I just started as a coach for 9-10 year olds and this video is SO helpful. I was having trouble with a couple of these things but I think I'll be able to really stress these at next practice and get it down!!
Hello from Ukraine! between air raid alerts I watch your lessons, it becomes easier ... thanks ... I hope after the war with Russia and our victory, I will improve my volleyball skills. Peace and Goodness to all on the planet!!!
Do you have any advice on attack timing? I'm having trouble when it comes to knowing when to start my approach and i find I'm often too early so i end up under the ball, but if i delay a little then I'm too late. Any tips would be appreciated.
If you're using a 3 step approach, your first step happens just as the ball leaves to setters hand. The next thing to look for is the ball rounding the top of its rainbow. just before it comes down toward you, is when you do the 2 step plant and jump up to it. Make sure to pause on the first step if it's a high set because if you cruise right through it,you'll end up being early even when start on time.
You need way more subs! This is great info and well done! Thank you!
