I believe your podcasts are better than many web series, fake motivation, and reels, and they tell us what it truly means to be a military officer. Your podcasts give a clear message that the core of all officers is the same, i.e. OLQs, and how these qualities are actually used in military situations. The connection of OLQs from sir answers proves it all. Totally worth it to watch! Can't wait for the next podcast, sir! 🤩🤩
I am humbled after reading this. I would earnestly request you to share this video and my channel within your social groups. Warm Regards, Lt Cdr Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd.)
@@rogerthatwithnkc Definitely, sir!

Couldn't agree more
My dad's a retired MiG-21 pilot.
I'm ex Infantry.
Thanks for the episode. 😊 Keep it up sir!
A very very awaited podcast but completely worthy.....realy enjoyed..☺☺
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@rogerthatwithnkc now waiting for one with commodore vijay rawat sir.....☺
It was pleasure to see this broadcast.
Its was Very interesting to learn about the sign used for communication , Perfection of The Airmen and i would surely say that it would inspired the youth to join as Fighter Pilot .
Jai Hind Sir 🫡
Thank you for this appreciation. Warmly, Lt Cdr Nikhil KC (Retd.)
Having SSB Tomorrow for pilot and watching this❤, now feeling i want to do all this and explore and enhance my capabilities in the forces
How it went?
@@aravindsasidharan6789 conference out😢
man, if thats what you really really want, go for it again. Once you're a fighter pilot, make it count and dominate the sky. Wish the best brother.
@@nineninehawk thank you so much buddy! And going again for it💓 will tell u soon the good news
@@PiyushThakur_vlogs Let's get it 💪
No words for this podcast sir.. The way "Abby The Rebel" Sir explained insights of fighter pilot's life and duty and the way you correlated each and everything with OLQs.. It's just woww sir.. Honestly speaking, this type of correlation itself solves n number of doubts and myths which many of us are carrying in our minds about SSB.. Thanks to both of you sir.. JAI HIND
This is Lt. Commander Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd.) responding to the comment. I am glad that you understood the intent of this show. All the very best for your next SSB.
Sir ! Love the podcast it was very much awaited ❤ sir some suggestions
1. the table where you and sir are sitting , instead of that curvy table pot have a more right angular pot as all the materials like the frame and commendation is kept they are right angular in nature
2. Pls have roger that with NKC light fitting in the center and spread out the wellcrow stickers in random ways and not in a very straight manner.
3. The potted plant instead of having it in the side behind your back you can have a vertical application of the same on the holes of the partition , this can be achieved by having small plastic pots with hooks on them and locking them at the perforated panel.
Overall great set.
Thank you sir for the wonderful podcast just an interior designers perspective of the space. Sir also put your stuffed toy actually missing him. ❤
More ups to you and your team 🎉
Thank you so much for your suggestions. My stuffed toy is "Hugsy - The Penguin". He is there in the background. Hugsy would never be out of the set :-D
@@rogerthatwithnkcoh ! Sorry sir is did not notice Hugsy ! One more thing please place him somewhere around you to create a focal point ! I think he can add a lot of quirky Ness and also act as a focal point. Just one more thing pls don’t make me wait for 1 month to see you with a new podcast that’s too much ! I can’t wait to see more inspiring stories ❤ sorry my statement hurt you in any manner ! More ups to you and your team 🍺
One of the finest interview watched ever since the inception of internet. Insightful 🎇🎇
Thank you so much for your kind words. This means a lot to the entire team of Roger that with NKC. Regards.

We got our own c.w lemone podcast!
Just loved the indian perspective.
What a fantabulous podcast! Electrifying delight. Wg.Cdr.Gokhale was that gem of an instructor who lucidly explained everything. Happy landings sir!
Lt.Cdr.Nikhil Kumar-it’s been a great effort on your side to pull off this podcast with great alacrity. However, I have a suggestion to make as regards your hand and finger movements. As u May agree, you have been inadvertently using the finger and pointing out towards your guest which might get uncomfortable for him. Therefore, u may consider making amendments to it. Thanks.
Brilliant interview learn lot of complexities and how our IAF pilots go through hardship during their daily sorties and operations.
Very inspiring and motiviting fir youngsters who want to serve the country.
Bravo 👏
loved the podcast sir, i am a defence aspirant and i do watch defence related talk shows/podcasts in youtube every once in a while, but i have never seen a military veteran do such a high end setup based podcast. excitedly waiting for more such podcasts!!!
This podcast was something which I and other young boys with hot blood, needed, but didn't know what they needed. All the technicalities explained with such enthusiasm.. With such great energy which increased my blood. Thank you for bringing this officer who might have gone unheard... The questions asked and the points added by the host made it just perfect.
Thanks man ! We'll continue to upload such podcasts😎 Please do share it with your mates !

One of the best military podcast ive ever seen till date, most of the other podcasts that ive seen, was just for like 5 mins to say 10 mins, but this podcast was totally something else. It took me like 2 days to complete watching this podcast since im a full time photographer, but I completed watching it today❤❤❤ i just cant express how contended i feel after watching such a practical podcast.
Thank you so much for your kind words. This means a lot to the whole team of Roger that with NKC. Sincere Regards, Lt Commander Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd.)
What a show!! this show is as intresting as an action movie. I even don't know how i watched entire episode without any interval❤❤❤.
Thank you so much sir 🫡
We are pleased to hear that. Thank you 🙏
Thanks sir the show was really insightful and interesting…
I was writing the quotes given by sir during the session😅
Thanks sir 🙏🙏
All the best
One of the best podcasts I've heard lately. My grandfather was in the Indian Air Force after serving at the Royal Indan Air Force. But we hear so few stories of IAF. Amazing, please make more!
Hi just a little help needed can you let me know how to contact you or anyone in the IAF or fighter pilot of navy or army too, i want to start the preparation but unsure of the medical fitness and dont have the insight of this profession, it will be a big help. Thanks!
@@ABHISEKBISWASB Hi Abhishek!
Unfortunately I don't know much about IAF nor do I know anybody from that field. I guess you'll get all the information you need on internet. Wish you the best!
Thoroughly enjoyed. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Truly exceptional podcast 👌even better than watching a movie. Listening to every word throughout the episode is immensely rewarding. Outstanding work by the host and superb explanations by the speaker. Really impressive loved it!
Wow, thank you! Regards, Lt Commander Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd. )
First time I have accross such detiled beautiful informative interview. Our all TV anchors should learn how to take interview.
I salute Wing Comm. A. Gokhale.
Thank you for your kind words. Deeply appreciate. Regards, Lt Cdr Nikhil KC (Retd.)
Flying is not difficult, there is a learning curve which is different for every individual. Also as you keep moving onto different aircrafts, you have to be open to learning and adapting. Flying demands for consistent safe performance, that's the part that requires discipline and can be challenging due to the daily schedule & body clock (circadian). This can really affect performance, especially fatigue.
Why were there no questions about Abhinandan's incident? Was so looking forward to you asking this..
1:14:30 Excellent Question, that's what sets apart a professional interviewer like yourself from the rest
Thank you so much for your kind words. Regards, Lt Cdr Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd.)
Excellent podcast. This sir is so much passionate. It can be seen from his josh.
Expected a timeline breakdown

I love the way he asked the question, nice podcast.
Well, it was my dream to be a IAF pilot but failed in SSB 14 time.
Anyways, nice to learn about his life.
Salute to the WGCoDr Abhijit Gokhale Sir, Inspirational.
great 🫡 a Maverick's interview you have taken. he is one of the best for sure. toughest fighter toughest times..big salute to the one of the best fighter pilots we have..
Once you have tested flight you will never love to land......Thank you for this podcast sir
So true!
Starting from the quality, the questions, the host everything about the podcast was spot on, i woudnt generally compare the podcasts but this was legit the best one. I think people should share this so that the reach increase and eventually motivate the team to bring out many more podcasts in the future.
Thank you so much. It feels really good to hear this. Regards, Lt Commander Nikhil Kumar Chandrakala (Retd.)
Absolutely loved each bit of it. Keep more airforce pilots coming in
Sir your content is amazing and appreciation for that but as a podcast listener your 'hu huu hmmm hmm' humming sound in-between the conversation doesn't bridge the soothing
Thank you for your kind words. Deeply appreciate. Regards, Lt Cdr Nikhil KC (Retd.)
@@rogerthatwithnkc Such a humbleness of yours to take it in a positive way :) I wish your podcast reaches the greater heights!
That KB 100 with the MIG was an EPIC picture
Bro best movie ever made in India about the Indian Air Force is "HINDUSTAN KI KASAM" STARING Raj Kumar I think in 1972 or 1973
Squadron Leader- Rajiv Sukla
Sukhoi Su-7 Pilot
loved it worth watching💙💙, Jai Hind ❤
Just loved the show
What a gem of a person sir❤
So he was consultant on 'Tejas' movie in which air to ground bomb shown as air to air missile 😂 kya sir badi badi baate vadapav khake.
Bollywood hai! Can't do anything! He was a consultant , he came he completed his role and he left ! Uske aage bollywood kuch bhi kre ! 😅

Best podcast loved it....👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you.

Unfortunately we didn't have podcasts like this during our time. Also very little guidance.
Excellent
I know him , I was posted with him in one of our IAF unit
Hats off
Brilliant 🙏🙏
we worked in same good Unit in 1997
Please put time stamps.
This podcast smoked all the top gun sequels 🔥
Thank you for your kind words. Regards. Please accord wide publicity.
Sir please invite technical officers from the forces to your show... !!!
That’s the plan. Very soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
speaking of low level flight, during aerial combat exercises was there a hard deck set . . . any visual engagement with an aircraft of questionable intent is an intercept . . . like he rightly said first you intercept your adversary leading to a dogfight . . . the Dassault Mirage 2000-9 TI multi role all weather fighter is considered the TOYOTA of fighter jets, which is true . . . it's a pity that Dassault didn't make just enough Mirage 2000-9 airframes, bcos it's a brilliantly engineered single engine fighter jet even in 2024 & beyond . . . the F-16V Fighting Falcon (Block 70 Advanced) multi role interdictor strike fighter is it's direct competitor since 1984 . . .
Please invite air cheif marshal krishnaswami to your show..? 🙏🙏🙏
Superb interview
Thank you for your kind words. Deeply appreciate. Regards, Lt Cdr Nikhil KC (Retd.)
Time stamp is necessary 😊
Wingco looks similar to Major Sudhir Kumar Walia AC, SM (Bar), ADC
Really huge appreciation for such a detailed podcast. Perhaps, I noticed a few things that might help in improving...
Nikhil sir, your "hmm hmm.." in the background was irritating
Abhijit sir's voice was less audible or intense than yours
and my personal view* I didn't liked Abbee sir being interrupted to perfect the camera view twice! Team should have edited it out
Expecting more IAF veterans on the show 😊
The video was really outstanding ❤😊
Our both officers
And also.. thnx to u too manshi for your honest reviews too
sir oliveplanet ko iaf wale patches in-stock karne bol dete 😹😹
I studied in bhartiya vidhya Bhavans Vadodara.
You can improve your mic setup, sound is not great
Bhai Hindi main podcast milega
Bhai video ko divide krdo parts me so that people can hear whichever part they want to hear
There are time codes on the video.
I couldn't see any, just check whether it's some glitch and what?
I wanted to say that add chapters in video
Can we have Admiral DK Joshi? Here someday?
The endeavour is to have Veterans from all arms, services and branches.
Arrester net is not made of ...........😅😅
TBH, Tejas is probably the worst air force movie ever made. Should have asked about Abhinanda episode considering he was a Mig 21 fighter pilot.
Invite more airforce veteran
UP Board pure Hindi medium wale, jinhe podcast samajh me nahi aaraha hai like kare...😊
These fighter pilots are good at combat flying and I have immense respect for them. But they need to stay in defence services only and not get into commercial flying. They often fail to understand civil flying and treat young first officers like trash. Extremely arrogant and humiliating approach they have towards civil pilots
Too many things on table..
Thanks for the suggestion. We believe that it’s the core crux of this show. Thanks.
Speak Hindi
Totally out of experience
Hindi bolna saram aata hai
They talk in English every day. As a professional, it's not like the Army regiment concept; it's more technical, like the Navy and people from different states, e.g., the southern states. Maybe he can speak Marthi but not Hindi fluently.
What if he is not fluent?
Gokhale Sir,Throttle getting stuck situation (due to loose nuts/bolts). Air Marshal Philip Raja Kumar wrote a similar situation he endured when he was an instructor at Iraqi Air Force Mig 21 training sorties. What he did was radioed to put chokes immediately when the aircraft came into a halt after landing in full throttle. For saving lives and Aircraft Iraqi Airforce honored him by then President Saddam himself.(In his memoirs )
Gokhale Sir, Also I know an incident an IAF Dassault Mystere force landing near Hyderabad in 1960's. Pilot survived with minor injuries. Fuel starvation.
