Apologies in advance for the mouse-clicking backround in the tutorial portion of this video - I turned the music/game sounds waaay down in order for you to hear me narrating clearly since this was a VERY complex process I wanted to share. Hope it helps you fellas mangle YOUR foe next time! :)
These are the reasons I run Warband Lord. In my games throwing axes and knives are actually dangerous, archers are tuned down. You can even tweak what different surfaces are weak and strong to different damages.
I will now refer to you as the Bob Ross of Bannerlord. “And now we’re going to set up a kill box… A happy little kill box to paint the ground with the blood of our enemies”
lol, a calm mind will HELP you dominate in Bannerlord(and life). If it's just a happy little flanking maneuver and a happy little infantry square(with happy little accidents), life is sooo much easier.
I really wanna see this game played by two really good tacticians in a multiplayer environment. Third person RTS, running around controlling troops. Maybe a gentleman’s agreement to not target the other player, at least until maybe the bitter end.
Haha, killbox IS sexy. I have 10-12 episodes on it and I can't tell why they aren't more popular. I get a quarter millon views on a siege and 1,500 on a badass killbox tactic that is MUCH harder to pull off and more savage... Glad you liked it anyways!
@HeadlessHorsemanProductions adp 3-90 circa 2019... but the term and steps are much older ... seven steps of engagement area development are: identify all likely enemy avenues of approach, determine likely enemy schemes of maneuver, determine where to kill the enemy force, plan and integrate obstacles, emplace weapon systems, plan and integrate indirect fires, and rehearse.
Fortunately you're right next to a kingdom with excellent spearmen go get yourself some veteran spearmen to anchor your horse Archer armies and rip it brother
Yes, Vlandian infantry is fine but NOT really any skirmishers. If I had to chose(one of each), I'd take Wildlings with sharpshooters. MUCH more versatile, more deadly at range, killboxes, etc.

The sounds of your battle mouse? No worries!
New comer here. Love your attitude about tactics and history, keep doing your thing man. Respect from England.
Thanks mate! I appreciate that and hope you continue to drop by.
Your videos convinced me that I too need an elite 8th corps
Excellent! I've expanded my views since then but yes, having designator corps will certainly give you higher chances of success...

Warband lord. I basically write down like 80% of the mods you recommend to test, Joel. Right on brother.
so satisfying to watch
Yes! The all archer battles are the best!

Clarification , it should be two players controlling an AI army of their choosing. Equal numbers.
That first kill feed had to of been the sexiest thing I’ve seen on bannerlord

@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions yea the only other fight that could be sexier was your castle defense kill box
Your kill box is awesome... from a grunt perspective... more of an engagement area (EA) 😀
Is that a current military term? I presume from cornering in threats and then slowly destroying them?

Example, shape the EA for my CDR by disrupting formations thus enabling direct fire to engage more lethaly.
@@josephkarl7080 Bingo. Still the same as it has been forever...
@@josephkarl7080 THAT is pretty different from the tactics shown here but the end goal and result is the same, funneling, destroying.
I play on console and envy all you who get to mess with mods! Still, I'm having a blast with the game
I'm actually enjoying the Khuzait armies more often, but those Spearman in certain factions are KING.
Fortunately you're right next to a kingdom with excellent spearmen go get yourself some veteran spearmen to anchor your horse Archer armies and rip it brother
Could you do a sturgia series where majority of your troops are infantry so we can see some infantry tactics.
I cover infantry tactics extensively here: ruclips.net/video/5TvYaZvHSmI/видео.html
🗡🛡
May i ask If you use any mod for those fire arrows? I haven't seen them in my playthrough yet.
it's called Perfect Fire Arrow
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions thank you and I'm looking forward to more awesome content
Are battanian champs with the vlandian infantry good? That's mostly what I'm using, but I don't want to waste resources if it's not worth it
