Zeri shares a lot of similarities with the new valorant agent that leaked. Like an amount that can't be a coincidence. Both have the same powers and description and even look super similar. I'd love to see a video on it!
If you think about it. Riot sets themselves up perfectly for a future crossover with League/Valorant that's not as forced/random as the Ruination event. During Zeri's outbursts she thought she saw something or "someone". With the announcement timing and similarities of both characters and the whole Valorant idea of different dimensions it's very possible.
To me it looks like Seraphine done right. A "simple" girl with a special gift that chooses to help others using it. Now we just have to see what skin will she sell...

The big question is, did I just describe Seraphine or Zeri? Her design is also another generic cute female, this is such a joke. Having such an amazing series to come out with an incredible story to then getting a follow up like this... At least her lore doesn't sound completely ridiculous and somewhat makes sense.

I bet that her auto attacks and/or abilities gain range if she doesn't use them. A bit like Thresh's empowered Auto attacks. It's because she can fire more "precise" when charged up with her gun. Also her ult will probably involve her taking her jacket off and no longer being contained

I like her design, it feels like for the first time Riot is making a cute girl that doesn't show skin for the only purpose of showing skin and made it very loyal to the bio they wrote, which in and of itself is pretty generic but it's not something we usually see around League. Looking forward to her release and I expect her gameplay to be interesting, at least (high chance of fast-paced shooting)

Ekko is from zaun and wants to make things better. Sera is from Zaun, and wants to unite it with piltover (cringe). Zac is from zaun and wants to help people. Blitzcrank is from zaun and wants to help people. Viktor is from zaun and wants to help the less fortunate. even warwick wants to kill the murders of zaun. basically, 75% of all characters from zaun are this exact character minus the Flash gimmick

On the topic of her design, she isn't really overtly attractive, nor does being attractive affect her design negatively in any way. The latter is the main reason why people are getting mad about all the super attractive characters.

I quite like her design, she is attractive (and I definitely have a thing for punk fashion) but she's not designed to be "sexy" so I don't think it takes away from her design. Her aesthetics play directly into her character and are entirely how a woman from her background may dress without being fanservice-y, so I like it a lot.

I like her design, I recognize the problem with champions design these last few years, but it is not like all of them are bad and Zeri even being cute doesn't seem exaggeratedly "sexy". But I do hope they start to make champions with more imaginative appearances and some more monster champs too. I really want to see monster champs that don't need to be sexy, male and females.

This character feels built to be in Arcane to me. Though I doubt that was the reason for her creation. Zeri's mother or the friends she recruited have to be pretty smart to make that rifle, I wonder if any of them will turn out to be important characters, maybe even future champions in LoL.

Its heavely implyed that she lived whit Vi Parents before she got adopted by Vander, and from the opening Scene you do see Vi Devastated when she sees them dead on the ground wich is one strong indicator that those were good people, heck even Vander tells Vi how good theire Parents were
there is just one thing, that annoys me. this is now the second champ with superpowers for no reason in the piltover/zhaun area, who gets tech from family to help with her magic to help the people in the city, while being a young and cheerful girl. She would be more unique without seraphine...

Imo seraphines lore doesn’t really exist. She was just made for KDA and supposed to be a just a local “songwriter” on Twitter. Sera’s lore is just there to be there.
I doubt that it's an hourglass symbol on her shirt. It's highly likely that it's a lightning symbol. With how much lightning and electricity there is on her, it would make the most sense if it is.

I wonder if Zeri will appear in Arcane season 2. Obviously not like this, as I'm pretty sure their gonna pick up where the first season ended which is still in the past, so maybe like a child version of her.
Not gonna be toxic like some people (looking at you Swooz) but I hope they go more into zaun favourites like camille, Warwick(whos guaranteed), blitzcrank, orianna, etc
My guess is they won't be meddling with too many more characters in the next season. The ones who have been introduced need thorough follow up on their stories, and also, I think (though I could and hope to be wrong) they will avoid characters with unconventional designs like Camille, Urgot or Zac because they might be unappealing to general audiences. In that regard even -redacted- is more likely to appear.
With her gameplay I’m hoping for one of two things: 1) she can attack while moving, selecting a target and auto firing (not likely because of Kalista) 2) almost like Energized, her autos deal more damage the more she’s moved, up to a cap
I really think 1 would deem her the same fate as Kalista, so not only I don't think it'll happen but I hope it doesn't. Now, 2 could be interesting, she could have a move speed boost which would allow her to build "energy" to increase damage either from her AA or an ability. It's kinda like Jhin, but instead of not being able to attack due to low atk speed + reload, she can choose not to, which is kinda like Akshan in a sense.

I like the stuff she teases but the fact she's almost exactly like and happier version Zac minus the neat science experiment twist. Just takes the idea of Spider-Man and adds more Disney. So on her I'm meh, not Sara Saraphine level bad but not even Urgot or Mundo level imo
Is she a variant of neon (the new agent on valorant)? They look very similar and they give off the same vibes. Probably because they are or atleast based or inspired of Filipinos and I'm just proud of the presentation not caring if its good or not. And that's a really basic Filipino story you can find a lot of that kind of stuff in a lot of stories family first bayanihan and basically a lot of heroic deeds from unity which makes me proud for the representation no matter if it's good or not (well not scandalous).
okay so I'm not a proffesional character designer or anything but, to be honest, I'm fine with her being quircky and another "pretty anime girl" because i feel like it fits with her lightning and electricity theme. like a happy and quirky girl that's just enjoying life, uses her light hearted emotions and unique power in combination to try and protect her home. like i don't feel like this would work if it was someone who wasn't super expressive like Taliyah. I mean yeah she's happy but not like that super energized, quirky and just bursting out with happiness and excitement like Zeri. I mean just look at that smile on her face. I quite like her :D but again getting many champions that are somewhat simiular in a row can get a bit tireing.

After showing us how cruel and dangerous Zaun is, it's really disappointing to have another gwen/sera. I mean it did work with Gwen cause she was a doll who came to life thanks to the love of Isolde and she kinda represents that childhood innocence. For sera idk she's kinda dumb I guess, but also fits how Piltover thinks everything is fine down below. But a ZAUNITE champion being all happy uwu makes literally no sense, she should be traumatised, but where many have fallen, she persevered and managed to control her powers to finally be able to help all the people around her.
I understand your point, but i was also hoping zaun in league would have something similar to Ekko's sanctuary and group, as far as i know, that doesnt really exist in league other than Ekko follower cards in LoR. Having this one neighborhood to be close to each other? Thats close enough for me. Although it is a bit too uwu, i agree on that, almost felt like the people written weirdly.
You could grow up in a cruel place, face difficult challanges/losses, and still persevere? I think we already have a lot of hardened heros and lots of villains from zaun, so this is a bit refreshing ngl.

Electricity in Zaun caught my attention since I though Zaun's power came form chem-tech, instead of modern sources of electricity, right? It seemed like chem-tech (and its' infrastructure) in canon lore is almost like a point of pride for Zaunites, something entirely unique to their city. From the design and info available right now on Zeri, it seems like the terms are meant to be kinda interchangeable as needed. But in terms of worldbuilding, I imagine Zaun is setup entirely to cater to chem-tech usage (like the rigging of tubes and tanks throughout the undercity, and how that's very different from modern power-lines and wiring, etc). Maybe the end-product is the same either way, like powering a lightbulb, and the 'how' doesn't really matter that much. But it seems like an entirely new chunk of lore was just added for this champion. Maybe it's just me, but it almost feels like it doesn't quite mesh with the rest of the distinct chemistry of Zaun, despite the backstory story and green-ish design and whatnot.

I dont know if Riot was working on the new valorant agents and just copyed to leauge but they look alike. They have the same look, they both have lightning and electricity based powers and are most likely going to be released around the same time. What are your thoughts.

On the topic of her design, she isn't really overtly attractive, nor does being attractive affect her design negatively in any way. The latter is the main reason why people are getting mad about all the super attractive characters.

I quite like her design, she is attractive (and I definitely have a thing for punk fashion) but she's not designed to be "sexy" so I don't think it takes away from her design. Her aesthetics play directly into her character and are entirely how a woman from her background may dress without being fanservice-y, so I like it a lot.

I like her design, I recognize the problem with champions design these last few years, but it is not like all of them are bad and Zeri even being cute doesn't seem exaggeratedly "sexy". But I do hope they start to make champions with more imaginative appearances and some more monster champs too.

My guess is they won't be meddling with too many more characters in the next season. The ones who have been introduced need thorough follow up on their stories, and also, I think (though I could and hope to be wrong) they will avoid characters with unconventional designs like Camille, Urgot or Zac because they might be unappealing to general audiences. In that regard even -redacted- is more likely to appear.

With her gameplay I’m hoping for one of two things:
1) she can attack while moving, selecting a target and auto firing (not likely because of Kalista)
2) almost like Energized, her autos deal more damage the more she’s moved, up to a cap
I really think 1 would deem her the same fate as Kalista, so not only I don't think it'll happen but I hope it doesn't.
Now, 2 could be interesting, she could have a move speed boost which would allow her to build "energy" to increase damage either from her AA or an ability. It's kinda like Jhin, but instead of not being able to attack due to low atk speed + reload, she can choose not to, which is kinda like Akshan in a sense.
So you want a Samira passive (where she rapid fires on a CC'ed target) and a passive Stormraiser. I mean bully for you if you can manage that.
Considering that her spark changes depending on her emotions I think she will most likely have unique one hits based on the situation

Is she a variant of neon (the new agent on valorant)? They look very similar and they give off the same vibes. Probably because they are or atleast based or inspired of Filipinos and I'm just proud of the presentation not caring if its good or not. And that's a really basic Filipino story you can find a lot of that kind of stuff in a lot of stories family first bayanihan and basically a lot of heroic deeds from unity which makes me proud for the representation no matter if it's good or not (well not scandalous).

okay so I'm not a proffesional character designer or anything but, to be honest, I'm fine with her being quircky and another "pretty anime girl" because i feel like it fits with her lightning and electricity theme. like a happy and quirky girl that's just enjoying life, uses her light hearted emotions and unique power in combination to try and protect her home. like i don't feel like this would work if it was someone who wasn't super expressive like Taliyah. I mean yeah she's happy but not like that super energized, quirky and just bursting out with happiness and excitement like Zeri. I mean just look at that smile on her face. I quite like her :D but again getting many champions that are somewhat simiular in a row can get a bit tireing.

After showing us how cruel and dangerous Zaun is, it's really disappointing to have another gwen/sera. I mean it did work with Gwen cause she was a doll who came to life thanks to the love of Isolde and she kinda represents that childhood innocence. For sera idk she's kinda dumb I guess, but also fits how Piltover thinks everything is fine down below. But a ZAUNITE champion being all happy uwu makes literally no sense, she should be traumatised, but where many have fallen, she persevered and managed to control her powers to finally be able to help all the people around her.
I understand your point, but i was also hoping zaun in league would have something similar to Ekko's sanctuary and group, as far as i know, that doesnt really exist in league other than Ekko follower cards in LoR. Electricity in Zaun caught my attention since I though Zaun's power came form chem-tech, instead of modern sources of electricity, right? It seemed like chem-tech (and its' infrastructure) in canon lore is almost like a point of pride for Zaunites, something entirely unique to their city.
From the design and info available right now on Zeri, it seems like the terms are meant to be kinda interchangeable as needed. But in terms of worldbuilding, I imagine Zaun is setup entirely to cater to chem-tech usage (like the rigging of tubes and tanks throughout the undercity, and how that's very different from modern power-lines and wiring, etc).
Maybe the end-product is the same either way, like powering a lightbulb, and the 'how' doesn't really matter that much. But it seems like an entirely new chunk of lore was just added for this champion. Maybe it's just me, but it almost feels like it doesn't quite mesh with the rest of the distinct chemistry of Zaun, despite the backstory story and green-ish design and whatnot.
