I'm not sure when it started to happen, but top path alch actually DOES buff the glue gunner's damage over time. Not the berserker brew, but the AMD. It gives +1 bonus damage to MOAB-class bloons, so you can effectively double the fourth tier's MOAB DPS for a thousand dollars. This is probably a bug, but it's been around for many updates now.
It wouldn't have exactly done much here, but could be useful for the challenge editor or something.
Edit: Seems it was patched this very update. Oh well, sorry for the false alarm.
Edit 2: Seems.. It's not? Sometimes it doesn't work, other times it does. Pretty confusing, but it works more often than not.
That plus attack speed buffs as well

just tested it, not true broski
put it right at the front of town center with 502, reapplied glue 3 times, and both times it did just over 4200 damage with no increase
@@mice_kiNg14 goddamn I tested it just now, it must've been patched. Worked in 36.0 so it must've been patched in the hotfix for the top path beast handler. Well, thanks for letting me know.
They intentionally changed it to allow AMD to work on glue, they mentioned it in the 30.0 patch notes. It not doing more damage with it currently must be a bug, because it still accepts the buff.

I hope we get a DoT overhaul patch some time. Glue should stack (like in Battles) and all the fire DoT attacks should get bonus damage to already on-fire bloons, like I believe Laser DoT does.
This could finally be the update to Offensive Alch, too!
Currently, there's anti synergy with multiple mortars, multiple glue, and to a small extent multiple boats (no reason to max crosspath a large number of boats.)
Support-buff towers also need a rework for DoT towers.
All DoTs have an insane synergy with DEBUFFS. Things like 5-x-x glue does 1 damage 60 time per second. So when the Moab takes +1 damage from every source, you litterally double your dps by adding an embrittlement. So going for debuffs seems like the way. Anyway, I wish DoTs from different towers were stacking as well.
@@gglanouille3060 no. Solver does like 3 bonus damage to moabs. Debuffs aren't useless on it, but they don't double its damage
If you're going for Merchants, having a lot of them with fire-grapes can be pretty nice DPS while farming for bigger towers, but it does fall off because of DoT not stacking, if it did than Merchants would be a lot better

I love this change, since solver would kind of fall off in later rounds, but now it has more utility! But I’m pretty sure relentless is even more unconventional now 😂
Bloon Solver has become a midgame staple for me, a lot of my strats involve farming and buying it before round 60, occasionally even before 50 if I get enough farms down. Put a 420 village and an alch next to it and it can take down a great many things.
Relentless now stuns bloons instead of dropping puddles
I think relentless is useful with fire damage and Sauda
@@wolfhoundBass alch doesn’t work anymore, they patched it on the same patch as top path beast handler (rip round 98 bloon solver)
In some ways the Gerry's Fire seems to be sabotaging the glue. If it pops e.g. a ceramic or rainbow into many children, the glue gunner gets pierce capped and bloons leak where the bloon would have been easily dissolved otherwise.
You should definitely do more 2M pops. Probably my favorite series you’ve made.
5-2-0 can do Apopalyse easily due to the rounds not ending and over-lapping, allowing the glue to end up stacking to do that massive damage to the BAD

Why glue soak? It applies when the top path glue hits it anyway, you could've used 1-2-0 or something
Solver went from a niche favorite to an actual solution to everything but ZOMGs and BADs, it's such an impressive glow-up and is so much fun to see in action.

Challenge Idea: CHIMPS but you can only buy upgrades that cost less than the total pop count of the tower. (By the way, love the content keep up the good work!)
So you would have to get pops on the tower before upgrading it?

Gerry's fire doesn't target close only, decamo sub makes bloons visible which will not give bonus damage from Gerry's camo potion

Funnily enough it looks like in the late game rounds sabo makes the solver kill zomgs slower, well it doesn't really matter as they die regardless, but it puts so much distance between bfb's and zomg's that the acid pools (ehich deal 50 damage each) do not actually hit the zomgs

I don’t have consistent proof but you can tell that a 2-2 glue gunner in that game is much, much stronger than a 220 glue gunner in BTD 6

Is glaive lord a good late game tower? I usually have issue with BAD’s when I get late. I get slow downs for the zomg and below but if a BAD gets too deep it’s over.

Someone knows when 004 glue got buffed that i see like 5 days ago that it instead of leaving a glue on track when glued bloon pop now it will stuns bloons nerby i dont play frequently like in 2 months i get a little bored of the game just update it and play sometimes not even see the path notes

The point is that the first strikes are required because glue alone isn't enough for the BAD layer, so he didn't want too much extra damage from other stuff because most of the room for extra was taken up by those first strikes, lol

I think the glue on the track should be the tier 2 middle path. It being on the tier 5 feels so underwhelming imo.

Are you kidding? Acidic Mixture Dip + Corrosive Glue Gunner's is actually one of the best ways to maximise the damage out put of AMD.
In fact, a 3-2-0 Alchemist pretty much negates the need to get Glue Splatter. More expensive, yes. But the additional buffs provided by Berserker Brew and AMD more than make up for it.
I don't feel confident in my btd battles abilities I just keep losing when I always used to win maybe its because the people on red bloon Camp have figured out my strats I don't know man I think I might quit battles I just don't know
