I also used to feel it may be a big hurdle to get used to button signaling but it wasn’t that bad. I got used to it within a week. My wife got used to it within 3 days, even better!
I drove a highland for 8 months and I got use of the buttons but I can now say that it was a misstanke to take the Stalkes away. Especially with this poor buttons they are simply not good,
One of the best cars Tesla makes today, especially for the price. The no stalks are a problem and aren’t easy to use especially on a highway when changing lanes. I like that color, stealth grey and white looks good as well. All personal preference. The car drives & handles amazing!! ⚡️😎
I can concur the car is great, have had 4 Teslas: 2017 X, 2019 3P, 2023 YP (Berlin) and now 2024 3PH from China. The car is the quickest 3P that has been in Europe as of yet, its also very quiet, easy to drive, stereo is even better. Cooled seats is great for track/autocross when you have to have windows closed. Rear screen is cool for the kid, he controls netflix/youtube etc. wireless controllers can be used for gaming on it too. The rear stereo zone with screen works very well. HW4 cameras give a very nice quality of images.
in the singapore context, how do you reconcile the fact that the govt wants us to switch over to EV, but yet wants to also charge exhorbitant amounts for road tax and insurance?
Very nice car, I am glad they brought this silver to their existing colors it is one of my favorite, I was interested in the performance model however I went with the Dual motor in white. in Canada the Performance was not eligible for the $5000.00 rebate and was also a longer wait to be able to get it. this 2024 refresh is much better in many ways. Congratulations and enjoy!
I guess the easiest way to remember the direction for the signal buttons is similar to the driver stalks The button on top is clockwise (essentially right, just like how we push from bottom to the top for the driver stalks) The button on the bottom is anti clockwise (essentially left, just like how we push from top to bottom for the driver stalks) hehe
Hey Roy. I estimate SG$140k all-in if Tesla does sell a version with steering wheel in Singapore (they may only do a robotaxi version in some markets, and these can’t be bought by individuals - meant to be sold/rented to fleets like Grab & Uber).
The staggered configuration is also becoz more for track use. From track mode you can customize the amount of torque transfer to front or back during driving. It’s beneficial especially when you need it to drift.
Wow, SGD$250K plus SGD$6K per year for road tax is truly insane. I paid USD$58K after rebates & tax incentives for my 2024 Model 3 Performance. My EV road tax is about USD$350 per year.
That's true. Singapore has by far the world's highest car prices because of high taxation (intentional effort by government to encourage use of public transportation).
U gotta understand that someone buying a $250k car with the number plate of E111L does not care about it, dude’s probably a millionaire and values time more than taking public transportation.
@@dsjc_ He is definitely a millionaire if he is paying $255,000 for a car + $6,000 road tax per year. This is more like a toy to him rather than a transportation.
The plate more expensive than the car. I would like to recite it in mandarin hahaha

Cool car! I would have expected the Quicksilver to be a lighter shade.
The 20" wheels tire specification is Front 235/35R20 and Rear 275/30R20
The performance part of the car is not the reason you chose the performance model. Are you for real ?
You must be joking, right ?
Nice color. Nice no plate. Good buy !
Great video thanks guys
Nice plate
I see two wojaks in the vid
the car plate more expensive than the car sia...
Model 3 Performance is to compensate of not having Model S here in Singapore... the best Tesla EV you can get.
100%
Quicksilver is so SEXY
Such a beautiful car 😍
Thanks for the video! You are very smart and well spoken. I pick up my quicksilver Model 3 next week 😊

Can't wait to get my quicksilver long range, almost went for the performance, great looking car.
Some people never noticed, within a few years the has Model 3, Model Y and now Model 3 performance... Maybe can share the journey on how he did that.
How much would model 2 cost in sg when it’s released here? Haha

Good insight, Martin!

@@DarenYoong I remember; lived in SG for 35 years.
The dual motor is the best deal. Just in standard mode is fast enough. Chill mode is what i set it in
Yes, this is true for most countries outside of Singapore!
Good job both, enjoyable video
Thanks Ryan!
it’s weird that Tesla claims 0-60 in 2.9
0 to 100 km = 0 to 62 mph in 3.1 sec, not 0 to 60.
The US version has 50 more horsepower because they are using a different battery.
I mean they claimed 0-60 in 1.99 for the tesla plaid and it could only get to 2.2-2.3 .. so nothing new.
That price is brutal. It’s like 2.83 X of what You’d pay for it in Europe, and in the States it’s even cheaper. 😱🙀
"Uniquely Singapore!"
@@lootsterman, You have to be making seeeeerious dough to be able to afford it! 😎👌🏻
yeah its kind tragic like even as a tesla owner i would never in my life pay that much for a tesla.... lets be completely realistic here
Wait till you find out what we have to pay for road taxes for a 500+hp EV in Singapore.
the model tree
waste of money for 10 years. just take bus/train/grab. No wonder so many complain they don't have enough to retire
Just do grab or food. Delivery bter suits ur needs lah uncle. Poor forever, hate forever sour forever haha poor loser joker. In real life noob shit
buy tesla stock cfm can retire, 2030 10000 per share. Got one angmoh say 48000 by 2035. Don't buy means have fun staying poor

Did the owner of the car ever complain or are you just hating on the affluent because you work a minimum wage job?
the EMF levels on all EVS will probably kill you in the long run
Do you believe the earth is flat too? 😂
