Hi Karen,I don't know if you do this but add a small amount of mica to your fragrance oil and when your ready add it to your coloured wax...absolute game changer so satisfying to see the mica dance when it's melting. I love your videos 🙂
I recieved my first order at the start of the week, melted my first yesterday and wow... my oldest daughter thought my youngest one had been spraying perfume all over the house, then she found out it was me with a wax melt and was shocked as no other we have tried scented the whole house like yours did. Cant wait to order more!
Just a wee note on calculations for you're viewers: if you know the total weight you need ~ for example you have 6 bar molds that take 100g each to fill & you want your % to be 10. Take the total amount, so 600g ÷ 110% = 545.5g which is how much wax you need. Then 600g - 545.5g = 54.5g which is how much fragrance x And a wee tip for pouring ~ use a wooden skewer & put the tip where you want the oil to go & rest the skewer on the tip of your jug as you pour creating a path for the wax to follow. It also helps get every last bit of wax out the jug or oil out you bottle or container x
@@miriambaio5468 Its divided by 110% because that will give you the exact measurement you need. This only works if you know the weight that you need. Otherwise you would just divide by 10. So.. you need 600g in total.. divide by 110% for fragrance weight You have 600g of wax.. divide by 10 for fragrance weight

Could I ask, for the fragrance, I know I need to do 8-10% but I’m terrible at maths, should I weigh the melted wax in the container/jug on the scales so let’s say it’s 300g of melted wax, would I then add 30g of fragrance oil? Hi Jamielee, yes if you are using 300g wax, add 30g fragrance. NO, I don't wash up my jugs, I simply wipe them out with a paper towel to get any excess wax off the jug. Tiny scraps of leftover wax from your last fragrance won't make a noticeable difference.

Well done, Karen!! Just a curious question. Have you used silicone mold release spray, so that no bits stick to the molds? I tried a cotton ball with a bit rubbed around the mold, but the cotton didn't work well. Just kind of tired of little bits staying in mold, even after putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. Thanks for sharing. 💕💕💕💕

Are the eco flakes just as good as the beads? I absoultly love the colors and the glitter in those melts. Where did you get the molds? that would be very handy
Hi Karen, Absolutely love your channel. I’m in a wax group on Facebook and I followed your videos in regards to putting waxes in the freezer. Somebody came back to me on the page and said that I shouldn’t be putting my waxes in the freezer as it interferes with the CLP and also contaminates the food within the freezer, and if trading standards were to find out then there would be an issue. Is this true? I find my waxes come out of the mould better when they’ve been in the freezer! If I don’t put them in the freezer I loose the edges of my waxes! 😢
For 6 moulds, how long do you suggest leaving them to set for? Should I put them in the freezer to set or leave them in a cool dark space in the house? Thanks 😊
EdensSecret1 thank you, I made snap bars today I left them on my kitchen counter for an hour and then put them in the freezer for 45. They feel as if they’re melting but they aren’t if that makes sense? It’s kind of like they are flaking around the edges. Do you have any idea what’s caused this? And how I go about making sure they are totally solidified?

Hello.Im so thankful for your channel but I have a question. Why does it seem like some of my candles are scented and others are not.its coming from the same pour and batch? What am I doing wrong??
Ok... don't laugh... but I'd love to see how you clean your plastic jugs. I bought some with a great pouring spout, but their soooo difficult to clean since I can't throw them in a double boiler.
The glitter in the wax melts is not bio glitter, as this is not a rince off product, so no glitter will be going down the sink and into the water system. The glitter I use on soap is biodegradeable. Glitter was banned on rince off products. Once I've used up all my left over glitter all my glitter will be bio glitter. Thanks so much for asking.
The cellophane wraps are self adhesive, you just peel off the sticker covering the adhesive part,im not sure where the heat gun comes into it as this will simply melt the wrapper to the bar

I just wondered at the beginning you said the wax was 103 degrees celsius but have been advised not to let wax get hotter than 80, can you help me on this one please. I am using eco soy pillar blend.
Thanks for the tip on the pour temp , I have had problems getting frosting with this wax. I am guilty as well I got 10! Cost me a fortune to ship to the states! Tagged you on Instagram with my version, I do not add glitter. Thank you for sharing Karen you are a gem.
Hiya again Karen, Hope your well. Just a quick question, I'm using rcx wax from candle shack and adding fo at 65, cold throws not bad but hot throws none existent. As you know I'm new to all this, just wondering what im doing wrong? Could I try adding fo at 75 like you suggest to see if I get a decent hot throw?? Thank you in advance Xx
@@EdensSecret1 yes I've read about adding it too low and then heard at adding it at 180f is best as it allows the molecules in the wax to expand more to absorb the fragrance?! So much contradicting info out there my heads a shed!! Lol. Thank you ever so much for replying, your a 💫 Xx
@@EdensSecret1 thank you so much, I love your channel, I'm learning how to make wax melts and your channel is by far the best!! You have a new subscriber here!! Greetings from USA state of Pennsylvania
You say you need a certain amount of % fragnance in your wax how do you suggest to convert it to grams? ( i'm literally the worst in math) i can't find it nowhere in writing.
OK, if you are using 100grams of wax you need 10grams of fragrance, If you are using 500grams of wax then it would be 50grams of fragrance. 1500grams wax 150grams fragrance. However you don't HAVE to add 10% fragrance, you can add less if you wish to 8% on a 100grams would be 8grams, 6% would be 6grams and so on. Hope that helps hun xx
Hi Does anyone knows how can buy ecosoya q210 in the states? Or if some places from UK can ship it to the states? Have spent lots of money on different waxes for melts; and no one have worked for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your kindness
% has nothing to do with its own weight. It is a percentage of the weight of your wax. So if you had 100g of wax you’d use %10 fragrance. Same in Oz. You weigh your wax in lbs / oz and use 10% of that weight. It’s actually easier to work it out in grams because it is done in 100’s - so i’d weigh your wax in lbs and oz as you are used to, then google what that weight is in grams. 17.6 oz = 500g. 10% of 500 is 50 - so you’d use 50g of fragrance. Google says 50g = 1.76oz. So you see the amount of fo needed depends on the amount of wax you are melting down. I hope that makes sense?
I Thank You for your videos, and all your government information that everyone doesn't tell you. And can you please let me now what your website is I would love to try your wax melts as well as everything else you make. Thank you

Hi, how much fragrance do you use for 4cups of wax ? For super strong scent.
Hello.Im so thankful for your channel but I have a question. Why does it seem like some of my candles are scented and others are not.its coming from the same pour and batch? What am I doing wrong??
How do you wash the molds in between? Do you have to de scent them in some way?
If you watch my wax melt playlist you'll see me washing my moulds
I love the intro.. Did you get a drone?

Ok... don't laugh... but I'd love to see how you clean your plastic jugs. I bought some with a great pouring spout, but their soooo difficult to clean since I can't throw them in a double boiler.
Ha! I didn't wait long enough to comment! Heat gun... BRILLIANT!
Please trance late pound to once’s. If I have pound of wax how many ounces fragrance
1 pound is 16 ounces
Hailey Staker I know that I add two once’s fragrance per pound. But I wanted to know her pound to ounces.
I will do, info will be in the description box.
10% would be 1.6oz
Question, is the glitter you use biodegradable? I didn't see anything on the website you listed noting it.
When you wrap the snap bars with cellophane, how do you seal the cellophane rubber? Heat gun does not work on it. Please help?
The cellophane wraps are self adhesive, you just peel off the sticker covering the adhesive part,im not sure where the heat gun comes into it as this will simply melt the wrapper to the bar
Thank you this was very helpful
You need to check out bramble berry for there easy pour spout pour cups
I have some (not from Brambleberry I have the Vontero brand, look identical though) but I don't like them maybe I just need to get used to them more.
I know this fragrance was a custom one but do you have any suppliers that you recommend?

What size is the plastic jug you mix your wax and FO in? It looks like 2litres. I'm i right?
I just wondered at the beginning you said the wax was 103 degrees celsius but have been advised not to let wax get hotter than 80, can you help me on this one please. I am using eco soy pillar blend.
I’m not sure about that sorry but I think anything under a 100 will be fine Add your fragrance at 75 and pour just over 60 with this particular wax
@@EdensSecret1 thank you for the "immediate" reply which answered my question
Inspirational!
Thanks for the tip on the pour temp , I have had problems getting frosting with this wax. I am guilty as well I got 10! Cost me a fortune to ship to the states! Tagged you on Instagram with my version, I do not add glitter. Thank you for sharing Karen you are a gem.
Peighton's Place Soap Awesome thanks for the tag? Can't you get goldenwax in the States?
What wax do you buy? It just links to the website

Hiya again Karen,
Hope your well.
Apparently you can add fragrance at too low a temp, so yes try 75.
Don't put wax in freezer. It's cause cracking and stops scent release once melted.
Do you sell any wax melts EdensSecret?

@@EdensSecret1 thank you so much, I love your channel, I'm learning how to make wax melts and your channel is by far the best!! You have a new subscriber here!! Greetings from USA state of Pennsylvania
You say you need a certain amount of % fragnance in your wax how do you suggest to convert it to grams? ( i'm literally the worst in math) i can't find it nowhere in writing.
OK, if you are using 100grams of wax you need 10grams of fragrance,
If you are using 500grams of wax then it would be 50grams of fragrance.
I personally use the flaming candle's pro blend 650 it's a para-soy tart wax and I find it works pretty well c:
10% FO in oz?
I hope that makes sense?
really educational!! thank you for making this! :)
What is the strongest oil for making melts? Essential oils or fragrance oil???
I’ve found fragrance oils much stronger, personally!
I Thank You for your videos, and all your government information that everyone doesn't tell you. And can you please let me now what your website is I would love to try your wax melts as well as everything else you make. Thank you
