Don't leave us in suspense! Had you washed his trousers?! Great video! Thank you for sharing!
Yes I did
Men 🤣 need to learn to wash them themselves ahah! 🤣💕💕
@Agnes Mccamy I'm so sick of these incel bots. You're the same person. Stop being a loser and get a hobby.
I don't think you get enough credit. Not only do you provide detailed tutorial and recipes, but you are also so kind in your responses to questions. I can only hope you keep growing and thriving. And you have a beautiful home and I so enjoyed the last ride along.
I don't see recent content for you, I hope you're doing alright. :( I found you recently and love your content!! It's so relaxing!!
That’s exactly what my husband does. Have you washed his trousers ?! I could even hear you give a little huff as if to say ‘for goodness sake I’m recording!’ 😂😂
Your labels and packaging is gorgeous
When you want to add just a little bit of glitter you should try what Katie, from Royalty Soaps, does. She uses a make-up brush, like a blush brush, and just taps the handle! Another wonderful video Karen!!❤💕
The gold glitter makes them so beautiful. Where I am in the US (mid-west) we call them wax melts.
I could listen to you all night. Well I often do. I usually watch ASMR videos and your videos are a million times better , so calming and soothing and some lovely noises. You're ace!!
Hi Karen I think you may benefit from national shrink wrap system. It’ll do away w the different cellophane n bagas n wrapping/tapping..save u lots of time n steps I think.
Thank you Karen for a very informative and relaxing video. I especially love the part where you popped 2 wax pieces in the melter and put on the music, bliss! ❤️
Me, too! And I loved the crinkling cellophane
If you still haven't found out the soap supplier, I live in Orlando about 30 minutes from SeaWorld. I have an annual pass and I go often, the next time I go I will look for you and give you that information
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your videos!! I watch them over and over. You have such a passion for your work and have inspired me to start a wax melt business in the US. Bless you and your wonderful videos!! ❤️ You are such a lovely soul!
Centigrade is the old fashioned term that was used for celsius so they are the same!! That's what I originally was taught as well so don't fret!! 👍
Riiiiggghhhtttt! So was I, but, you dont hear anyone using it anymore.🤗
Lol..... I remember thinking at one point "what the heck is celsius, I thought it was centigrade, what are they going to call it next year?“ That was back when Canada converted!! It's just starting to sink in, I'm old!! 😂
Hi, just to let you know that celsius and centigrade are the same thing. So you are not wrong calling it centigrade. It was changed to celsius in 1948 because the word centigrade is a unit of one hundred degrees.
Another lovely, hypnotic, informative video. (I’m catching up as you’re quite prolific. Celsius and centigrade are interchangeable units of temperature measurement of the metric system; i.e., same metric unit of temperature with 2 interchangeable names.
I really enjoy your youtube channel.. ur honest and to the point. I am a newbie learning to make my own melts. Thanks so much for your information. I am learning so much.
Thanks for your comment x have fun learning
@edensecret1 use a blow dryer to seal the plastic tightly onto the candle. I insure your label will go on smoothly! Love the video…
Have you washed me trousers.? Love this lady
This is really inspiring! I’ve been playing around with making cute melts out of candles but I’d love to start making my own and even trying to create a business out of it. I have a lot to learn but this was a really great stepping stone. Thank you and I wish you all the best!
Oh hiiii I’m thinking about starting my own wax melt business👩💼 Did you end up starting your own?
@@kaylia5947 Sorry for the late response. I didn’t because I live with my sister ( that grew up with chronic migraines) and as it turns out, the smell of the candles triggers them 😩 I was so bummed. You should definitely do it though! I’d love to hear how it goes.
Hi Karen, i just love these... I call these shapes Melts, but here in Australia we have tiny little metal tart shapes, (more commonly used) so they are called Tarts. We can also buy the clam shells, which are limited, but I call those melts as well. That soap is made by Finchberry Soapery. Its in South Florida I think. My day is made when I get to watch and listen to your videos. 🥰🥂🤗
Hi Elyna, I see the difference now thanks
Love the wax melts! I’ve never tried pink sugar, but have heard a lot about it. Yes definitely Finchberry. I took pics of their soap at Sea World. They are also sold at Busch Gardens as well. 😊 Beautiful soaps
I checked out Finchberry and yes that looks like them, thanks so much xx
Bellessentials Handmade which wax melts are your favorite? New time buyer :)
I really enjoyed the relaxing music while the wax melted. And I actually dozed off during the wrapping - All that lovely crinkling. Thank you for this interesting and relaxing video!
Your waxes are beautiful! Thank you for teaching and showing - that is incredible of you.
I love the way you explain. So simple but detailed.
Try a pepper shaker next time for the glitter. Something with big holes, like for dried pepper flakes. Thats what i use❤
I’m new to wax melts but I found your channel and it’s by far the best :) I’ve learnt so much from you. Thank you
you are so generous sharing this information, been making wax melts and hope to start selling after losing job in lock down xx
thanks for your great video, by the way there is no difference between celsius and centigrade . Centigrade is the old fashioned word for celsius so both words are correct.
Absolutely love your videos Karen, I have a small candle business and you’ve inspired me to start my own RUclips channel ☺️ Thank you! 💕
cool ideas i will definitely have to try this . and i absolutely love your packaging for your wax melts ty for excellent ideas
I love your time lapse videos. Everything is in order and performed from start to finish and is very satisfying to watch when everything is gone to pot in the world. Thank you 🤗
Hi Karen, loved the video! Here in Kentucky we call them Wax Melts and I know in other parts of US they call them Tarts. As for Cure Time, I let mine cure for 72 hours. The science behind that is to allow the fragrance oil and the natural soy wax to better bond together, giving both a better cold and hot throw. I've done testing and that science does hold up. In fact, I cure my soy candles for a full week. I hope that helps! I adore your packaging, by the way!
Thank you so much Melissa for the scientific info
@@EdensSecret1 You're very welcome Karen!
Just perfect!!!! These are so beautiful, you never disappoint my friend
Karen you were sort of right with the Centigrade scale. The celsius scale was previously known as the centrigrade scale. It is named after the Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius (1701-1744) Since 1743 the Celsius scale has been based on 0 °C for the freezing point of water and 100 °C for the boiling point
Hi Karen! Another wonderful video. I truly enjoy your longer videos. I am not a fan of the music and fast speed but I understand why people make those type videos. I am so glad you posted this video because yesterday I was watching Ericia on RUclips from Memory Box Candle Co. and I found out something I didn’t know so I thought I would pass it on to you. I bet you already know this but still going to share with you, lol. There is a wax called Tart Wax TW-30 made specifically for wax burners and melters. TW-30 is one of the hardest waxes in consistency making it ideal for tart molds and other molds. It can also hold up to 18% fragrance loads! I haven’t made any tarts yet so I am not sure but I think that will make them smell much stronger? I hope this is good info for you. Also, your tarts look great with what you are using. Karen
I’ve always had better luck letting mine set up for a couple weeks. The fragrance seems to come through much stronger for me.
It is a bit of a learning curve wrapping them, they do tend to snap easily . But the results are worth it in the end. And like you said you can re-melt them with no product loss.
You are so detailed and neat. Perfect! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Thank for the membership Maribel
I just poured PCC from Nature's Garden yesterday!! Lovely scent. Your videos are so satisfying, great job!
I'm obsessed with making these . Pumpkin crunch is awesome I had that before. Apple pie I use too. I'm bad I make to sell and I have for me too. Lol 😂 I wanna try glitter so bad. I just now got into mica powder so pretty ☺️
Oh and I think you should do a video of how to clean those glitter molds🤣. All joking aside it's a great tutorial thank you x
you just wash. Its biodegradable
The suggested cure time for 494 is 2 weeks! It’s supposed to make the fragrance stronger from what I’ve read! Love your videos, I find them so relaxing!
Thanks for that info Kristy
It was centigrade when I was growing up and then changed to Celsius when my children were growing up!
I use shrink wrap bags, and my package sealer. Then I use a heat gun on low and it is perfect
I believe that the company that sells artisan soap at SeaWorld is FinchBerry Soapery.
I call them snap bars. I love your videos I've just started making wax melts making my way through your videos! Xxx
I can’t find the molds anywhere !?! Where from please
@@sportonisabella6825 amazon or ebay
What wax do you use for these please xx
Is it Florida Soap Company??? I searched the Internet for artisan soap at Sea World in Orlando, and that’s what came up. Hope this helps a little?
Lol looks like Christmas all that glitter 😊
Karen have you washed his trousers 🤣❤️
I know that some people on RUclips say they get embarrassed when that sort of thing happens, but I love it. We’re all humans after all, and we all need pants lol.
Courtney Osborn swing your pants 🤣
KB Soy Wax Melts UK Wax melts lol
Hey hey, Celcius and Centigrade are actually the same. Centigrade is just the more oldfashioned term for it. I love watching your videos 💕
Thanks Robyn, that's what I thought.
when using glitter, try a make up brush. it picks up the glitter and you an avoid a mess.
Hi. To find the name of the company. You could just Google the name of the shop you saw it in and call them and ask. You made my day with this video. Very informative. I will be starting my wax melt and wax burners company this weekend.
Hey Karen hope you are well. I really like you’re labels you use for your snap bar wax melts I went on the label website you provided but ones is it you use?
Karen you do such beautiful work!
I bet they smell amazing and love the glitter idea, I am definitely going to try the glitter idea. I have been making wax tarts for 2 days now.
Hope you are enjoying
Have you weshed me trousers....cant get more Cumbrian than that 😂
100%
Hi there, I watch something everyday. It is relaxing and inspiring for me. Good work.
Have you washed his trousers 😂😂
I did wash his trousers xx
Your videos are so soothing to watch! 💗💗💗💗
Enjoyed this immensely!! Love the cute little voice. Gave me a chuckle 😄 💕
Looks like chocolate, with it's beautiful packaging
LOL, Centigrade is just the old term for Celsius. You are just as correct so do not worry on it I LOVE your melts and even enjoy rubbing them on my hands since you use soap grade fragrance. They smell heavenly💖Jen
Did you wash the mans trousers though?
LOL I heard that, too.
Absolutely beautiful Karen 👌💕we call them melts... Thanks for sharing!
I’m new to making wax melts I am enjoying it even though sales are slow x
Hi there, just found your video today.....really enjoyed it...I originate from London UK and am currently in North Dakota USA. Still have a lot of family in London and Kent. Can you tell me what size labels you use for the full size wrap around wax melts? Thank you in advance. Very new to this candle & melt family, but do use Online Labels, in the USA of course.
Centigrade is another term for Celsius. Both are correct.
Got my order today well chuffed will definitely be ordering again so impressed xx
If you get a wee pin and gently pop it through the backing, and lift it off, it works a treat xx
I am having so much trouble with my melts. I use tart melts soy wax. And im having problems with my scent throw while hot. It doesn't have a strong smell at all. Unless you walk up to my warmer. I need help knowing when to add the fragrance. I think that's the problem. Love your vids.
Thanks for sharing. This is a great in depth video. I love watching how others do their melts. I do have a question though, how do you work out your retail and your wholesale prices so that you actually make a profit? This is the one part that confuses me the most. Thanks.
Here is how I do it not sure how she does but the formula for whole sale is your cost x2 and for your retail it's your cost x4
Could I ask how much wax did you use in each jug and also how much scent please xxx
As a general rule of thumb in candle making, the easiest formula i use and learned from candle science RUclips channel, is 1oz of fragrance per 1lb of wax. Thats a 6% fragrance load. Its pretty safe formula for all waxes. I use soya wax for tarts.
those moulds hold 300g of wax. I'm in UK and use these moulds myself and i use 300g of wax and 30g of oil. There is usually some left over so i use that for samples.
Excellent instructional video 🙏🏽
Awe lovely, It's nice that you can use normal glitter in melts as they don't go into the drain, unlike your soaps where you use biodegradable? Xx
Great way to use up any left over cosmetic glitter that is not bio.
I enjoyed your video! I find your aesthetic and voice very soothing. And that glitter is gorgeous! Going to subscribe to your channel now! :-)
LOL, I loved that voice near the end, made me giggle 🧡
Hey Karen, Love the cellophane wrap you used, can I ask where you got it from? It’s exactly what I’m looking for thickness wise x
Hello, Karen! I am absolutely loving your videos! You have such a way of settling nicely into one's heart! Please, don't ever change? I do have a question: what size cello sheets do you use when you cut them into thirds to wrap your wax melts? There are so many sizes to choose from. And, have you ever considered using shrink wrap bags instead of the cello? Thank you for just being you, Karen!
Where do you get your lovely labels from xx
I just ordered some of your soaps and the pink sugar melts! Can’t wait to try them. Love your website ❤️
You could perhaps also break off 1 piece of the 3-part sample, do this also with a second 3-part sample, and combine the 2 x 1 pieces in an extra sample
I make wax melts but still enjoy watching others:) beautiful x
Thanks Shonilea what a beautiful name
I love these. The glitter is gorgeous 😍
Think you are amazing and after watching your videos I’ve made some and they smell divine! Thanks so much from sunny Lowestoft 💕
I just had my three moulds arrive today in Australia. Look what you started!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh No Kayla x
i love the way you package them! its so lovely
C Larrabee thank you so much for letting me know :)!!
What wax holds the most fragrance? I think you said pillar of bliss holds 30% oil. I forgot to put it in my notes
love the background comments. wanted to know where you get your mold from for your melts, thank you
Thank you for this video!!! Very fun and informative video
I use 100% plant based cellophane --- I love it. I glue it together with vegan glue or tie up my stuff with raffia
Thank you so much for your videos. I learned a lot from them.
I think the tarts are round made in silicone cup cake molds.
Usually people let them cure so the oil set really good with the wax for a stronger and longer hot throw.
Melissa Ekis thanks for letting us know xx
@@EdensSecret1 you're welcome. When I get a wax haul (order) that has just been poured. I usually let it cure for at least a month to get a very good hot throw that last a long time.
Hi I'm new to wax melts your videos are fantastic I've learned so much 🙂 could you tell me were to get your snap bar moulds please
Probably a silly question, and forgive me if you said, but does the glitter dissolve as the wax melts? If not does it come clean from the warmer easily? Thank you for your videos!
I was worried about this too, so i tested it. I have a candle company in the us and the only glitters i use are foil glitters, like the golden glitter she has. You cant use plastic glitters in a burner. Sometimes the glitter comes out when you pop the used wax out, and sometimes you need a napkin.
Oh and another soap company that sells soap, handmade at Seaworld is called Finchberry
Thank you so much, so so much
Hi I really enjoy your videos, they have been so helpful. Can I ask a question, I use the small heart shaped moulds, I'm finding the melts have started losing their glossy finish, but I'm unsure why. TIA Kerrie x
I call mine Wax Melts 😊
Se ve tan facil en tus manos....... congrats 🎉 ever
Where do you get your fragarance
Gorgeous thank you for sharing
I have looked everywhere for those moulds cant get them here in Australia Amazon want to charge me $40 then another $40 shipping just for 1 mould unbelievable
And your exchange rate is so high too
@@EdensSecret1
yeah sure is , oh well guess I will have to try figure something else,
Thank you for all the videos you put up i marathon watch them lol i have learnt so much from you,
Very much appreciated 🌹
Check on AliExpress. They will definitely have some molds for cheaper and usually with little to no shipping fee.
