- I Beat 2 Towers CHIMPS With The Nerfed BEAST Handler! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - with a new tower comes new tower duo combinations that can beat CHIMPS, and after the 36.1 update I decided to try it with one of the towers being heavily nerfed! Or rather bug fixed, but see if the now weaker great white can ride along a giant aircraft for a 2TC completion.

For anyone who wants further details of the bug: The tick rate for the thrashing was bugged for 3xx and above to be 0.02s instead of 0.33s.
Funny thing, I feel like the bugged Megalodon didn't even feel too broken. A bit too strong for sure, but it felt more "balanced" for its price. Of course, 3xx and 4xx had no business having that power, but I honestly think 5xx could keep most of that unintended power without much issue. After all, it effectively costs ~140k in Medium prices, which is essentially a Super Mines.
I think the t5 was fine as long as it didnt 1 shot bads, that should be something only paragons have access to
Especially since the megalodon can hook in bads anyway. There's not too much of a difference in power at that point, since it only shreds past 150.
considering how affective tier 5 was at even minimum power, i think they would still have to nerf it. not how it is now, but definitely at least a 50% dps nerf. (it already one-shots BADs, so the 200k dps seemed a little excessive (personally)
A SUPPORT tower that costs less than 200K and can insta kill round 200 BADs and elite bosses is broken asf, also a tier 4 that could delete a FZOMG and give over 2K

Seeing the big plane price nerfs (know it's been several updates) is crazy. 50K extra, Lotta 2TC and general Chimps options for it

0-0-0 is literally better than a 1-0-0 in every way possible for beast handler, it is insane how much of a nerf it is to him, he goes from 4 pierce to 1 for literally 0 upside

Heck, it's already pretty solid on T3s and above without even touching the targeting options more than once a round.
I definitely think the Trex would work with some other towers for a 2TC strategy, it seems very strong for a tier 4.
Yeah the beast handler isn't great for 2tc, especially since you need at least 4 to get any of the tier 5s, and a single one is at its best with multiple even on tier 4, but they're pretty nice for 2MP since you can disable towers by merging and hiding the damage dealer away from the track, so you can even do harder maps without water as a sub is no longer a requirement for something that can carry early game and then be made non-damaging.
U can 1tc with beast handeler if u allow the use of other handlers to boost your main 1, but thats not a true 1 tc ig , it would be more like a 100% pop challenge, would be fun to see u try it.

I did it with 520 beast handler, which is still the latest one.
The other Beast Handler All Pops Chimps, that have been done, are:
Giganotosaurus,
Velociraptor,
Tyrannosaurus Rex,
Pouākai,
and Orca.
The Beast Handlers who dont have an All Pops Chimps are:
Great White,
Giant Condor,
Golden Eagle,
and Base Beast Handler (Tier 2 and under)

The funny thing is, the beast handler can pull in a level 149 fbad, but dies to a level 150 normal bad 😆

Yeah so I first tried orca pod 2tc within an hour of the update while afk. 120k to spare. Def a deserved nerf but maybe too harsh.
what if you tried bottom path mortar and middle path beast handler? and also what about top path mortar and bottom path beast handler?
Blooncineration T-Rex dies to 98 cause it is too long to oneshot all the cerams with the ability.
Biggest one and Giant Condor die to camo leads on r59. maybe earlier if it cant solo camos.

The ISAB plane is the most frequently used 2tc tower. No wonder it is, it's called the ISAB plane
15:42 if you look at the moabs, one is slowed down while the others aren't, but why? Shouldn't the great white slow only when he is bitting them? I didn't know it applied permanent slow, I'm guessing it's a bug? Anyways does it stack with moab glue? 👀

I think they should revert or mostly revert that change for the 5xx because he feels really weak now and a giant water bound tower that can’t be used in some maps aswell as costing around 150k I think they should make him stronger again

I still think it's completely fair that they debuffed the top oath due to bugs that they didn't have in their builds. Bugs can be caused by the absolutely stupidest things like just compiling your build, which happened to me years and years ago on a very basic android app made for a coding class in highschool.

Some times when I die on the same round I turn off fast forward, and it works.

didnt do any 2tcs with beast handler, i managed to pull off a 2mil pops on frozen over with giga tho lol, and after that, I greatly agree with your sentiment about money, as 95 was an absolute pain due to heavy micro, cause i didnt get giga in time due to accidently placing the glue gunner outside of village range .. that one mistake caused me such a heartache lol... (ill also admit im stupid for using another village to increase my village range instead of just placing a second gunner in village range lol...)

My best ttc that I don't think anyone else has done is 2-3-0 engi and anti-bloon. The upgrade order is definitely not what you think.
How does that work? Does antibloon need the camo path?
@@Fera-gr5mm, the ability hits Camo. And cleansing foam helps too. But yeah, that was super hard; originally, my plan was to get overclock, but I knew I needed anti-bloon first, so I saved up, and once I got it, I realized it was strong enough to solo as long as I didn't lose to camos.
Also, I had so many attempts fail because ultra vision cross path couldn't save up for antibloon.

I think the top path nerf was excessive, at least for the megalodon. Perhaps it the not-powered is the 1/15th of old strength for the orca, and full power is 1/5th or something, while full power megalodon is only half of old or even same as old, it is a T5 and still executes up to round 150, but useless after that as is

I’m not good at btd6 but I feel like getting orca would have been helpful for some of the higher rounds. I’m pretty sure a base orca can eat bfbs right? I feel like that would have been really useful. But isab managed without so idk lol
Getting orca means he doesn’t get flying fortress before 90 ergo he dies to ddts since orca can’t see camo. He didn’t get it because the money was too tight, and after 90 he could have got it but at that point there was no need because flying fortress just carries regardless. If you go to 17:00 which is round 91 he only has $7,000 meaning he still wouldn’t have had flying fortress up for another two rounds if he had gotten the orca. Maybe spectre can beat 90 but theres no way it’s beating the ddts and moabs on 93 even with an orca to support it. The orca also attacks slower so overal it could have potentially decreased the beast handelers damage output because it’s attacking less so it’s thrashing on grouped bloons even less.
The trouble is, if he bought orca, he wouldn't have had enough money for flying fortress before round 90 and spectre + orca without camo detection = dead to DDTs.

in the new map, i went in qith adora, and for some reason as soon as the eye closed adora stopped doing damage, when i opened the eye again it went back to normal and never shut down like that again, did this happen to someone else?
