    Thank you for this comparison on track.
    I bought the latest 765 RS last year. In the better colour though!
    Having ridden sports-bikes on track-days in the past, I bought this more to have fun and improve myself on track (I don’t get to do many each year), instead of concentrating too much on the bike.
    I’ve tested the 890R and 790 Duke before that, the MT09 last year and a lot of the 1000+ naked bikes in the past, including the Triumph 1200 RS back to back with the previous ‘22 model of the 765.
    I have no brand loyalty.
    This 765 may not be the most powerful or fastest bike in a straight line, but I just preferred the whole chassis and the engine character of the 765 for track riding. This is comfortable (for me) and most importantly is the most accurate/precise bike for improving yourself I think.
    It is also pretty much track ready straight out of the box, tyres and all (add a brake lever guard).
    I’ve uploaded some of my track sessions on my 765 previously, including Cadwell Park. These are just unedited sessions of an experienced (old?!) amateur still trying to improve;

      Isn't that funny how nothing gets fairings north of the 650-750 class, except the superbikes (like R1, CBR Fireblade, Panigale, etc) or sports-tourers. I would be happy with a quarter fairing without any other changes. Remember stuff like the FZ1, Bandit 1250S? Nice quarter fairings on otherwise naked sportsbikes.

    Nice video. I bought some Bridgestone S22 last year on sale looking at all these videos using Bridgestone tires in the UK. Great tires on my 2019 STT RS. And the grip is consistent as they get old. Needs more promotion here in Canada to build the brand as they are very underrated here, surprisingly.
    I run 28psi at the front and 26 at the rear on a sunny track day here in Canada (where it can get really hot 30C). Surprised of seeing the Bridgestone rep (sorry cant remember his name), giving much higher value. Maybe track temp difference between England and here ?
    Quick question if someone has the time to answer. Switching this bike to a trackday bike (no more road riding). Is it worth it to go with an racing street RS11 then ? I dont want to use warmers.

    What tyre is on the rear of the Ducati? They have been selling the midclass Ducati's on 180/60 tyres for ages but I don't believe Bridgestone even make the S23 in 180/60 yet. Atleast the don't advertise it on their website. So what is on then? A S22 180/60 or a S23 180/55. I have had a load of 180/55 S22's on my bike, it has a really flat profile that gives stabilty but it does not have the much more agressive steap sides of the Pirelli's that Ducati's are sold on. If it is a 180/55 S23 on the Ducati, it would be completely logical if it was slow steering.

      @Googie6767 24 дня назад +1

      I’ve had a 180/55 S21 and a 180/60 S22. That flat profile is the only problem with what could be a great tyre. The R11 had a better profile but was a terrible tyre. Don’t even look at Bridgestone anymore.

      Very good point. Still, I find my SFV2 slow steering on stock tyres anyway. Increasing rear preload by 3 mm helped a lot (85 kg rider) but it's still not up to hypersport standards. On stock setup I even crashed, failing to commit in corner fast enough after passing cyclists. It's an adorable machine full of V2 character but not the best handling.

    This test shows once again that riding impressions on motorcycles are extremely subjective and ultimately you can never avoid a test ride. I had a Yamaha MT-09 SP for 3 years, which is considered hyper-agile, and I had so much more fun on the twisty country roads on my test ride with the Ducati Streetfighter V2 than I ever had with the Yamaha. The Ducati can simply do everything better, which is why I ordered one straight away, which will be delivered in two weeks. If I had known that motorcycles could ride like the Streetfighter does, I would have bought it much sooner.

    Triumph is too revvy.. not very good on the road, you really notice the lack of torque! Constantly dropping down gears to get the thing going it only seems useful on track but you might aswell buy a sports bike if its track specific..

      I own one and completely disagree. It's great on the road and has plenty of torque.

      @lcsper 21 день назад +3

      Hell no. It has plenty torque. It's also really smart with how it delivers it. Sure it's no Ducati but it's plenty. I used to own a Monster before the 765RS and the only thing the Ducati did better was the initial torque. The 765 is a perfect bike.

      Morpheous is the only one true god. He is half octopus, half Bald Eagle and lives in a coke can under the sea... he once kicked Thors butt at the battle of the Gulf stream. Then he invented all the other fake gods, so that he could live the rest of eternity in peace.
      All hail Morpheous 🙌 🙏 👏 ❤️
