Lovely haul, worth braving the rain. The train will be great for Christmas. When I first saw the lampshade I thought it looked a bit dusty, but cleaned it looks really good on the lamp. Lovely to see the kittens they always seem to enjoy getting involved :-)

Not to everyone's taste, admittedly, but they're still selling them in various online stores. * Wiki: Carlton Ware was a pottery manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent. The company is known for its tableware, often in the form of highly decorated leaves or fruit, and the ceramic toucans it made as promotional items for Guinness. It produced hand-painted domestic pottery in high art deco styles during the 1920s and 1930s.

I've got that train, I bought mine about 4 years ago from Clinton's, it's very festive when it's lit. My favourite thing you bought was those sharpies, you definitely got a bargain there, I've seen them in a stationers where I live, they where selling it for £11.99. Bargain 4 quid. The 'over the bath' rack was an absolute steal! Such a lovely quality item. The Emma Bridgewater Cannister is lovely, and again, another fantabulous bargain. My favourite things from the bootsale were the green pot, the Kilner jar, the Yankee Candles and the train. You need a rain hat so you dont have to juggle with an umbrella

Great finds! I think my favourite was the EB Joy tin (I have two matching side plates which look lovely with mince pies on at Christmas!) Theres a gorgeous Kathe Wolfahrt shop in York (next stop from Leeds on the train 😉) with the most amazing Christmas Pyramids! It's like an attraction in itself, just going around it!

The two little cat ornaments remind me of a similar pair I bought when visiting my son in Japan. I always have a stash of sharpies, enjoy using them too. The measuring spoons are lovely, with clear labelling what measures they are. My only gripe is as I have with my own set, with them being attached to each other, if I use one spoon the whole set ends up in the wash, not too bad if you are measuring powder, but something like tomato purée, or any paste, always spills on the the rest of the spoons. Bye kitties. X

Hi Mr C! Wow you really DID get some treasures. It would be hard to pick a favorite, I have a bit of an obsession with tins, so I did love that. Also the mug. The Sharpies were a steal, those are $20 in the U.S. It was good of Pumpkin to be a part of the vlog, always enjoy seeing the fur babies.

My favourite things from the bootsale were the green pot, the Kilner jar, the Yankee Candles and the train.
You need a rain hat so you dont have to juggle with an umbrella

We had one of those la lampshades back in the 70s! Ours was orangey-yellow. I loved the green plant pot - such good value, as they are so expensive now! Got to admire the stall-holder's stoicism in the rain. Thanks, Iwan, and the Kit-Cats!

Great finds! I think my favourite was the EB Joy tin (I have two matching side plates which look lovely with mince pies on at Christmas!) Theres a gorgeous Kathe Wolfahrt shop in York (next stop from Leeds on the train 😉) with the most amazing Christmas Pyramids! It's like an attraction in itself, just going around it!

Hi Iwan, beautiful shirt👍I always dent my cushions in the middle like you have done to the cushion on your sofa. Another great haul despite the weather. Mmmm I spotted a few things I would have bought. The green planter is perfect for your roof garden, beautiful green colour. Love the bathrack and tin for kitties treats. The two little cat ornaments remind me of a similar pair I bought when visiting my son in Japan. I always have a stash of sharpies, enjoy using them too. The Christmas train is a fab Christmas piece, looking forward to seeing it lit up in December. Take care Gale x

@@MrCarrington Hi Iwan, my son has been teaching English in Japan for six years. First in Okinawa and now Kyoto. I had the privilage of visiting him there. I learned so much about the culture and of course the food. He will be returning home in September to study for his honours degree. 🙏

The measuring spoons are lovely, with clear labelling what measures they are. My only gripe is as I have with my own set, with them being attached to each other, if I use one spoon the whole set ends up in the wash, not too bad if you are measuring powder, but something like tomato purée, or any paste, always spills on the the rest of the spoons. Bye kitties. X
