I think the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS is the perfect bike, I love everything about it except for the lack of Wind protection. I don't know why companies don't seem to realize that people are buying naked bikes because of the ergonomics. not because they want to get hammered by the wind at anything above sixty mph. Yeah I did. This engine feels quite a bit better than the older model Street Triple though. I think the MT09 still feels like it has a little more torque but this new one is awesome
Someone needs to bring a Tour Triple with similar electronics and power to weight ratio if not same. Now that this comes with a cruise control as an option.

@@captain_midlife 100%. Ducati has a long way to go to catch up to the ride that the RS offers. Selling the R1 to get something more "everyday rideable", keen to give one of these and the V2 streetfighter a go before I completely make up my mind on getting an XSR900.. will be nice to see how my thoughts line up with yours!
Own a 2022 RS and had been on a XSR900 and it doesn’t compare - the RS is more upmarket and it shows in the initial price tag. The XSR900 is cheaper because it is build cheaper - it feels cheaply put together and you have to drop money to upgrade little parts here and there to make it feel right, the RS otoh is like fully done out of factory you don’t really need to do anything to it.
@@patrickrosello9583 yes the latest sp. The RS is smoother, turns better/faster. The Triumph engine is so good and the clutch and throttle are the best I’ve ever had on a bike. I’ve ridden the 2021 S1000R and I wasn’t a fan, I’m not sure why I think it was just too plain. I think the latest one would be rad. Sold the Tuono cause I couldn’t afford to have all of them haha. And your last point, I mean I think that goes for anything. Even my tuned Tuono I got used to that power after a while.
@@captain_midlife that’s a great point, better to have good character because you’ll likely get used to the power. Yeah new s1000r is nice. Doesn’t have this triple sound though.
Tuono 1100 always too fast, Street triple es Maybe too blend😎duke 890r perfect power ✊🔥🔥
@@captain_midlife debating between this and the sf v2 now. Hard one.
I just sold my Speed triple 1200Rs 180 Bhp and yes 💯 the Street Triple is a great bike , I test rode one but the power nothing special tbh , it doesn’t launch you forward like the 1200 but its handling and the way it rides is incredible especially at low speeds, personally I’d prefer it with 150 bhp 😂
Im on the same boat, I LOVE my 2022 1290 SAR, and now looking at this 24 Street Triple in yellow. Thank you for the feedback
BTW, you nailed your gopro settings, what are you set to gopro to? 4K 25fps, what else? Wide view? Stabilization? Apture?
Thank you man
Selling the R1 to get something more "everyday rideable", keen to give one of these and the V2 streetfighter a go before I completely make up my mind on getting an XSR900.. will be nice to see how my thoughts line up with yours!
You got to give me a ride of that R1 first
@@captain_midlife Well i'll be at Holeshot/Cyclespot on Sat.. if your around let me know and you can
I’m selling my r6 for a 2023 triple RS
Own a 2022 RS and had been on a XSR900 and it doesn’t compare - the RS is more upmarket and it shows in the initial price tag. The XSR900 is cheaper because it is build cheaper - it feels cheaply put together and you have to drop money to upgrade little parts here and there to make it feel right, the RS otoh is like fully done out of factory you don’t really need to do anything to it.
Great vid. I have the mt09sp and just test rode this rs ….. I’m buying the rs. Night and day it’s a better bike
Yeah agreed. Pretty obviously eh. Pay more get more in this case
Although the MT09 is a classic great bike
Is it the last gen MT09 SP you have? In what way is the Street really better for you?
@@patrickrosello9583 yes the latest sp. The RS is smoother, turns better/faster. The Triumph engine is so good and the clutch and throttle are the best I’ve ever had on a bike. I’m just faster everywhere on it. I live next to brands hatch race circuit and it’s night and day faster round the track. Not knocking the MT-SP at all, it’s a great bike but the Triumph is just better. More top shelf 🤙
More RPM (like more happy zone 😊), more braking power (brembo stylema) and better suited to the track day (moto2) 💛💛💛
Glad I come across your review been looking to buy a bike and just ordered the red one and was having second thoughts as I am 6 foot and thought it may be a bit small. Hoping I made the right choice , maybe see you out there👍
Definitely not to small at 6 foot. You’ll love it
How does it compare to the Tuono 660 Factory ?
I prefer this honestly. I like the Tuono but this bike feels more premium and definitely faster
That's what makes a great second bike, it's the contrast between it and your adventure. I'm thinking the same thing - I have a 1250 GS... Keep us posted. Great videos by the way, I'm a new subscriber and I enjoy your content. I like the shot with you on the bike so we can see size ratio (us bigger guys can appreciate). Cheers - Jim
Thanks mate appreciate it. Yeah I thought it added something to the video, I’ll keep doing that
@@captain_midlife Maybe you can do a side by side comparison between the MT09 and this one (Street Triple RS). Would love to hear what you think in a side by side manner.
How would you compare the Triumph Trident to this? Many reviewers say it feels like a budget Triple.
I mean the Trident has way less power, and no where near the suspension spec. I can’t see it. I think it’s a great budget bike for sure. But not on this level
How are you finding the QS?
Did you sell the Tuono??
Nice review! How tall are you? Do you feel like it's a bit small for a heavier and taller guy? I'm 185 cm and 210 pounds. Looking for an upgrade to my MT-07.
I’m exactly 185 also. It’s great. Definitely feels much bigger than an MT07
is it really an upgrade? i thought both bikes were on the same lvl performance wise?? Currently, I own MT-03 and looking something new for an upgrade but I guess Mt-07 is far behind triple rs.... and I thought they're the same.
@@Voltomess First of all the MT07 has 73 hp, Street Triple RS has 130 hp. Besides the power the Streety got better components overall. Brakes, dampers, electronics. The MT07 for example doesn't have a quick shifter or cornering ABS. These two bikes don't play in the same league. The Yamaha isn't a bad bike though, just try what suits you best.
I made the mistake on test riding one. Now my 22 XSR900 is for sale. 😅
What do you like better about the Triple RS? And please don’t say “everything” lol
Looking for experienced thoughts
How does it feel compared to the 2020 model? Is it a night and day difference?
Yeah the 2020 is a great bike but this does definitely feel like a whole new bike
this or the mt09 sp?
For me. It’s this
How is the handling compared to the tuono 1100?
I own a 2023 moto 2 edition and a tuono v4 factory were the street triple is lighter the handling is superb so in my opinion no comparison street triple handling better by far
How tall you are ?
