I love that Bel'Veth is proof that the Void's purpose has backfired. The Watchers made it adapt to anything so nothing reality throws at it can stop it. Yet that adaptation has caused the Void to want to exist. Now it wants to become as much like life as possible. The Watchers have essentially doubled their problems now.
Pls i want to know one thing. I don't know alot about the void or the watchers, what i know is that they are enemies, how ever the void wants to end the world so they can be a world, then why don't they just, do it, like right away vel alon was this strong But there is more maybe not as strong But so strong like vel'koz or even stronger so ending the world should be an easy thing

@@thedarkebika9488 I think even if belveth could start a war against the world right now, she would not for some factors: 1) she doesn't have the power to challenge every single creature of Runeterra yet, otherwise she wouldn't need Kai'Sa's help. 2) The watchers don't have a clue about what's happening with the void, and that means Bel'Veth still wants to stay in the shadows because she can't afford a battle on two fronts of this caliber. 3) Just because she flexed on Kai'Sa doesn't mean she would stomp anyone... I wonder how it'd go against Aurelion Sol 🤣
@@thedarkebika9488 The Void wasn't able to destroy the world because it was stopped every time. First rift were closed by Aurelion Sol. The big rift in the Frelyord is frozen by Lissandra, the rift in the Western Ocean is held back by Nami's people, the most problematic rift is Ichatia i think its slowly spreads the void. @@Bayoire they did manifest themselves. Only with a little help but they can. but we're instantly betrayed by lissandra. Many got captured in true ice. @@_chishika_ in every place I've seen that phrase used, a bad guy and a good guy team up, take out another stronger bad guy, and than go back to fighting
Other voidborn often acts similar to the creature they're based on. Cho'gath and Rek'sai acts like an apex predator driven by the desire to consume. While Vel'koz wants to destroy reality much like the watchers themselves. But Bel'veth, created by consuming an entire city, acts like a society. it wants to live and thrive.
I like that the reason for Bel'Veth to have a head is less to be attractive (which will always be part of the reason) but is instead to make her approachable. As Kai'sa said, she liked it better when she had the human head. This allows ger to not only be a leader in battle, but also a leader in negotiations. Bel'Veth being a leader and taking a humanoid form is changing the Void from a faceless species of destruction to an actual faction.
Besides, I think Bel'Veth does head can be just part of her imitation and evolution. She does consume emotions and that a potentially gave her enough self awareness and some "humanity".
I think she may be considered separated faction in herself/itself since she wan't to spread and not destroy everything(her spreading will destroy the world, sure but it will not be turned into nothing as Void "want's it".)
The Void did not feel fear when they first erupted into this Universe, they were more "annoyed" than afraid, annoyed that there are alien forces outside of their dimension.
@@VelkanG It literally says they were in pain. Most forms of pain cause a fear response. If someone sprays you in the eyes with pepper spray when you don't expect it. No ones response is, wow annoying. Its confusion, pain and fear. Specifically the void did not scream in joy maybe in rage but even rage is rooted in fear. In fact the lore specifically states that the watchers were; spiteful. The creation of everything brought them pain and they drew spite from this. If you break it down slowly ask your self the questions you will understand. Why do they hate reality? Because before they knew or wanted of nothing and now creation has warped what they were. No ultimate antagonist of the story will be driven by mere annoyance, it makes viego seem justified in comparison. The void hates us. Because we took away what it had, and what it had was certainty in nothing. Uncertainty breeds resentment and resentment breeds fear.
I absolutely LOVE that Bel'Veth is so unquestionable, so unavoidable that the offer of her choice is terrifying. "Your people will be given a chance, a chance that means nothing, but its more than the watchers would give" what a great way to make a partnership with the villain
So bel veth turn out to be somewhat a positive figure, interestingly she might have been affected by human affection and wisdom as she consumed the city, and become the genesis of void revolution. The concepts behind these stories are just brilliant
I wonder what happens to a person who just... sides with Bel'Veth. Accepts that she's the future. Does she kill them? Absorb them? Or do they get to live out their days in the Lavender Sea? If she does kill them or absorb them, what's really left of the person we were within Bel'Veth?
@@GinoSoldier that’s what we all wonder, thing is, she’s actually giving a chance as the void powers sealed in freliord about to erupt.and the phenomenon she realized is other watchers tend to go extreme, or more vicious with reality. So if the end is certain, a chance does worth more than none
I am getting Halo flood vives from vel'beth and i am loving it. Like she is a literall gravemind and those beings are extremely scary in the Halo universe, i mean they are the only reason of why the Halos were built in the first place, a suicidal galaxy wide bomb. So it is exiting to think what is runeterra gonna do to deal with a threat of that scale
Bel'Veth is already so much more interesting than Viego was. It would appear that Riot learned from their mistakes and they actually gave us a villain who is not only threatening, but also complex.
I mean, I’d consider Viego fairly complex, they’re both good villains, in fact, what butchered the Ruination was the way they dealed with the villain. Viego himself it’s pretty solid in concept
They could have done so much more with Viego but they deciced that the champs in Ruination would be anime girls to sell skins instead of going for a proper story. 100% not a Yorick main triggered by what happen in the Ruination /The Ruined King Game. :)
@@Shurikinnn I mostly agree abt the new champs, but Viego himself I think is the exception, he’s pretty great, and mirrors Lucian’s story pretty well. And obv league players complain abt literally anything, like, nothing will ever be good enough, but I agree that there were so many champs that would’ve been great to see interacting with Viego, and they just…didn’t do it
I really wish this is a "ruination but we read our lore and got our shit together" type of event cos, it's the third most world threatening event i could think of, only beaten by the return of mordekaiser and the void finally doing shit
Ikr, before Kaisa was released Kassadin was THE good Void champion, so much potential wasted and went to the "anime void champion". @@Gershelf yeah that's something I dread. Seeing how he was non existed in the Ruination Event, they will most likely shove him aside for Kaisa or possibly Taliyah
just a clarification since this is a huge misconception, the birth of runeterra is what cause the the watchers to woke up not the celestial realm. The celestial realm and the void once existed in a state of balance for countless eons but when runeterra was created by the world runes, its existence perturbed the balance of the universe. Warping both the celestial realm and the void.Thats why it mentions in bards bio that runeterra is producing a dissonant song that is disrupting the natural cosmic order of all things. And in vel'koz and bel'veths bio it mentions that the void was corrupted into ''something'' and that something is the watchers. The watchers are those pieces of the nothing that is forced to "exist".Anti-Gods of oblivion yearning to destroy everything so that they are no longer " something " and restore the voids original purity. And to do that of course they want to destroy runettera since its what cause the unbalance in the first place, and perhaps the celestial realm after that. But their repeated attempts to twist the world against itself took a toll on the Void, and a pattern slowly began to emerge as more and more knowledge and power was absorbed, that pattern is now embodied in Bel'Veth, "the new Void", that is the opposite of the Watchers. The Watchers want to be nothing. Bel'Veth wants to be everything.
@@nagasolaire8462 i think of the void not as an entity, it just a lump of nothingness and produce belveth and watcher, for example, you have water, but it got corrupted (by reality) (boiled) and became hot water (Watcher), but if a water (void) started getting frozen (like for example winter came) then it would became Cold water (Bel veth)
@@nagasolaire8462 the watchers are not voidborns, voidborns are physical constructs created by the watchers after lissandras betrayal, specifically designed to adapt, learn, and devour the world, they're merely the form of a crude matter that comprised it, imbued with consciousness. Also jared rosen the writer for bel'veths lore confirmed on twitter that she is indeed a voidborn, but a voidborn unlike any other since shes basically the result of thousands of years of pattern and knowledge of the watchers tampering with the material realm gradually twisting the voids own image, and that led to bel'veth's birth. What makes her unique from other voidborns though is that she has her own purpose, and is the opposite to the goal of the watchers.

@@mantiez90 Not sure if even ASol could stand up to the full power of the Void. He may create stars, but they created universes. But he could probably handle most every void champ individually, but the Void is an endless army.
I like how they made the human appearance of belveth matter in the story. It really feels like this was in the works ever since the first few void champions were released. I mean almost every modern void champion has some human aspect about them that goes against what the void represents. Kha zix just wants to be the best predator. That is a personal goal that shows an individuality that goes against the mindless, collective destruction of reality that most void creature have. If given the chance kha zix would rebel against the watchers if they threatened his progress to perfect evolution by destroying everything. Velkoz is obsessed with collecting, cataloguing data about the world and it’s inhabitance even to the point that he would destroy fellow void entities that threaten the knowledge he seeks. I believe there is a small part of velkoz that would rebel against the watchers that he profess to serve if they came to destroy the world too early, before he felt he had collected enough information. Reksai is the biggest one for this theory as she represents the void spawn that has one of the most human aspects within her very being. She has a brood, a family and she serves as their mother and protects them all. This completely goes against the principles of the void. They don’t have freinds much less the capacity to care but reksai and the variety of xer’sai that she cares for have built a community with its own territory that she enforce with each xer’sai serving a specific role in the community. This is complex social behavior goes above even most irl animals. I don’t know if riot planned for this but this makes belveth human visage makes complete sense as she is the most human void born desiring not just to rule the world but one of the human trait , the desire to create. That goes completely against the desire to erase that is pinnacle to the void desire.
@@cupidok2768 they didnt void consumed parts of shurima which was already close to icathia where the void was released by the icathians, the god warriors ultimately won and shut the rifts.
Ye this gives me very MMO lore vibes rather than just another League Event, like so much so that it reminds me heavily of how Sargeras story was an overarcing story throughout early wow, always being in the background somehow/someway.. Which leads me to believe Bel'veth/The Watchers will be the same, with Kai'sa being a major character we interact with for this story arc.
I am only partially thru the video, so I don't know if he mentioned it, but on the universe page, there is a short story about Bard, where he and his chimes (given human forms) and searching for some mcguffin to deal with the Void. Something about a giant bell.
Imagine tho BV comes to piltover, as she arrives seraphine hears literally millions of souls screaming (or humming?) Has a breakdown, a telepathic conversation with bel'veth, runs to zaun, tries to warn everyone, is ignored, then left to try and defend shit with the geniuses of zaun (remember there's a whole ass kid that can travel through time just vibin down there that could R E A L L Y help)
Will Vel'koz wonder how she came to be? His purpose is to understand reality for the watchers so they can destroy it. How will he react to something that should be his allie? Does chogath finally got his own part in here🙂
Vel'koz is really no way that strong he is just a pawn for the watcher to get information not more but the encounter would be interesting but 100% fatal for Vel'koz.
My boi Vel Koz sadly seems to be an "underling" for the Void, but i certainly see him taking a more proactive role in this story since he has a bit more intelligence and foresight than the others. Perhaps a void monster revolution?
With this story I feel like Bel’Veth’s design makes a hell of a lot more sense. she’s not a predator hunting people, luring them in with her false appearance before striking. She’s a THING playing at being human. Taking a human shape not out of necessity or cruel efficiency. But out of a desire to emulate. Even if it’s uncanny, strange and incomplete. She’s not just alive. She’s sentient. And that’s freaking horrifying.
Void: "WE SHALL CONSUME EVERYTHING AND MAKE IT OUR OWN" The literal guardians of runeterra (aka. Targonian aspects, gods, sentinels of light, etc): "Ah yes, just an average relaxing Tuesday, isn't it?"
I still think that this "corruption" was only a tease for Kai'sa's direct interaction with Bel'veth- I mean that it probably wouldn't look that way if she actually got corrupted. Besides, from this story we learned that the suit has "feelings", which might mean it's actually fond of her. It didn't betray her when in front of Bel'veth, so I doubt it will in the future.
@@nickdagr8wiz yeah, Kai'sa's suit is also an example of the void evolving into something meaningfull not a mindless consuming thing, and Even though Bel'veth is definetively a Global Threat, she is not an Inmediate one and she can be kinda reason with, she also Kinda has some motherly Vibes in the story
We keep saying Kai'Sa got corrupted with that splash art, but none of us have any idea what we are talking about whatsoever. Her suit in the splash changed/evolved and the implication is because of Bel'Veth. I don't think "corrupted" is the right word at all here, especially when you consider the theory that one of the reasons Kai survived the void is due to Bel'Veth so the suit-voidborn might be related to Bel somehow. From what we know, Bel isn't going to "mind control" Kai or else she would have in Pinwheel. (I also don't think she even does mind control.) It could literally have been just an artistic tease for Bel'Veth, or Bel does upgrade her symbiote.
I’m glad they aren’t doing the event soon, I feel like they have a lot of things to prepare before starting it and I hope they plan a good story arc fitting for the characters that will be involved. Besides, we got a few small events this year to entertain ourselves.
Honestly never stop making content Necrit. I love listening to your videos while I work and have learned so much about league. The game might suck sometimes but the lore is amazing
If she’s going after all the watchers I hope we get to see Lissandra in the event. And if we do I think she’d side with bel veth simply because she has already given up. She is holding the watchers back, but believes that they’re going to destroy everything anyways.
Lissandra is pretty much confirmed to be part of this because bel-veth has an interaction with her in game and lissandra’s involvement is mentioned in bel-veth’s bio and story
Hey Necrit, could you imagine making a huge episode as a special? (e.g. for 1 Million Subscribers) Where you try to tell most of the lore we know until now, like you did a while ago, but an updated version
Kind of late, but I just noticed that in Kai'sa's splash art, there is a void ray fish thing that Bel'Veth summons as minions. The butterfly that was on the boat in the cinematic is also in her splash art, so I think her splash art is a post-Bel'Veth encounter, possibly hinting at her journey to find the watchers.

Bel'Veth is fascinating in that its the void that gives you a chance. Versus the outright annihilation of the watchers. Its a choice that you hate but... If you have to choose. Bel'veth is the one that gives a glimmer of hope.
Im pretty sure the event is going to happen in riot's mmo. Imaging the "Reality vs. Void" worlds war for the sake of existence, its just too EPIC to be a seasonal grind in league of legends. It MUST be some kind of a first-player "you are the hero and YOU are saving the world" experience.
I love that like the void is infecting the reality, the reality is infecting the void in the same way, and the void borns are the creation of the entropy process as the two mixes. Much like life and diversity in the creation is cause by flow of entropy from perfect uniform order to perfect uniform chaos.
Every lore video, every cinematic, every song and every update brings me back to installing league again, and after 2 matches of absolute sadness I immediately regret that decision. It's actually like riot was testing bots in matchmade games rn..
Kai'sa's and Bel'veth's (god that's a lot of apostrophes) confrontation reminds me of Muzan and the lower moon demons. Kai'sa wanted to run, one of the demons run away and got decapitated (which perhaps may had happen to Kai'sa if she really chose to run). They both have the same sense of superiority around them, looking down on lesser beings, watching, observing. The only difference is that Bel'veth is more... benevolent.
That to and Micheal Jackson of the KnY verse is a fucking coward, dude never learned how to actually fight, he just uses his superior physique to steam roll all weaker than him, he has ptsd from a battle that happend like 400 years ago. Muzan is a bitch a strong one, but still a big bitch, Bell' Veth is an actual leader, Quenn, Empress.
What I'm getting from this is that bel'beth isn't a villain per say. She's more like an anti-villain with her own goals and motivations asside of the watchers. I guess the only thing capable of destroying the void, is the void
Necrit talking about how powerful and scary she is and then showing a picture of her is so funny to me. Sadly her model doesn't look scary at all while in the cinematic she looked hella scary...
So kai sa has two options. Help belveth kill the watchers and maybe buy time for her or someone else to gain the strength to kill belveth (cost of this being helping belveths plans) or attempt to fight both knowing that as of now no one can defeat belveth, (save for maybe bard and aurelion but i doubt she even knows much about them let alone cross her mind)
Bel'veth: Maybe in time u can find a warrior to face me Malphite, The darkin, Jax, the shuriman ascended, the targon ascended, the celestial champs and AURELION SOL: hold my beer
Like maybe I'm underestimating bel'veth abit but I feel like the second kai'sa stumbles into like 3 of the groups/ champs mentioned above bel'veth's not ganna seem so tough anymore Like it wouldn't really even be that hard really Malphite would probably just show up eventually n u can just go meet up with azir who can probably help u get Nasus involved Or Kai'sa can just go to zillean n he can just help her Dr strange everyone together

Bel'veth talks about kai'sa finding a weapon that could kill her, what if Ornn is the one who will make said weapon? He already made a entire bridge that could trap the Watchers, who are more powerful than Bel'veth, he could forge sometinhg to at least trap her too.
While Ornn did craft the bridge, the metal that was used was given to him by Lissandra and her sisters, and all of it was used to make the bridge, with whatever is left being used to make Ornn's favourite hammer.
First, Ornn did make the bridge for trapping the Watchers, but the Watchers didn't get trapped because of him. Not to mention that this story is only a fairy tale inside the Freljord, so its not guaranteed that its even true. Second, we don't know if Ornn knows anything about the lands besides Freljord at all, especially not Shurima, which is at the other side of the world. He wouldn't even know that Bel'veth exists

I’m pretty sure they stated at one point that arcane would be more like a show called american horror story if you know what I’m talking about in the sense that they will tell stories from the same overarching universe (in this case the league universe) but every season they will swap from say the stories of characters like vi and jinx in piltover and zaun of S1 to say Ionia, and explore the characters like Irelia, Demacia with Garen, Lux, Vayne, or even the fight against the void like you said with the void characters
I have a theory, that might sound streach. What if the cinematic with Kaisa and Belveth happent in the past, so the corruption in her art is when Kaisa go to North in order to fight the wathers. Im not 100% sure on the map places but lets say what if Pantheon end up in Feylord after his fight with Leona? As Kaisa and Pantheon fight the watchers, pantheon find out his weapons are not effective, this is where Orn comes as he craft a weapon for pantheon in order to fight the watchers. Pantheon then with his new power face with Belveth and the fight ends like last season with Viego, bad guy lose, the exile hero get his redemtion and life continues to runetera.
Pantheon and Leona fought on Targon in the cinematic, and after that Pantheon flied to space, not to Freljord. The Watchers are also so strong, that even Aurelion would be killed off by them, so Pantheon would stand no chance against them. Also, Kai'sa's story couldn't happen in the past, because she met Taliyah recenty, and there she wasn't corrupted.
This sounds like totally Tomernta RPG (Brazillian RPG system). It is exactly the same principle: There's another dimension that wants to invade your world in search of something. In Tormenta's case, the invaders wants to become God, bc in their reality they already consumed everything and became one, even time they've consumed, but they couldn't become gods. In Runeterra, Void wants to invade to simply consume and exist. And it's fun to see that the area that became the Lavender Sea is Void/Bel'Veth, meaning that area is one merged with its surroundings. In Tomenta happens the same: The area that gets corrupted becomes one with the Tormenta. Areas consumed in both scenarios are just one entity. Really like the way the lore is going so far, bring me back memories
I half expected Kassadin to warp in at the last minute, and warp kai'sa out of there, or at least attempt to do so...given that she was the only reason he is still roaming the void....not knowing his doughter can by will just get out of the void when she finds a tunnel.
The Sound is Seraphine. It is going to break the silence of the Void & all of existence including the Watchers. Seraphine will be the only one remaining in the end.
Theres a reason why Pan is flying up to Mt. Targon in The Call. I believe that he had heard of the destruction of Belveth and the spreading of the Void, and therefore he would strike a deal with the Space Sass
My knowledge on league lore is limited to Renekton and Nasus are brothers and that Illaoi likes mangos, but looking at Bel'Veths attack speed we can easily deduce that she's a massage therapist. Ez
Bold to assume that reality (or, in that case, Runetera's reality) is different that the "uncanny" world of bel'veth. Reality itself is just like her world, bizarre, disturbing with missing parts.
Do you think that perhaps they're leading up to a Shadow isles vs The void event somewhere down the line? I was Wracking up my brains as to who in lore would have an advantage over Bel, and my mind came to Thresh, being she's made up of So much knowledge and experience it seems to me she's a massive collection of possible souls, perhaps the magic of the shadow isles could disrupt her quite effectively. After all the void wants to unmake everything, but the shadow isles have seen death and erasure and still persisted. Perhaps only they who have defied non existence once, have the power to combat that which specialises in erasing.
I'm imagining a scenario: Bel'Veth pretty much consumes and integrates souls. Thing is, these souls should go somewhere else once the body is killed, the Death Realm. And I personally think that its self-appointed Kaiser will not take kindly to stealing what he believes belongs to him.
Since this is 100% turning into a sentinels of light sorta deal, if there's a group of people I could think of that stand a chance it'd be Swain, Lux, The acended, a stretch but Thresh, also a stretch but Le-blanc, Ryze, and Aurelion sol

The way the void becomes corrupted with each thing they eat may be hinting that cho'gath rework would allow him steal part of the enemy when he ults or his abilities mutates depending on what he eats.
I hope we get a lore event, I got really hyped up for a lore event this summer. Come on riot you can't make it all about egirls on the beach. This looks very cool lorewise but i'm a bit bummed they didn't talk about zilean and jax. And I know the next rework is udyr and skarner but I feel like a zilean and cho'gath rework, at least a VGU would make this event even better. If they're really postponing it, i hope they update those two and give cho some lore and polygons.
Void Event could possibly be a year from now, if not longer. They'll continue building slow hype for it though, like they have been. It might even be that the Void event we are thinking of will be with the release of the MMO; makes total sense that the big bad in the MMO is going to be the Void. As for the next event, it's going to be the Star Guardian one. Won't hear that from Necrit though until Riot announces it officially because apparently leaks are bad.
I feel like riot adding a champion to encompass the event is just putting the story in an awkward spot. There's really not a great way forward where everyone lives, and riot isn't huge about killing off champs because it ends their story. Even viego is just sealed off and he's probably the most removed from the story they've ever made a champion. So either a lot of champs get corrupted by the void and we sit on that because we can't have them win or lose, Bel'veth decides she doesn't want to eat everything, Bel'veth only kills the watchers and basically just replaces them, or Bel'veth is wholly unsuccessful and is an overhyped cartoon villian screaming she'll win next time. Personally the kills the watchers and replaces them is my favorite as it opens runeterra to have more prophets like malzahar and can sustain their status quo while still moving the story forward, but its not really a solution. Thats just how i feel about bel veth though.
Any BBEG that's a world ending threat has to be sealed away in some form if they're a champion. mordekaizer, viego, & aurelion sol, for example. My guess is that she will end up replacing the watchers/ruination as the impending apocalypse. It's possible she might even be a minor ally during certain events, since she's shown not to be in a rush to consume everything and isn't opposed to working with humans if it benefits her goals. Totally possible everyone leaves the sleeping bear alone while preparing counter measures until it wakes up and to expand its domain.
@@michaelkennell2420 and who knows when this would happen? Maybe it will take a milenia when she wants to. I think she waits only because she can consume more and better information. Like cheese ore wine (god a bad comparison) the longer to simmer (is that the right word) the better it gets
@@SoulOri for sure, she basically says "I'll get around to it eventually(tm)" lol. I'm sure there will be more pressing threats and she'll just be chilling in the background similar to Zyra.
The biggest problem with League's story, is that its just a product, not a work of art that they first wanted it to be. The story and popular characters could never meet the end, because thats not how business works. They will keep adding new champions to the lore, but because they will have too many, they won't be able to give enough attention to most of them. LoL's story will eventually end up as WoW's, repeating and haulted, never ending. I can't see any reason for this not happening, even if I hope it didn't
@@tamas9554 that's true, people seem to forget this is pure marketing. As nice as it is and as artistic as it can get it's still marketing to buy things and engage with a product. Things are added to captivate our attention and draw us to the game, their product. The plot consequences of adding characters are not really a problem since they achieve their primary function.
my biggest question is how do primordial entities like fiddle or A Sol interact with Bel'Veth Like could fiddle embody Bel'Veth's fear? or would he embody the fear of those she consumed?

I want Riot to take all the time they need to make the story good, like they did with Arcane. I think there will be a void event, except this time it will be Watchers vs Champs (probably mostly involving the frelijord), and next time it will be kai'sa+zilean+everyone else vs Bel'veth
@@dimasbram7176 Indeed, my answer is like "Yeah the mist can take over your mind but the void can corrupt your body and soul." But the guy kept asking so this exists.
The Void can destroy anything it touches, even souls, so that would definetly win over the black mist. The black mist wouldn't really be dangerous to something like the old Shuriman empire, because they knew much about the rules of their universe. But because the current civilisations in Runeterra are not very advanced, the mist poses a great threat to them.
After reading comments and well some knowledge, i can only summon up a few possible Champions that deal with that kind of... thing Zoe: She Twisted the Viod Corrupted Ascendet to the now Darkins, so she had the power to influence somekind of void curription, maybe she got the power to do something... Aurelion Sol: Maybe they find a way to get him, get his powers back without wanting to destroy runeterra in raging fury because of what targon did... Kindred: Shes Death, maybe something like the teased end of all can do something against the Void, but that would end well... all... Targonians/Celestials: I dont know... seeing how Pantheon died fighting Aatrox, i dont think they can do much about it, i would rank a Darking lower the Bel'Veth, but we still dont know exactly how poerful Bard and Zoe can be if they have to intervene.
Zoe didn't twist the Ascended to Darkins, she wasn't even alive that time. The Ascpect of twilight only imprisoned the Darkin, who are basically just regular Ascended, really besides the name they are the same. Kindred is not strong at all, she is just a spirit like Maokai or Volibear. She represents death, but she only comes for those who believe in her. Also, because Bel'veth has no soul, since she is a voidborn, Kindred couldn't even hurt her, theoretically.
Honestly, I won't mind if we don't get the void event very soon. I'd rather the story builds up and more lore and characters parts are introduced so the final event is truly amazing. Like for instance the Ruination event was rushed right after the teasers, and look how all that turned out.
I think it's potentially leading up to the mmo Riot confirmed that the void monster they were teasing months ago is not Bel'Veth. It's a new void champion set to release early next year. So yeah they're going to drag this out
With the reference to bard it makes me think that wherever he's from could be another new "void-ish" realm where we could get crazier looking mystic brings like he is
I like how just terrifying bel, veth giving herself the name is. Like the first true proof void became more than some mindless mass of monsters but instead realizing her own ego and the face that name she has is that of a city she consumed entirely... I just imagine if he wins she'll call herself runterra and the old reality would have everything taken even the very name it has
Technically, the Shuriman Ascended are the ones with the power to quell the Void. Darkins are previous Ascended sealed into their own weapons because of their bretrayal to the Empire, so it's debatable if they're as strong or weaker than the still alive Ascended- Nasus, Renekton, Azir and Xerath.
@@nickdagr8wiz The Darkin's are not as strong as they once were, but even then, Aatrox killed Pantheon, an Aspect, in a 1v1. I think the Darkin are still posing the greatest threat to Runeterra besides the Void, or more precisely, Voids.
@@tamas9554 I meant like a real weapon. Aatrox wouldve never killed Pantheon if he didnt stab him with the Darkin blade. Darkin weapons have power to kill immortals, even Aatrox mentions it.
@@aatroxtheworldender933 Aatrox's soul, that is infused with Aurelion's celestial magic, is inside the sword. He is the sword, and its not the sword itself is what killed the Pantheon, it was Aatrox. The sword is not special, only Aatrox is
I would love if the event made us choose a side watchers or Bel'Veth and depends on what side we choose the lore would change as well because the last event wasn't that good
In the Legend of the five rings collectible cardgame, the winners of tournaments and their factions shaped the story behind the game. It was very big lorewise and players actually had an impact. That is the reason why it had a huge following.
So here are some facts 1. Kai’sa’s armor is unique. 2. Void adapt with conflict 3. Bel’Veth stabbed Kaisa The key to winning is Kaisa’s Armor learning something/adapting
It probably fits the lore better for her to be so analytically emotionless, but I kinda wish they had kept the anger/sorrow of all the people that died creating her- wanting to destroy the void out of revenge for killing them, and destroy Runeterra for failing to protect them.

Watchers: create void to erase reality
Void: becomes reality
Sad watchers sounds
just a clarification since this is a huge misconception, the birth of runeterra is what cause the the watchers to woke up not the celestial realm.
Honestly I just don't get it. if watchers and belveth are all voidborns aren't they all the same? Like some puppets of the void itself

Truly the reincarnation of "If you stare into the Abyss, the Abyss will stare into you."
Yep, feels very much like the vastness of Sargeras + The Burning Legion. had from WC3>WoW
That "I'll give you time, however much time you want. It will be futile, but it will be a chance" is a god tier line
The only difference is that Bel'veth is more... benevolent.

Probably the reason for the splash art is related to reworking Kai'sa since the void evolves and changes so does her parasitic armour
What I'm getting from this is that bel'beth isn't a villain per say. She's more like an anti-villain with her own goals and motivations asside of the watchers. I guess the only thing capable of destroying the void, is the void

Bel'veth: Maybe in time u can find a warrior to face me
Malphite, The darkin, Jax, the shuriman ascended, the targon ascended, the celestial champs and AURELION SOL: hold my beer

God I love these videos you cleanly explain the lore to me when I. didnt understand it after reading it thank you and keep it up!
Did Ornn build the bridge on the howling abyss?

The Void: You are what you eat! You become what you consume!
Bel'veth: Literally?
The Void: Literally.
Seraphine will be the only one remaining in the end.
the true bad ending
The true evil
Bel'Veth: Bring a champion who can defeat me.
Kai'Sa: *Brings Aurelion Sol*
Bel'Veth: Wait, that's illegal!
Theres a reason why Pan is flying up to Mt. Targon in The Call. I believe that he had heard of the destruction of Belveth and the spreading of the Void, and therefore he would strike a deal with the Space Sass
this video throws me back to 2018 man... the nostalgia is real...
So weird question. Wasn't Kassadin already crazy? Like his want to save Kai'sa turning to revenge and then an obsession y'know, like the Doom Slayer?
I would love to see an animation where he slays void creatures like Doom Slayer.
I don't see why the Void event wouldn't happen after her release. Pretty sure we'd still get the event quite soon

Ocean Song isn't an event, it's a skinline
but nobody ask "how is bel'veth"
I’ll do you one better. WHY is Bel’Veth??
@@dimasbram7176 Indeed, my answer is like "Yeah the mist can take over your mind but the void can corrupt your body and soul."

The Void can destroy anything it touches, even souls, so that would definetly win over the black mist.
I think it's potentially leading up to the mmo
Riot confirmed that the void monster they were teasing months ago is not Bel'Veth. It's a new void champion set to release early next year.

1. Kai’sa’s armor is unique.
2. Void adapt with conflict
3. Bel’Veth stabbed Kaisa
The key to winning is Kaisa’s Armor learning something/adapting
It probably fits the lore better for her to be so analytically emotionless, but I kinda wish they had kept the anger/sorrow of all the people that died creating her- wanting to destroy the void out of revenge for killing them, and destroy Runeterra for failing to protect them.
