Inside look at Nelly's 10,700 square foot mansion in Wildwood, Missouri right next to Hidden Valley Ski Resort.
**This is NOT MY LISTING. As mentioned in the video, I was doing a showing for a buyer.
We went to give a tour to one of our buyers, so I thought I'd take the camera with me for it! This place hit the market at a price of $599,000 in a short sale. Nelly bought it with the intention of renovating it, but the work was never completed (as you will see in the video lots needs to be done)

I think this is the property that Nelly walked away from after his sister died. His sister & her children lived there with him. It was emotionally 2 much 4 him 2 continue living there.

I remember first visting my cousin Cornell's house you all know him as Nelly when i went down to St.Louis for our family reunion i seen him for my first time it was an amazing feeling to just know that he is my family the house was lovely food was amazing and we all had a wonderful time

Would be a beautiful home if only it were in a more moderate climate. The winters are cold and summers hot so on top of all the other expenses, with all the beautiful soaring ceilings and windows, the heating and cooling would be a huge expense in itself!
There is plenty of natural light coming through. The only thing I dislike are winding staircase. The house is beautiful.

If that inspection checks out it would be a good deal when you said lot's of work i was picturing some of the rental property that i had to start from scratch on that's actually not that bad.

Nelly lived there for a while. The graffiti room proves it. Tre is his sons name. Everyone says it needs a lot of work but nobody explains what type of work it needs. Carpet, a pool, and a power washer I get it. But why discount the cost so much for a home in a hot market that has 10,000+ sqf? I saw cracks in the sub flooring on a picture online. My guess is that it’s sliding down the hillside and needs significant foundation repair.
From what I saw when I was there, the foundation didn't seem in bad shape. The house definitely needs new flooring, replace the bathrooms and kitchen (low grade counters and cabinets were used and never finished), the exterior dryvit siding needs fixing in some areas where there's holes and cracks, house needs new windows, and there's probably issues with some of the gutters or roofing because water damage was visible inside all over the walls and ceilings.

This is a home ideal for a big family and lonesome to a single or married couple because of its sheer size, but it makes a difference if it is surrounded by like mansions. By itself, standing in the middle of nowhere have that lonely feel. Ideal to convert into a Airbnb, retreat house, bed and breakfast.

My husband and the crew he works on went down and did some of the remodel on that place

The main reason it wont sell is because it is LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT TO THE “ski resort”. Its driveway connect to the main road that leads there and its not all that good of a “ski resort”.

Definitely several hundred thousand. Depends on if you want to keep the kitchen & baths he put in or start over with something higher quality, and if you want to finish the pool expansion he started but never finished
