Do you have LOS through LARGE ENEMIES though? Like the small rats BEHIND the broodmother? Can I target them from infront of the broodmother with ranged attacks?
Not the developer; however, as I understand it the rules as written allow you target the rats behind the Broodmother as only the terrain barriers count in terms of blocking LoS. Thematically, it's as if the Broodmother is twisting & turning, creating gaps that your skills can go through. This is why AoE is critical for placement because those do affect where any enemies are and therefore can't be "targeted," and also why AoE, knockbacks, etc., count as friendly fire.
Perfect! This covered the exact examples I just faced in my game. I'm glad to know I was interpreting the rules correctly!
