It’s Friday, 5pm and I am at home but I feel the sudden urge to break into my school’s gym just to be able to play volleyball all by myself and learn those techniques
Jump floating is very tricky and requires a lot of time to execute it properly. I remember it took me about 3 weeks to learn. However, in the end it’s very worth it because float serving is one of the deadliest weapons in this sport if performed properly. College engineer here, the reason for the difference between a spinning and floating ball is because of the difference in the wake the ball leaves behind. A floating ball has a stationary boundary layer which creates a larger wake that behaves erratically, which is why it randomly goes back and forth, like how a ping pong ball vibrates when you do the thing where you suspend it in a stream of air. A spinning ball keeps the boundary later moving, so the air has more turbulence energy and can form a smaller and more even wake. The topspin direction places the wake higher behind the ball with the air under the ball moving faster than that above it, which sucks the ball downward, like an upside-down airplane wing. It worked for me💁
That’s my problem
My coach always tells me it’s not as much of a strength game (even though it’s important) it’s about a fast arm swing and contact point
“i’m surprised you guys have blue balls.”
sejiel thought I was the only one who found that funny
Literally looked for this comment 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Thank you soo much for helping me i really wanted to do a jump float serve u really helped me. Also im starting to play volley ball i watched your video of how to practice at home and im gonna do that.
Just as I was thinking of volleyball your video popped up. how amazing! 😆😆

Victoria Garrick HII could you do a video for libero/ds on how to read a hitter, where to move for different hitters. i’m really not good at positioning myself for different hitters. especially on ready middles.
Who’s here wanting to learn how to do a float serve because of haikyuu and yamaguchi?
@@cz_08 is not real

@@cz_08 yes fuck me😍
I want pinch serve
Meeee
me not even having a volleyball, and not even playing volleyball : *I'm a little lost but, fair enough*
I’d love to do volleyball, but two reasons I can’t:
1: I’m 4’11
2: there isn’t any teams near me, we don’t have one in school.
I’ve dreamed of being a libero since I started looking into the sport, and especially after watching haikyu. But there aren’t any teams openz😂😭😭
Height doesn't matter! It's just easier if you're taller I'm 4'5 and I'm practicing over the summer so I can do it in middle school! It's just a bit harder when you smaller. Trust me, I wish I was taller too 😂
IF YOU WATCHED HAIKYUU YOU SHOULD ENCOURAGE YOUR SHORTNEST ANF FLY LIKE A CROW ITS OK I BELIEVE IN YOU YOU CAN DO ANYTHING IM ORETTY SURE IN MY COUNTRY WE DONT HAVE A VOLLOEYBALL GYM HAHAHAHA

@@aynbtrsyaa3453 I am watching Haikyuu and I really like it but this video is not about Haikyuu. It's about volleyball and there is no reason to spam haikyuuhaikyuuhaikyuuhaikyuu.
@@krowni6369 well im just saying you should watch it 😔 sorry if i did offend
Mirage's Decoy relax. There are fans that probably want to learn how to play volleyball or want to see the similarities between the anime and real life and wanna see how it’s executed
ayeunn // I do watch it it’s a very nice sports anime and extremely accurate 👍
can you do a video on how to prepare (mentally/physically) for tryouts?
Rachel Marrone keep having the same mentality that ur the best one out there and u can do it because you will do worse if you talk yourself down
you made usc my dream school ur so inspiring thank you ♥️♥️♥️♥️💕💕💕💕💕💛💛💛💛💛💛
Jayda Hamdan yes tbh it’s honestly my dream school after watching a lot of her videos
Mireya Acosta same i heard it’s very hard to get into so that might not happen:)
Jayda Hamdan dame but a sister lived in Ohio
It’s harder now because there was a scandal in acceptance to usc. People were bribed here and there for many years and it was recently uncovered
Jayda Hamdan sameeeeee
I just started practicing volleyball and this is just causally in my Recommend😀🤚

Thank you for the technique especially in serving, I'd love to know how to serve just like you did.. Your video makes me inspire to know more.
