I think the part you were underestimating on the super mines in the back is how much constant dps the explosions from old mines hitting their timer would do to the stuff just coming in.
iirc the damage from the spikes running out of pierce is the same as it timing out, so it would’ve been better to be in the middle anyways for the mini explosions from a bloon hitting the mines and to cover more of the map

@@tadpole9264 I don't remember the exact stats tbh but the mines getting pierce capped still does a lot more than the mines getting timed out

its because the center mines is the worst possible location you could put that. Supermines should be at the start of the track to maximize utilization of its explosion pierce and the duration of its 500dps incineration dot. That or if you have no other T5 spike factories, put it in the back to prepare for emergency BADs

Challenge idea:
Only use towers that could directly affect other towers placements.
Towers would be middle path ice and top path boat as they create platforms for other towers to be built on.
Middle path heli as they move towers around.
Top path super as the temples get rid of the towers in it's radius
Adora would be the hero then

The mines at the back is not as terrible an idea is you believ it to be, if you can get them to pile up to the point their timer runs out then they will start to explode, essentially creating a very powerful mortor focused on that spot.
This was truely a "💀☠" moment

They changed how the Hook-In Achievement is gotten. Instead of counting all MOAB layers of a MOAB class bloon, it now only counts the top most layer.

Yeah same can someone input the numbers? Because i'm still using the tack zone and it doesn't seem that bad. How badly did it get nerfed?
I am pretty sure that the crosspath of the Spiked Mines was wrong because the spikes don't disappear at the end of the round and the bottom crosspath lengthens the lifespan of the spikes it makes the spikes last really long, just like in Battles 2. Either past you playing apopalypse on a different video was wrong or present you playing apopalypse is wrong.
I like to to top path on my necromancer wizards because it makes them get a bigger grave yard much faster but going middle is good for killing leads but top path can see over walls and bolt has 2 damage

actually, back supermines is probably the best spot because they get to expire and explode for massive dmg, rather than being consumed immediately
The problem with having them in the back is that it might miss out on some DOT damage
