One of Orden Ogan's greatest strengths is Seeb; the man's a goddamn machine taking care of almost everything Orden Ogan does on his own. So many front-men can be very hands-off outside of performances and recording, so it's incredible to see the veritable face of the band be so completely involved in the process of making and mastering their music.
They were good, saw them in Saarbrücken but I have to say, for me there was something missing. Right in between Dominum and Feuerschwanz they were kind of underwhelming for me. I don´t know but they did not catch me like Dominum did.I have to say I did not know them or Dominum before I went to the concert and they were not bad but I thought maybe they would have been better as the first opener instead of the second one just because Dominum convinced me so hard
@@brainlesseren_2742 I was at the show in Munich last week and I 100% agree with you. Dominum was fantastic! They know how to warm up a crowd. Orden Ogan was nice but it felt more like a "routine" with them, where Dominum went all out and hit the pedal to the metal.
same for me, i got into feuerschwanz recently and saw that one of my favorite bands i've known for a while, orden ogan, opened for them so it was a free 2in1 concert for me lol
Was there at their show at munich last week. They were my personal highlight and as always they delievered every song with so much energy and fun... if you are able to join a show, just do it and you won't regret it. Greetings from Bavaria in Germany
Thank you again for turning me onto another German/European metal band. Where I live in PA, there is no metal scene. I am in the dark wilderness when it come to finding new bands. I am going to the Kamelot show next week and Ad Infinitum are opening. I will make sure to yell out you name to Melissa hears it. ROFL!! Again, thank you for the new band to listen too
I'm a simple man: I see Alister Vale, I click like! I saw Orden Ogan as a happy accident for the first time in 2013. There was a local band contest, where good friends of mine had a slot. And the organizer had booked a headlining band to attract more people to watch the smaller bands that were part of the contest. This headlining band was Orden Ogan. It was a great show and I'm a fan of the band ever since.
Thank you for reminding me that I need to listen to this band. They keep popping up in my feed but I've never given them a proper listening because I always have so much going on, ahahaha.
Awesome video, as always! Thanks a lot for showing the tour dates, had to pause the video to go grab me some tickets... Feuerschwanz and Orden Ogan in one? Yes sir!
To introduce someone to the amazing Orden Ogan there is no way past The Things We Believe In or even We Are Pirates. Glad you give them a Hands Up on your channel!! Greetings from Metallum Germanicum :)
I've seen Orden Ogan live multiple times, first time in 2014, and it was great. First time was Will see them again next week with Feuerschwanz, very much looking forward to it.
I love your reaction videos!❤ If you ever feel like life is too good and you're too happy, I urge you to balance things with some Swallow the Sun 😃 The backstory of their music is heartbreaking. The music itself is dark, heavy and beautiful. I originally wondered if it's so doom that it's too much, but when I read the book telling their (especially their songwriters') story, everything made sense. Beautiful music born from a very dark place 🖤
Ogan is the old celtic word for fear. their name is Order of Fear essentially, which is why this song is called order of fear. the lyrics are callbacks to multiple of their older songs.
I just came home from the Feuerschwanz show in Hannover (great performance by all 3 bands btw) and this new video pops up in my suggestions (nice timing 😄). I can't agree more, Orden Ogan are so underrated. One of my favourite bands since "To The End" came out. I've seen them live several times since 2013 and they never disappoint. Next time will be at the Rockharz festival this year where they will play one day after their coming album release. 🤘
Thanks for the reminder, been meaning to listen to more of their stuff. Found out about them through Angus McSix, which you probably know Seeb is heavily involved with too (I think you've covered them before). Similar vibes, but still different enough 🤘
Great reaction 👍I'm a fairly new fan of these guys. Happen to stumbel over your reaction to Gun Men a few weeks ago and directly wanted to see them live! They're great! Fun fact is that the very next day Sweden Rock Festival announced that they will play there this year 😃Actually they will perform on the same day as Electric Callboy - I'm so stoked that I'll se both at the start of the festival, the rest is just a bonus 😊Thanx Ian!
This band sounds incredible!! Thanks for introducing them Tank! This music video looks to be inspired by Bloodborne which I am all here for. I love all your videos and I hope you are well❤
I agree with you tank.Seeb is a monster of a producer. My introduction was the gunman clip,i had never heard drums as wide sounding as so is the chorus. He really focuses on all the little details but over a 4 minute song, they really add up and make quite the difference.
please check out the new album by disbelief aswell, another underground german death metal band that has been active since 1990, they might just have released their best album of their careers, definitely deserve more listeners.
The Gunman got me into these guys and everything thereafter has kept me there. Underrated for sure, overdue for greatness.... absolutely. Thank you for this video. We're on the same wavelength for sure.
crazy how Seeb and his guys made it through all the years so far in the metal szene. i was lucky to play with them (with my ex-band 7 Seals) right after their first demo a few times. Angels War was already back then a killer song.
Orden Ogan is my favorite band - I love their music so much. Noone in Germany really knows them. I saw them so many times live and they always DELIVERED.
Discovered Orden Ogan with the Ravenhead-album and love them. Haven't heard all their songs yet but all tracks that I have heard gives me goosebumps. This new single included! Gonna have to buy some of their vinyls!
i love Orden Ogan! they are truly awesome! when I saw the title I wondered what band it would be and if i would know them. love the Easter eggs from the past albums.
Saw them live waaaay back in the days... Like playing in a small local Church and at smaller local day/weekend festivals. My favorite part always was when they played the songs from their former Band "Die Tanzenden Eingeweide" (The Dancing Intestines) called "Splattered in a half Minute" and "Splattered in Seconds" - announced as describing the feeling of a fly hitting the windshield with 180km/h on the Autobahn... pure gold!
About Time you got ur Butt on Orden Ogan, awesome band and great live. still bummed i missed half their set at Summer Breeze '18 bc i started goin to the Infield too late. also funny that someone mentioned Blinf Guardian in the live comments as OO used to have a very BG-sound in their early Career which also kinda dented their growth bc ppl just wrote them off as BG Clones
What a coincidence. Just put the Easton Hope album in my car today and now seeing that they have released a new song. Great Song! Saw them live a few years ago in first row at noon at Summerbreeze Festival and was happy like a little child on christmas 😅 It's a little sad to see that they're still that underrated.
I saw the live in Hannover with Feuerschwanz 4 hours ago, just came back home from the show. They might have a difficult time to catch up with Feuerschwanz, but they still are awesome live, as was Dominum, a new band from the same area that started the show.
Been following Orden Organ for almost 4 years now. I always thought they were criminally underrated, at least here in NA like you had mentioned. Not much from them will blow your mind but it sounds far better than some of their numbers reflect. Really hope they can get a breakthrough here soon
Love Orden Ogan. Was literally talking about them in the discord channel about an hour before Tank released this video. I was saying that I just discovered another German band that sounds just like Orden Ogan, and their name is Thornbridge
I saw them togehter with Feuerschwanz in Osnabrück on saturday and they absolutely nailed it. Their performance of Things we believe in was incredible. Looking forward to see them together again at Summer Breeze this summer.
Just 8 days ago, I was at my second Feuerwanz concert in Saarbrücken. It was my first time seeing Orden Ogan and Dominum live. And man... all three bands kick asses! The crowd went mad! You should check out Dominum with the song "Hey Living People" too! I enjoyed every single band!
I watched them live in Wiesbaden recently, they were actually the main reason I went there, but Dominum were also great (+ Feuerschwanz, obviously, but I expected that). "The Things We Believe In" is one of my favourites recently, and they played it, so I was happy that day.
Did Seeb channel his inner Hansi Kürsch @ 9:07 or what just happened there O.o . Amazing tune all the way through! I love Orden Ogan for their unique but familar sound they put out on every album. Can't wait for July :D
You have to check out another underrated German band called 'Brainstorm.' They're also in the Station metal/power metal genre, and the song 'Turn Off The Light' features Seeb from Orden Ogan.
Dude, you're so right. They are soo underrated. Saw them two times in a tiny club in a small German city named Andernach and after the show, they came down to just casually chat with the rest of the crowd still there. I got to talk with their Bassist, Steven, a lot and because I myself play bass, too and what I find really great too is that they just talk to you from metalhead to metalhead even though I as a hardcore fan was so flattered to see them 😄
The last 3 months or so my music taste has just been epic German bands. Orden Ogan, Powerwolf, Electric Callboy, Feuerschwanz, Equillibrium... those Germans really know how to make amazing metal music. Only notable exception is my love of Orbit Culture.
I saw them on their current Feuerschwanz+Orden Ogan+Dominum tour in Berlin. Amazing show, all bands together put on an amazing concert and the whole thing was probably the best metal concert I've been to for some time! I too think that Orden Organ is criminally underrated, allthough they have made them selves a big fan base and as a german, many metalheads I met over time do in fact love them. I first heard of them when songs like The Things We Believe In or Gunman showed up in my Spotify mixes.
Just saw them yesterday during Feuerschwanz's tour, they did a really great show! Oh, and "Order of Fear" got changed into "Order of Bier" by the audience xD
I'm a principal in China and I'm wearing the shirt from when I saw them on tour ages ago in the UK (in a bar, so not massive) at work today. The world is full of coinkydinks.
I love orden ogan. Saw them live like 10 times or so and they always smash it. Saw them with feuerschwanz a week ago and they played a absolutely great setlist.
Thank you. I've never met anyone who knows this band, even though I have quite few friends who are super into all types of metal. These guys are badass. 'Gunman' is a classic to me. 😂
Loved the Gunmen album! Also loved Seeb's production work on Brainstorm's "Midnight Ghost" album. If you haven't checked out anything on that one, try out "Ravenous Minds" for some really cool vocal harmonies that, to me, sound like Seeb had some input on. And by some, I mean A TON!
First time i was introduced to Orden Ogan was 2009 when my dad showed me the cover of ”the battle of waterloo” by Running Wild from the ReUnation cover album. Great cover!🤘
I discovered Orden Ogan randomly because of spotify shuffel, i was listening to i think Fuerschwanz and it started playing Ordan Ogen, i was hooked from the first moment. I also really appreciate seeing to support these bands by buying their albums and by getting their word out. I talk allot with a friend from Canada and when i mention the bands i listen to he has no clue who they are, personally i prefer European bands because American bands sound "too american" to me ( i know that's a weird way to dislike a band) but I'm sure you'll understand what I mean. anyway greetings from the Czech Republic
I'll have to dive deeper into these guys' stuff. I love a good underrated european metal band and it always feels like I've found another rare gem when I stumble across one.
Oh yes and this is late but a newer power metal band that is touring with Feuerschwanz and Orden Ogan right now is DOMINUM. A really good band to check out, that show was a rare case of me being there for all three bands and I started out as a fan of none of them. The reason I was going to that show because one day my dad came to me excitedly saying: "Feuerschwanz is coming to The Netherlands!!!" He asked me if I wanted to come with and he was just so happy that I could not refuse, I quickly became a fan of all three bands though with slightly favouring DOMINUM and Orden Ogan more. I have a signed Orden Ogan patch on my battle vest now.
first heard them at a very small live show in their hometown, next to my hometown (more of a village tho). forgot how big they've gotten since (f.e. Gunman was P8 in the german charts I believe). great sound and just big and epic like you said. loved them since that day
Where I live in Eastern Europe, they are relatively well known in the power metal community. I first saw them opening for Powerwolf, who are VERY popular here, so a lot of people probably know OO through them.
A monthish ago I seen a video on Napalm's youtube (feuerschwanz - unholy grail) it was featuring dominum & orden ogan, figured I would give them a shot and damn hell was not disappointed and now I see a video by Tank showcasing this band 🤘🤘🤘
I listened to a song I didn't like from them and hated them until I saw them live for the first time 2016. With the first note of their first song I immediately recognized I missjudged them and now they are one of my fav. bands. Can't wait for this friday to see them open for Feuerschwanz, to see them live finally again since 2019 (covid you a****** :( )
Ok Tank, time to check out Dominum! Saw them and Orden Ogan at the Feuerschwanz show recently and they were fucking amazing 🤘 I liked them even more than Orden Ogan^^
Thank you for this video, I was unaware that Orden Ogan posted a new video and they had a new album planned. Tank, that is a big service. They are doing an awesome job on this. Unfortunately, they are not that popular in Europe. Those guys should rub shoulders with Sabaton and Powerwolf but it's a shame they are not there. Not that it stopped me from banging my head to them, in the last five years. Some people know of them in Europe and I like to think they have a small but dedicated fanbase.
Yo, Tank, Orden Ogan is badass group. Glad to see you giving them some exposure. On a different note, being you're a huge fan of Electric Callboy, I was wondering if you've ever heard of the group One Morning Left? They're one of my current obsessions. I would liken them to Finland's version of EC. They make some catchy as fuck, goofy synth metal.
This is why i love your channel. You always find great bands for your viewers to listen to
I have a playlist called TankFinds that is all stuff from bands discovered on this channel.
First time I tried liking a vid from the thumbnail.
Great that Orden Ogan gets coverage!
Having them as an opener for Feuerschwanz was almost the main reason to go that concert this year for me. So worth it!
They were amazing and I loved them there, but Dominum was even better imo.
Would love for Tank to check them out.

I have a signed Orden Ogan patch on my battle vest now.
first time hearing this band...liked it a lot...will check out more from them...
Another good one from my hometown band. They should play all the festivals by now. They are that good.
first heard them at a very small live show in their hometown, next to my hometown (more of a village tho). forgot how big they've gotten since (f.e. Gunman was P8 in the german charts I believe). great sound and just big and epic like you said. loved them since that day
Just saw then 2h ago. Didn’t know them. Just went there for Dominum. I approve your approval ✌️
Hello @TankTheTech. I can higly recomment iron savior, a metal band from Hamburg. Awesome vocals.
With the first note of their first song I immediately recognized I missjudged them and now they are one of my fav. bands. Can't wait for this friday to see them open for Feuerschwanz, to see them live finally again since 2019 (covid you a****** :( )
I'm so glad I got to see Orden Ogan at ProgPower in 2019.
Never heard of Orden Ogan. This is pretty great.
This is the first time I even hear of the band. Good stuff. 🤘🏻👨🏻🦳
Ok Tank, time to check out Dominum! Saw them and Orden Ogan at the Feuerschwanz show recently and they were fucking amazing 🤘 I liked them even more than Orden Ogan^^
Love seeing your European metal band’s reviews buddy, perhaps give Brainstorm a listen 🤘
Heard them the first time now and love it. thanks for that.
you can also listen to Freedom Call for me Happy Metal ;)
I saw them live at the Feuerschwanz tour. The band is cool!
Saw them live for the 1st time back in 2013 at Hamburg Metal dayz . Even took a photo with their Trooper from the Video lol
