recommend their song ghost
Thanks for the introduction. They sound promising.
His vocals really remind me of Peter Cox from Go West, love the vibe these guys have!
Time, the Valuator is just pure bliss.
that snare tone could have saved St. Anger ;)
This is genuinely good music! Thanks for introducing them ☺ I like it that you also do rock on your channel - a little more accessible than Lorna Shore 😉
By the way, I would really freak out if you would agree to check out one of my all time favourite punk rock bands who are very famous in german speaking countries: Die Ärzte ❤ They are an institution for decades now, always genius texts with social commentary or just plain fun songs.
If you like feel good music, I can recommend their song "Ich, am Strand" ("Me, on the beach"). You cannot not dance to this! Or one of their older songs "Junge", was a massive hit on radio.
Also one of their most famous song is "Schrei nach Liebe" (Scream for Love) from the 80s, their statement against right-wing extremism. That song is very very famous in Germany and neighbouring countries.
so glad you got around to this song this band is so majestic! Also when is the paleface (ch) - the orphan reaction need some breakdown on the rollercoaster of brutality known as paleface!
Pretty good song and music video...thanks for the introduction to them.
I have a question for the community. I just watched some of the To The Rats and Wolves videos recently (Nico from Electric Callboy previous band); does anyone know why they didn't really get off the ground as much as they probably should have?
Seems to me that their stuff was pretty dang on good and the videos are great but I'm super glad EC gained Nico as I think he's a great addition to the group. Sebastian is great too, Nico just seems to be a better fit for them now.
Avantasia are releasing a new album in fall '22. First Single came just out. As you haven't made any Video with them, this could be a great moment to start a "road to Avantasia" with their old stuff. There is plenty of Live footage on YT.
Sliiiiiightly triggered by you writing the Cm/Bb/Gm/Ab chord structure as C/A#/G/G# but I'll live 😁 Very nice song, I'm glad I still checked out this video although I couldn't make the premiere. Gonna throw them on my playlist now!
Hahahahaha. I wrote it like a true guitar tech, not a musician.
LOVE the fact these guys are gaining so much steam. It's impossible to retain a bad mood while listening to them, and music like that is rare & usually goes largely unnoticed. Can't wait for a full album from them🤌🤌🤌
Please make a video of the BÖHSE ONKELZ. Greetings from Germany
Hey tank you definitely need to check the band Bury Tomorrow. You'll love them. Hangbang alert.
@TankTheTech Do you know “Nachts weinen die Soldaten” (=Soldiers cry in the night) by Saltatio Mortis? It’s a metal song about the fallen of WWI and one of my favourites. I’d love to see your reaction to that.
Hi mister reaction band : Kapital - Mantra
...Tank trying to look as interested as possible, yet waiting for the drop. Very polite review.
Are you trying to suggest that I actually didn't like this?
@@TankTheTech...my suggestion was never as such, I could just see the yearning for a spark to light that cap-less fire.
To what you said about 4 chord song structure, I´m just going to leave this here:
ruclips.net/video/5pidokakU4I/видео.html
4 Chords by Axis of Awesome, just a total classic.
Oh I've seen it. Haha
ein geiler Song! It wouldn´t be bad if they were a bit heavier, but it´s fine
just from listening to this I think these guys are not going to be for me, but I will listen to some more of their other stuff before making up my mind fully.
Is it only my personal perception or is there an increase/shift towards more vibey/soul-ish music happening right now?
Maybe it's just me getting more into that type of stuff. The Illenium feat. Spiritbox song is my vibe hymn of this summer.
There definitely are a lot of bands coming out now with that type of sound, and Arising Empire is doing a great job at picking some of them up and mixing it with their roster of heavier bands.
Marv only plays Kemper ;)
Hey tank, do u have plans to do a reaction for sunset over the empire, by arch enemy
Yes.
YOU GOT TO DO NEW SONG FROM ALE STORM IS VERY GOOD FOR SURE YOU WILL LOVE TANK ❤️☠️💀💀😁
Oh I will.
Hey Tank, do me a favor and check out VOLA when you have some downtime for active listening!
He has heard some, but needs to listen to Straight Lines .. Now that`s a banger
Try out Callejon!
Soft aviana🤣
Good song but I wish the chorus had more energy. Just feels a little flat in my opinion.
That song is kinda boring for my taste, maybe it's to slow or pop alike idk just my opinion ofc
This is piss and you know it. Disco Ensemble from FIN will show you the ropes. Sadly they're already bygones but you should deeffinately check them out.
