Well he’s right! I’ve been shooting for over 20 years now. Shot a lot of guns. These are basically Sig’s 228/229 for people who don’t want to spend $850 on a good one… Nearly as tough and reliable as a USP or 92FS, with maybe a slightly better trigger than the former…and maybe slightly less accurate than the latter…but less than half the price of both! Also have a lot of options not mentioned in the video, such as how it comes with an optional safety which can replace the decocker, so it can be carried like a 1911. The fact that MANY other guns mags will actually run in it. And also, the fact that the Omega trigger system actually gets lighter and easier over time… The thing is awesome and yeah CZ builds affordable guns for war, not for fun. Although, he’s right, this gun does accomplish the best of both! With the right holster I have had no problems using this as my EDC, and concealing even under a regular shirt. The only thing I would recommend is getting some better sights for it. It’s the only weak aspect of the gun imo. The stock sights are passable, but not great. Swap them quick for some nice Tritium sights from Night Fision or Trijicon! 👍 Also wanted to add that I think I’ve crossed the 1,000rd benchmark, and the only malfunction I ever had was on the 2nd mag I ever fired out of it. Could have been ammo, or just breaking in. It was a feed jam. Since then, NOTHING. Hope it stays that way!
Got mine in bay st louis Mississippi 7 months ago from Best Pawn for $450.00 cam with 3 mags a holster And a Uplula loader. i am extreamy happy with the purchase. It was a used gun but it is the final version of the 07's used was not a concern because the gun is built like a tank. Spring kit going in soon.
I own a p10c and a p07. same mags and both are great shooters. CZ updated the P07 design and changed the model # to P09C which is optic ready with I believe the k footprint, different texturing and slide serrations and a better slide stop lever which will fit the P07.
Paid full boat at my lgs but I love the gun. It’s been flawless over 1000 rounds. Easy to field strip and clean. Will eventually get a Shadow 2 Compact as I love the platform.
Oh yeah that’s my go to carry. I’ve got the tactical comped and its a shooter. Winter carry beast and you can always get the Cajun gun works trigger upgrade (mine was $580 back when it came out)
I bought the Nocturne C ($500) a couple months ago. Basically the same gun as P-07 but optics ready and better grip texture. AN optics ready G19 is $640 and you need to dump another $200+ on a trigger and sights to equal the stock P10c OR @ $430 out of the box. CZ is a no brainer unless you absolutely love the Glock grip angle.
Awesome pistol. Currently my edc, got some slide milling done on mine. SRO, with Dawson back ups. Dovetail recut to except Glock sights. Also they do have a safety in the box to switch out the decocker to run it cocked and locked. I prefer to run it decocked. I got around 4k rounds in mine. It’s awesome that the mags are compatible also with P10C
I picked up an urban grey p07 tactical (look it up, it’s pretty awesome looking) a few years back. It has won the honor of my favorite gun. Everyone who shoots it wants it as well lol.
Thanks for the review. I carry the P07 and have for 3 years. I prefer the DA/SA. If anyone could decock themselves, it would be me. I really enjoy this gun. It ia by far the most reliable pistol I own. And it fits like a glove, with Medium strap. Only thing I could say is that the texture on the grip with something to be desired. P07 🔥 P09c 🗑️
You would carry it at half cocked so it takes up some of that double action pull. This is one of my favorite pistols I own. Comes with nice night sights that are very similar to what’s on this pistol. It’s a tank of a pistol super reliable. I agree it’s a little big for carry it’s more a duty pistol in my book. It’s not really discontinued there just calling it the p09c
Don’t dry fire that thing too many times. You will break the firing pin. Use a rubber o ring to dry fire so the hammer does not hit the striker. Unless you upgraded the firing pin go ahead. Love this gun.
Its a great gun that shoots smoothly and is accurate. Your version has upgraded sights, but that is its weak point. The reset is a bit long, but its butter soft and ultra reliable. Totally worth $400
So they discontinued it because they made a new version called the P09 Nocturne. Think this would be considered the compact model of that now from CZ. I want this, a P10S, and a CZ 75 type as well 😅. Hope I could handle this as I have smaller hands.
Bro I am the smallest dude I know and can count on one hand the number of guys I've encountered who are smaller than me... obviously this means my hands are tiny as $hit...I own too many CZs and can tell you your hands will love this pistol... I'm not a trigger snob bc I grew up in a culture where the shooter adapted to the gun but I did eventually upgrade my springs with the mcarbo kits and polished my pistols... Get one! I randomly found a Rami in a shop as my first CZ thinking my hands would be too small, even tho I've shot full size firearms my entire life lol... Now when I buy a pistol, getting a striker fired one is almost like downgrading and getting anything NOT CZ is like buying a toy... The inside rails, low bore axis, and just feel of their hammer fired pistols can't be beat...I grew up with Glocks and getting a CZ was almost like I'd finally become a grown ass man with grown ass tastes... Not talking smack about other manufacturers but there's a reason why Glock and CZs are the most cloned guns...I used to see "clone of the CZ 75" and wonder what was up with manufacturers cloning them until I finally got one... My P07 is my workhorse, especially after polishing and replacing springs, my Rami is my baby CZ and my P01 Is my robocop gun lol
I got 3 good handguns. A FN510. Cz P07. And a Springfield hellcat pro comp. The cz is without a doubt. A nail tacker. I also got the old one in the start of summer before they discontinued it. I prefer it however over the new one.
Wow they discontinued it??? That is sad! Get one while you can, I’m not sold on the newer version at all… Also, I wanted to let anyone who has one know that you can run Canik TP9 mags in it as well. The only caveat is that the slide won’t lock back on empty, so keep that in mind! But yeah, being able to just slap a 20rd mag in it without any modifications is awesome, and you can find Canik mags everywhere! I’m sure there are other mags that will also run in it. If anyone knows of others please reply in the comments!
ITs seems to not really be reliability issues but user issues. Most of them tracing back to red dot screws or hand placement on the slide stop. Also Glock Gen 4 did happen......
I like my p07 , they discontinued because nobody understands the beauty if a da/sa and why i got mine new for about the same price your buddy bought that used. I absolutely love da/sa triggers, some morevthan others just like striker guns
I have owned one for about six years. Not a single problem with it. My eye sight is going so I am thinking about getting the new optics ready model but I don’t really want to get rid of the one I have . Tough decision.
I had Cajun Gun Works cut my P07 for an optic. Ran a little over $200 and took about a month. It's a cheaper option than buying an entirely new gun and you get to keep the one you love. Just a thought.
Honesty. It’ll be cheaper to get it cuz and put a dot on it. Honest outlaw reviewed the new P-09c and it was a jam machine. Looks like the P-07 was the goat
They come sith a saftey in the box and you can absoulty run them cocked and lock resd the manual in the box it tells you yow to use the omega trigger and swap the saftey into the gun ..
@@raypaget815i saw the honest outlaw review for nocturne and...cz got some work to do. I wont be getting the nocturne until they address and fix the issue.
You’re obviously a Glock fanboy, so any credibility you had at the start of the video is GONE. You know why Glock never has any reliability issues…because no one leaves the stock parts in long enough. You guys swap everything out but the serial number then you really can’t call it a Glock anymore!! Let’s not forget to be fair Glock has been around since 1982 and when they came out they were not well received they did indeed have issues. However, those issues have been worked out and no new ones have occurred…BECAUSE GLOCK IS THE LEASTBINSPIRED COMPANY OF ALL TIME AND HAVE DECIDED TO HAVE NO PARTICIPATION IN INNOVATION. You know what’s really funny is how Glock takes credit for the whole polymer/striker fired thing and they were late to the game. H&K with the VP70 (1970) was the first polymer handgun released in 1972. And the striker fired mechanism was done in 1893 and patented by John Moses Browning. It was the Hugo Borchadt C-93 (1893) that was the first striker fired gun And the H&K VP70 was released a whole decade (1970) before Glock and was a striker fired pistol AND POLYMER!! So Glock, with their crappy sights, grip angle, and blocky and ridiculously unergonomic design can go pound sand.
I paid $400 for it Spn!
There ya go! Even better! And supposedly you can run it cocked and locked. It comes with a safety in the box I guess! How’s the 27?
@@spnfirearms yeah I can change it just like my 75 you can put the safety in! 27 is great so far!
Honest Outlaw says it's one of the best pistols he has ever owned. Its a go to war gun. 🔫
That's one of the reasons why I got mine.

CZ is where it's at👌
The CZ P07 has the Omega trigger system. It can be swapped from a decocker to a safety, with the safety it has to be carried cocked and locked.
Definitely keeping my p07 for life and p01
Paid full boat at my lgs but I love the gun. It’s been flawless over 1000 rounds. Easy to field strip and clean. Will eventually get a Shadow 2 Compact as I love the platform.
On another note I’m running the OWB Urban Carry lock leather holster and it’s phenomenal for this gun.

CZ P07 Omega Tactical is amazing imo and a keeper.
Mine is new and never fired 2nd gen
Fiber optic front sites and all black combat rear.
W/trigger job

I thought the P10 was not compatible to the other CZ mags , different cut on the Mag
I just got a CZ75 Compact to complement my CZ P10F. Great shooters. The 75 Compact has no recoil.
Don’t dry fire that thing too many times. You will break the firing pin. Use a rubber o ring to dry fire so the hammer does not hit the striker. Unless you upgraded the firing pin go ahead. Love this gun.

Not my handgun my man! Didn’t see it in the box and I have never read a manual in my life! Respect
Glock had quality problems with the G42, G25 and G28, even with the first G43.
I imagine it’s because they came out with the P09c Nocturne
Best pistol I own .
Deals, deals, deals. I could not find the CZ P07 so purchase a sig sp2022, but still want one.
One day you’ll review the YC9 Yeet Cannon. I know you will and I am just waiting.
I don't think they've been discontinued.
Shame they discontinued it because I’ve heard the Nocturne SUCKS.
The Nocturne 9 C is same gun with a few updates/improvements, including optic ready. Not a “new” firearm.
Na man it’s been good. Running the P 09 F. Loving it so far.
@@raypaget815i saw the honest outlaw review for nocturne and...cz got some work to do. I wont be getting the nocturne until they address and fix the issue.
I think some of the issue has to do with a screw for the red dot being too long and interfering with the inner works of the pistol.
Whatchu said?
I love my po7 just bought a po9 way better than a Glock
