    Hi all
I’ve gotten too excited in an unboxing again and not read the side of the box…
It is 1/16th, I think some of the accessories are a bit big in size, but the IFV is 1/16th.
I had no idea it’s such a big boy next the the Abrams, thought it would be much smaller!.
Here’s where I bought it from
    www.dklmrc.com/product/td-rtr...
Dklmrc will check all there tanks, so shouldn’t come trashed from the factory.
But postage is a bit expensive, but flipping quick! (2 days from Hong Kong!)!
And I think forgebear tanks in the UK are stocking them soon
    Have a great weekend!
    00:00 introduction
    01:43 unboxing and first look
05:15 close up comparison with Heng Long Abrams in 1/16th
07:17 real life photo comparison side by side
07:29 in depth look at parts
09:31 1/16th tongde Bradley fuel can to 1/16th sol model fuel can.
10:16 more in depth part observations
11:02 crew stowage and duffel bags, comparison to 1/16th Haya Chieftain commander.
    12:29 indepth look at Bradley
13:13 closer look at plastic tracks
13:29 look inside the fighting compartment, and the electronics inside.
    14:53 i found the battery!
    15:47 Bradley running and functions
22:41 closer look at the Manual
25:05 i finally see the scale on the Manual
27:34 it has inertia setting, how cool!
28:41 big gap in turret ring, and bolts underneath for torsion bars

The M-2 Bradley is a troop transportation vehicle (or more accurately: it's an infantry support vehicle... I think). Anyways, it looks bigger because it can carry several infantry in the back whereas the M-1 Abrams is all tank. The M-2 supports the infantry, the M-1 supports destruction. It'll roll over your car and not even feel it.

Thanks for this, it’s fricking huge isn’t it! I think some of the gear might be a bit big, and the pioneering tools.
And sorry I missed the box, it was a live opening, I did it as soon as the postman put it in my hands. I know others take it all out and rebox it, but that’s no fun! 😂
Thanks so much for the info, and thanks for watching, means a lot 👍

IRL, the Brad is taller but not wider nor longer (hull length) than the Abrams.

    • @mrtankalotrctankschannel
      @mrtankalotrctankschannel  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hi canto!
Thanks for that, I’m still slightly dubious of its size, it’s not longer, but it’s the same width and it is taller. I have a feeling it’s like 1/15.5 if you know what I mean.
I love to compare it to the Dklmrc Bradley kit.
And my 1/16th crewmen look a bit small in it.
Thanks for commenting, good to hear from you.

@@mrtankalotrctankschannel The Abrams is only about 2 inches wider than the bare minimum Brad (M2). When you go to the up armoured variants, A2ODS, A3, A3 UCSV, they would be wider in the sense that they have additional ERA blocks and grilles added on to the skirts.

Hi. I just received mine with some parts already broken during shipment, i guess? The whole assembly of addons is endless. They should do something about it. Controls quite sketchy, Overall, I find it OK compared to HL tanks.

Sorry for not getting back sooner!, and that’s flipping annoying.
They do seem to use them in postage as rugby balls, or the plastic is brittle in some way.
Has any wiring broken off the gun motor yet? Just wondering if it was me being unlucky!.
I do think here very heng long 10/15 years ago.

@mrtankalotrctankschannel I just ordered a standard Mk5 British tank from them. They gave me discount code after reporting of the broken part from the Bradley's read lighting cover. Got the tank less than 200 sgd including shipping and tax. It's quite a steal.

The M2 Bradley is an Infantry Fighting Vehicle and usually works as part of a Mechanised Infantry Platoon. The Warrior is a UK equivalent.
The M3 Bradley is an Cavalry Fighting Vehicle and usually works with a reduced number of scouts in the back but and increased number of TOW missiles.
As for scale, (apart from it being on the outside of the box and printed at the top of the first page of the manual and on the little black box) perhaps the easiest check is the width, since M1 and M2 have similar. M1 = 3.65m, M2 = 3.60m.10:00 Also you are comparing a fuel "jerry" with a water one - so they wont be the same.

      Hi!
Yep did that, and it’s very strange in dimension, and I really don’t know why they did it! I can’t see any reason for gearbox size, the only thing I can think is they didn’t want to make another turret ring up!.

      Hi!
Sorry I’ve not gotten back sooner, been a nuts week at work!.
You have hooben for the Cromwell. And DKLMRC for the Churchill.
      Here’s the hooben
      www.hooben-shop.com/products/hooben-1-16-cromwell-the-fastest-british-military-army-tank-cruiser-mk-viii
But there not known for the best customer satisfaction..but it’s fully built and RTR
      And the Churchill
      www.dklmrc.com/product/ccmk7
But you have to build it, and both aren’t cheap.
I think Dklmrc on request will build the Churchill for you, but guessing it might knock the price up by a quarter.
Thanks for watching, and hope that’s helpful.

    • @mrtankalotrctankschannel
      @mrtankalotrctankschannel  5 месяцев назад

      Hi!
Its new because its a factory production, the one in the vid is a much better model, you need to build it and its from DKLMRC.
If you are inclined to do the work i'd get that.
Carson does make them built to order, but obviously there much more expensive.
      www.dklmrc.com/product/okmo-1-16-artr-3d-print-us-m2a3-bradley-model-kit
This is the one in the vid, the Tongde one is quite toy like and out of scale, but there is a slew of after market upgrade sets coming out, and if you can live with the dodgy scaling, its okay.
Thanks for watching, and have a great week.

how could you not know the scale 1/16? all advert indicates that scale and your unboxing sound was bad man way to low. Bradleys are almost the same size as an M-1. Just look at gulf war pics where Bradleys shined in combat along with M-1s

Hi! Actually I was right and tongde lied, it’s kind of 1/14.5 with a bit of 1/16th, it’s on a load of rc forums
That’s fine as long as they don’t state 1/16th, which they do, so there a naughty sausage for lying about the scale.
