My onions were pretty small this year too. Hopefully next year they'll do better. Still...they'll all get used gratefully. Your soup has everything I love and a lot of things Hubby doesn't so I'll make up a batch and freeze it into cubes so I can have a bowl for lunch throughout Autumn and just fix something else for him. The only difference was our window above the sink was very large. I enjoyed working in that kitchen. Now, I’m in Arkansas, and my kitchen is very different, but, still workable. I'm so glad you used turkey sausage for this recipe, as my family does not eat pork and it's great to know how it works out with alternatives.
We prefer to use turkey or chicken in most recipes as it is less greasy for our family too : )-Cara
