BOS looked like the 2022-2023 version of the wildcard NYI - low scoring, physical games, dependent on defense and goaltending. Glad to see Lindholm score. Can see signs of an identity again. Nice if they can get on a heater and gain confidence through continued aggression on offense with shots on net with hopefully, some puck-luck, esp. on the PP. Doesn't look like they're in a malaise; mentally present with some signs of urgency. They need to keep this up and not yo-yo like the first 20 games and build on this moving forward.
Definitely a good matchup to put things into perspective. So much to be done but this is a nice step in the right direction. Korpi has his 2nd SO, and I feel like I'm one of the few that's blowing it up! I'm still waiting on some trades... Friction exists in that room, and Monty probably wasn't the biggest abrasion.
Lets go Bruins !!!! Now build from that ! Be patient and all will fall back into place. Don't become desperate ! Yes we will hit a few pipes and a few near misses. Just keep your chin up and do what you guys know best !!! I have all my faith in you !!!! All the way from South Africa !!!!! That's game 1 under the belt !!!!
Tonight, the B's looked better than they had in ages. They were locked in from the start. They hustled after the puck like hounds and did not look as slow as some think they are. For once, they were getting in the way of the other club instead of it being the other way around. It wasn't a 60-minute effort as they resorted to gliding around in the third which allowed the UHC to bring the play to them, but their form was light years ahead of recent weeks. Probably Lindholm's best game as a Bruin and not because he finally scored. As he said he needed to be, he was more INVOLVED. McAvoy looked decisive with the puck, he didn't muck about with it when on his stick and he was creating plays. Zadorov played a tidy game in that he was efficient in what he did, even in that journey he took deep into Utah's end. Once he gave up possession, he hustled back into his position. Can't have a game without him taking someone out hard into the boards. UHC's Vejmelka was strong in their goal, but Korpisalo made Boston's one goal stand up making some big stops. The Bruins are lucky to have this guy. I liked how this club now has more players who can be ornery when they need to be. They've won games earlier this year so It's a wait and see if they've truly reset their mentalities. Looked like it tonight. We'll see on Saturday.
The Bruins played a lot better and looked like they actually gave a damn. Congrats on your 1st win Coach Sacco. Make 'em score more goals okay? Go Bruins.
This was an unimaginative workmanlike boring 1-0 W versus an expansion team. No great shakes. Much room for improvement. Let’s hope it’s the last 1-0 Bruins Win of the season. Shout out and respect to Joonas Korpisalo’s effort. Take note Swayman!
To be honest, I prefer the uglier NYI style games to the typical 3-2 or 4-3 games; and I think, given our forward group, that we can only win when our defense plays a stifling game
They still suck. 1 for 7 on the PP (including an empty net PP that they couldnt score on). They got lucky tonight. Oh yeah big bad 7-12 Utah. They scored a whole goal too. 🤭Wait till they play a real team.

This was my first ever Bruins game!!! So happy they won. 😊
Great game to go to
Coming from a goalie 😂

Although Sacco led* the B’s to the win I still miss Montgomery
You mean "led" the B's :-)
I miss Monty too
He "leaded" them to the win?
@@pavelvodov1516 my bad i have bad grammar
When I began questioning Montgomery and his coaching was 2 years ago when they set the record for wins and failed so miserably in the playoffs!
Being Monty back!!
Much respect for 65/12/5…Montgomery’s legacy piece of work…
The Bruins played a lot better and looked like they actually gave a damn.
Congrats on your 1st win Coach Sacco.

Congrats Joe.

Let’s goooo
big shoes to fill, here for it.
It’s a win they needed but let’s see what happens with a stronger team.
The way that the NESN broadcasters say "Merkulov" is not the correct Russian pronunciation. Unless that's how he wants it said, they should change it.
Nobody cares about the Russian proper pronunciation
@@Asymmetrical-Sagginfacts hahaha
This is not the KHL get over it
That Utah lefty goalie played lights out he finished with a .968 save percentage and got the L you don't see that often!!!
Montgomery was good but after awhile players won't listen something will have to change

@Asymmetrical-Saggin Little johnny? Is that you?!? I just meant to go out for smokes, I'm sorry.
Embarrassing!"1-0?.... numerous PP's ... at home... 1-0?.. ridiculous! Start trading big names!
NJ won a cup playing a boring trap offense, the Bruins with their size and defensive brand of hockey look like it could work for them.
They still suck. 1 for 7 on the PP (including an empty net PP that they couldnt score on). They got lucky tonight.

Vejmelka played out of his mind. This could have been a 5or6-0 game. They actually played like a hockey team. It's progress.
Unfortunately it won't last if they keep swayman
