Internacional De Skimboard Portugal - 2012 UST Stop #4

The fourth stop on the 2012 UST Tour took place at Santa Cruz beach in Torres Vedras Portugal. This was the first time that the UST has visited Portugal and the Portuguese made sure to pull out all the stops to welcome the UST.
Contest Organizer Jose Costa pulled off a five day waiting period event while skimboarders from Europe, North America and Africa made the trek to attend.
Mother nature didn't exactly cooperate with the conditions as persistent winds kept Santa Cruz from showing how good Portugal can get. It was no big deal however as the world's best skimboarders were on hand to show what can be done even in challenging conditions.
The final four were:
1) Sam Stinnett
2) Hugo Santos
3) Blair Conklin
4) Eduardo Joaquim

true but at the same time on the east coast we are used to getting to the waves but we need to learn how to actually ride on the waves. but i do agree it is much more fun to watch if the whole run is included and the pumping/slipping etc.
