I ask sellers to hold items for me in their cars and then collect everything at the end! Uber is quick and easy in London! In the past I’ve called an Uber XL to get some furniture home that people were throwing out 😅👍
Dear. Mr. Carrington, there are many things I appreciate in your videos: diversity of contents (travels, booth sales and hauls which I love at most), your english so posh and elegant, the reasonable lenght/duration and, last but not least, your affection towards Pumpking and Mittens! Ps. It's a pity that travelling to the UK became so expensive! I'd love to visit London, where I worked for 2 years in the 70's, again.

The lanterns...so beutiful... the pots.... the hamper.... oh my!!!
I used to sell ceiling roses, as well as fire surrounds etc...take off your light fitting, yes drill a hole, use ceramic tile adhesive and screws. Use grout to fill the screw holes. Then use the grout to go around the edge. Paint . 😊... ( Got some lovely things, our car boots in Devon are not this good lol)

I would watch my Uncle making ceiling roses, coving, and so much more. He was a Master Plasterer. Some of his moulds were very decorative. Fascinating to watch how he created such Beauty.

Another tip re terracotta pots - if you put some polystyrene in the pot it helps prevent the pot(s) from cracking in the frost.
Wow! Didn't you do well this week at the car boot? I guessed quite a few things including the lamps, those are obviously good quality and I suspect cost a very pretty penny new, brilliant barg. Love those pots ((guessed you'd buy some of those too!!) That ceiling rose, yeah I would have picked that up too and thought you would get that. That shirt would go nice over the tee shirt you were wearing, very summery. Pumpkin in that basket with the straw bed, so sweet bless x Watch that cat grass though, cats like to eat grass to make them sick if they are having fur ball problems or upsets. I do love those Terracotta planters! I am an avid gardener and grower. So I know how much they are worth, they have age to them too. Love them! And the price!! WOW! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I am literally crying right now. Those plant pots cost an arm and a leg. I never get as lucky as you to find such a fantastic deal. Just wow. I would use the four for my herbs, sigh. Good score. Gets better. The F&M Hamper. Had a really good day for bargins Mr C.

Lots of nice goodies, but my favourite by far are the lanterns, such a good find!!
I have a thing for beautiful, ornate frames of all sizes, so I would have grabbed all of those adorable miniatures.

Love this haul, especially liked the beautiful glass Lanterns you got for your hall, the ceiling rose and the silk flowers 💐 I noticed that they all match the flowers on your sofa 😀 would look lovely altogether in a ceramic pot in your lounge. Loved the tericorra pots too 🪴
I love the silk flowers, the tall ones with flowers up the stem are hollyhocks and £4 is a bargain. To help with drainage with your lovely pots put some polystyrene in the bottom which makes the pots lighter so that you can move them more easily. The carboot was the best one by far and there were a few things I would have picked up too - the magazine rack and the basket.
I think those lanterns are older than you think because manufacturers tend not to use bevelled glass these days. You had some wonderful bargains . Horncastle is the junk shop capital of the world, I love noseying in the charity shops and junk shops there.
I love the F&M hamper( I mean cat bed). The flowers were a bargain, as were the lanterns and pots. You did so well getting all that home!

There were some seriously fab things at the carboot.I love overhearing the snippets of chatter & your shadow going over the stalls as you film & you go through those clothes racks like a pro…..my hubby loved every shirt you looked at 😂

London has the best boot sales - everything looks so vintage! Those tiny gold ornate picture fames with the bird illustrations were gorgeous 😍. And so glad you got the gold lanterns, they are lovely as well.

Drying herbs - a great way to dry herbs and retain scent is to put them in a paper bag in your fridge. Fridges naturally dehydrate things. My mistake I put a small paper bag of fresh rosemary in my fridge, forgot about it, it dried out but still smelled amazing.

The lamps are a seriously good buy but so are the pots the flowers and the F&M hamper. I saw a row of cat hooks and thought you might be tempted! The cats are clearly impressed with your bargains, lovely to see them.

Absolutely love the lamps - great find and price! Also the terracotta pots! I have a stool in the bedroom window for the dogs to look out and bark at the sheep in the fields!!
I’m glad you bought the ceiling rosette, they bring so much character to a room. The lanterns are beautiful, such a soft patina. The hydrangeas would be beautiful in your living room with your sofa. They may be ruined outside if they are silk.

Wonderful bargains especially the faux flowers. In a well known flower warehouse one hydrangea stem can cost from £4-£7 so you did extremely well.

I think your faux hydrangeas will look really good in the smaller less ornate one . Really enjoyed the footage, nice and relaxing after a mammoth decorating weekend . Just what I needed to unwind 👍

It was lovely to see the kittens. Pumpkin looked adorable in the Fortnum basket. They certainly loved the plants. Those faux flowers were an amazing bargain and they looked very good quality. I bet you wouldn’t even get one stem for £4.

I live in Windsor and a British couple started one here, every Sunday.

The ceiling Rose is a great score! When I saw it in the footage I just knew you were going to get it!
You can use the ceiling rose for decoration, if you run across an easel that can hold the weight it would look nice in the garden or by plants in your house.

Did you drive today Iwan that was some haul and I loved every item you saved a fortune. It was nice looking at all the stalls loved the stall that priced everything up. An extra section ....hopefully that means it will keep going as there is a demand for the boot sale 💗💗

If you like the white stuff on terracotta pots you should plant directly in them. It is the water, like in your kettle 😊. I think it makes them look really old and beautiful.
Loved the lanterns and the hamper; both great bargains! The Peckham Car Boot is definitely a cut above what we have here near Margate - reminds me of the Mediterranean boot fairs we used to go to with regular sellers and quality items
