This is a huge problem, actually.. we do this dog and pony show every time we buy a new piece of equipment.. we are literally giving our enemies our information on a silver platter.. everyday.. the Government can't keep it to themselves open their mouth way too much

Having had the privilege to visit and tour two EKM submarines, Dhvaj and Rakshak (prior to its sinking), I hold immense respect for the warriors of the silent fleet. Surviving in the submarine arm is a remarkable achievement. Great to see Cdr Kankan Sir..
@@rajshamani I visited the EKM's at the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam. These boats are known for their excellent stealth capabilities, but are quite cramped inside compared to Western submarines. The interior is very tight, with limited headroom for taller individuals. Some one taller than 5'10 will have issues standing in certain areas of the sub.There's a distinct odor and constant humming noise throughout. As a civilian, I found it challenging to move between compartments, as one has to swing between the tubes. If not done the right way, you will hurt your legs. Entering the sub involves sliding down a small tube with handholds. The descent to the bridge is surprisingly deep, around 20 feet down steep stairs. It was a nervous climb down as I was told if I slip and fall one could break your neck. Crew members wear simple grey colored disposable clothing without rank insignia .They have a system of hot bunking where the crew shares their bed with another member. People sleep based on their watch keeping hours. Once the shift starts you give your bed to the next crew member to sleep. I was able to tour the submarine because my brother in law is a veteran submarine officer, and we come from a military family with 11 members serving across different branches.

1:15:06 sir was talking about Coco Islands. Which was donated to Myanmar by Nehru and later leased to China. China build air and naval base in there. These 3 islands are very close to north Andaman. You can see it on google map.
MARCOS are as good as any of the other Tier 1 special operators in the West. But, West is far more battle hardened (of course they are the real trouble makers) and better equipped. Maybe better commandos when it comes to pure human survival, vs Western Counterparts who are tech-heavy. Nevertheless, one needs to make clear distinction: 1. Not all Navy SEAL units are Tier 1s. SEAL Team 6 is Tier-1 2. DELTA Force is US's Tier 1 unit- The Tip of the Spear. Army Rangers, most SEAL units, 82/101 Airborne, USMC Force Recon are all Tier 2/3, supporting the Tier 1s. 3. British SAS (1/22/19) and SBS are the Grand Daddy of all. The pioneers and still the best unit in the world. This is attested by Indian Para SF as well. 4. Indian Govt & Defense establishment should STOP using Para SF as a "lawn mover" to kill Terrorists in J&K. They are Ferraris of Indian Defense. They exist to go behind enemy lines, do High Risk Ops (like Delta / SAS). They are our Tier-1s. For all CI Ops, use the RR battalions and at most the Airborne. One can always tag along RR/Airborne in the valley to be battle ready (Ranji Trophy/County Cricket type warm ups 😂). But CI is NOT the main task inside India. We have and still are lossing too many Officers and JCOs. Stop! JaiHind ❤️🇮🇳

1:15:06 sir was talking about Coco Islands. Which was donated to Myanmar by Nehru and later leased to China. China build air and naval base in there. These 3 islands are very close to north Andaman. You can see it on google map.
MARCOS are as good as any of the other Tier 1 special operators in the West. But, West is far more battle hardened (of course they are the real trouble makers) and better equipped. Maybe better commandos when it comes to pure human survival, vs Western Counterparts who are tech-heavy. Nevertheless, one needs to make clear distinction:
1. Not all Navy SEAL units are Tier 1s. SEAL Team 6 is Tier-1
2. DELTA Force is US's Tier 1 unit- The Tip of the Spear. Army Rangers, most SEAL units, 82/101 Airborne, USMC Force Recon are all Tier 2/3, supporting the Tier 1s.
3. British SAS (1/22/19) and SBS are the Grand Daddy of all. The pioneers and still the best unit in the world. This is attested by Indian Para SF as well.
4. Indian Govt & Defense establishment should STOP using Para SF as a "lawn mover" to kill Terrorists in J&K. They are Ferraris of Indian Defense. They exist to go behind enemy lines, do High Risk Ops (like Delta / SAS). They are our Tier-1s. For all CI Ops, use the RR battalions and at most the Airborne. One can always tag along RR/Airborne in the valley to be battle ready (Ranji Trophy/County Cricket type warm ups 😂). But CI is NOT the main task inside India. We have and still are lossing too many Officers and JCOs. Stop!

India doesn't really have a tier system moreover a lot of tiers in us military overlap,tiers is just an assignment given to units for their budget like teir 1 will have the highest budget
