- Can I Survive Using ONLY The Eye? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - the recent Polythemus map has an eye which gives a plethora of buffs but at the expense of closing every 10 rounds. We're going to see how long we can last inside that eye.

everytime ISAB says "FLAVORED" trades, I keep second guessing myself and checking if I've been reading Favored Trades wrong. LOL
When I started playing on 2020 I actually misread and called it Flavored Trades for a while.
Only realized it was Favored because ISAB talked about comments that were annoyed of Flavored.
Edit: I am native Spanish so I really didn't register it didn't make sense.
I choose to believe that grape shot crosspath makes makes favored trades become grape flavored trades

Its really funny that for pricey towers, using the Eye is actually mor efficient than placing them normally. With the discount TSG had, it was more than how much opening the eye costs trough the whole run, or at least pretty close. And there is the discount in the other towers too.

To be fair, that is something that could only be stopped by placing her in a bad position where she would be less effective, so it's not the end of the world.
Also, it doesn't necessarily make the challenge any less valid since those mines themselves are not towers. I personally think it's similar to if you did a dark castle castle roof/ledge only challenge and used a spike factory. The spikes are not the tower, so it does not make the challenge any less legitimate.
The reactor range in the end is insane
When you upgrade to the boat paragon, the towers on the carrier flagship are moved to the paragon, so no need to sell them. Also, boat paragon gains a 3rd tower spot on top of the T shaped tower, on the small hexagonal shape.

Thank you isab for popping those pesky balloons by only using water towers and only placing the towers in the eye on this specific map while the eye closes every few rounds with the price going up every few rounds

But I think I would've used a perma brew on the platforms of the Carriere Flagship (Im not sure about the name lmao) so it doesn't take that much pops for the paragon and buffs like every towers
Maybe it wouldn't have gone as far as the RoD tho

@@longbow6976 unfortunately, as you've seen, anything standing on ice platforms get sold when the eye closes every 10 rounds. So building paragons in there would be such a waste of time and money.

Hey ISAB, i actually did this one first try when the map came out. On round 54 and 56 i had to pay the r56 price, completed chimps with it and it was very fun

Challenge Idea: CHIMPS but you can only buy an upgrade if it costs less than the total pop count of the tower.

I would have done perma brew, since it would buff all your ships so much.
Could’ve made more space with another carrier flagship and squeezed another couple of towers, or put perma-brew on the navarch or another flagship platform and get an anti-bloon or smt, otherwise, good run 👁sab

11:19 If you dont sell the towers on flagship carrier it moves to the paragon not destroyed so there is no point in selling them.
I have an idea for a fun challenge: Dark Dungeons but each you can only use a single path per segment of the map (Left part is top path, middle part is middle path, right part is bottom path)
Could you do the same challenge but in chimps? The cost of the eye was never a problem here.

if there was room for like a signal flare or blooncineration to defortify this wouldve gone for soooo much longer
The eye closes at every round ending with the number 6 (hence the 6 in roman numerals)
I think I would have bought Perma-brew and Super Brittle/Cripple to maximize the Boat Damage for paragon degree, but seeing as how you got degree 60 anyway, it probably didnt matter.
I also think that it may have been possible to push a few more rounds if instead of removing the trees, you went for a Dart Paragon after the Navarch/TSG The Trees would keep the Spike balls caged to do huge DPS. With the Trees gone, trying to get an Ace or Boomer paragon may have bought you a few more rounds.
Fitting an ACE might be hard, but I was surprised he didn't try for it

I think there's definitely a way to get round 300 or at least a higher round while doing this challenge if you use Ezili as the hero and maybe try to fit some more paragons in. Ninja is an easy one to get pops for and if you get the temple a little later you can probably fit an ace paragon in and then do a ninja or Ezili on the boat and maybe fit a low degree boomer or engi paragon on the ice platform if you have some room after getting the temple's buffs placed. Either way it was a good video and the eye's mechanic is fun even if I don't really like this map that much
If you pic Ezili, you will have to place her only in late game, since you can only use a 5-x-x boat for it
@ThiagoGlady yeah that's okay tho since you only really need ezili for the late game and can farm more efficiently so you will have more cash later on. And even if you get her later you can always buy levels on her if you need to and can buy and resell her to reset her moab hex cool down with the extra funds

It’s a bit roundabout, but you could place non water based towers in the eye by placing a 0-3-0 or above ice tower on the carrier flagship, it allows for more non water based towers

I think you could gone further with a second paragon, yes i heard the part where you said they are less important when not on bosses but still.

Theres a glitch with this map where if you load an impopable or chimps game and press restart at the start of the game, you can place water towers in the eye permanantly

Sacrificing a Support temple for your Magic on the Sun God is the most optimal play since it discounts the True Sun God even more. Didn't matter much obviously but good to know for when it matters

You could have placed one more carrier flagship for 2 more small tower spots beside the paragon ones.
