  • Way off in the distance of a neighborhood of multimillion dollar mansions, there's a property that is now vacated from all memories it once had. This mansion was constructed by a man who had money , too much he could handle. He created this home and didn't anticipate the electric bill or funds needed to keep up with all the home's needs, and later realized he dug himself into a hole. Not wanting to keep the home he built, he put it on the market where no one was silly enough to purchase it. Later it was used in reality TV shows on such networks like, MTV and HBO. But once those contracts came and went, mold and other decay started to happen and the house was taken off the market. Which leads us to today, exploring what is left in this once grand mansion suited for a king and queen. If you enjoy leave a thumbs up and subscribe for more exploring content.

But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.

It’s so sad to see abandoned mega mansions, like this. I would imagine when it was built people were excited, and in love with their homes. Now they’re just wasting away to nothing. And what amazes me is how many people out there are homeless while things like this just sit abandoned

You have to wonder what what wrong. It hurts to see the island in the kitchen and imagine there was a time this home was filled with family and love. But the excessiveness is ridiculous. Those amazing amenties would lose their "cool" factor real quick. How often do you think that basketball court was used? But, back to my point, there was a time where it brought a family great joy. Sad

It feels oddly eerie going through the house -- frozen in time and frozen wishes/dreams along with it. The amenities inside this house is atypical of how the new millionaire builds their "ideal" house. It takes a good bit of financial acumen to manage and maintain a property this size and, if the original owner who built this did intend it for his children, most kids when they become adults would rather live with their OWN immediate family than have all the siblings & in-laws under one roof in compound. This house definitely confirms/affirms my feelings or thoughts of living in a mega mansion. Thanks for sharing.

@@sunlightangel87 The customer I picked up there was actually one of the people in charge of fixing up the place and that was in November/December 2018 or maybe Spring 2019. I think she was a real estate agent, but she was also fixing it up. I think she was a house flipper. When I picked her up there, it was a mess. Weeds were all over the driveway/garage etc. It needed a lot of work and the crew probably worked around the clock to make it sale worthy. I didn't really get a good look inside because there were security cameras. There is a security guard house at the beginning of the driveway. It's in such a weird spot. You go up this hill, and it's on the right. You can't see the house from the street because it's surrounded by so many trees. Andover is a rich town. Lots of mansions of all sizes.

      Mark my words.
The first company that successfully mines outer space, will rule this world.
America had all this wealth and just got lazy. The reason we have a genius visa, is that the government gave up on it's people, and didn't educate properly. America is a throw away society, in that they trash their people, and throw them away. I have seen this. The owner of the company, I used to work for, had their kids start at the bottom, so they became better people in the end. That is rare, and I don't see that often, but what I do see, is people that didn't earn their position, and blow daddy's fortune, being jerks in the process, with nothing to build of from.

That floor warping isn't from water damage. That entire row popping up is caused by pressure on the floor from expansion and contraction. If you don't leave enough space in between the floor and wall as the floor boards expand they will hit the wall and force the weakest row to pop.

Usually it's because their houses are so big that they don't even use a lot of the rooms so when furnishing them they prioritize looks over comfort because they're rarely ever going to use it anyways. Everyone thinks they want a huge house but in reality unless you have a huge family or throw parties all the time after a few months when the initial excitement wears off you start spending less and less time in those "bonus" rooms. Like wine cellars, of course I'd like to have one in my house but I know I'd rarely use it. It's basically just a cool looking closet for wine that costs as much as a used car. Although we don't like to admit it, people often buy things simply because they look cool, and in turn will make them look cool for owning it.

0:19 I can't wait to go inside! Beautiful
Edit: this would make a great party house/airbnb rental. It would be nice to treat my staff and their plus 1 to a 4 day weekend at this place as a way of saying thanks.

Abandoned..and I live in public housing. This is sad. I want NO PITY. I do want people to not take their health for granted. You can be a college graduate like me and end up in public housing with no car because of poor health. Then I see stuff like this. I'm thankful for the roof over my head. I hope whomever left this house abandoned never has to feel pain and suffering.

@@mzterisue805 Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I have Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, 2 heart attacks, 3 blood clots, 8 knee surgeries including a total knee replacement. The Crohn's has spread from my small intestine into my stomach and my esophagus. I am also 59 years old, and a partridge in a pear tree!! LOL..Gotta laugh!! I've nevr wanted a mansion nor expected one. However, a nice log cabin in The Smoky Mountains with a fireplace would be my dream come true!! A girl can dream, right?

flat screens were available in 2004-2005. SO I am going to guess they this was before then. The house has a feel of early 2000's in the decor.

That Samsung TV at the pool on the wall had the old logo font on it and a quick search tells me that the current font came in from 1993 onwards, so this place could be early to mid 90's potentially.

Well I Was enjoying watching this before an ad break of 4 minutes began as I watch on my tv other than that it looks awesome & I can’t the life for me understand all these deserted homes & people who have not just the money to build these homes, but to leave them to literally rot. Cheers & thanks from NZ, I have subscribed, ad break or not 🙂

It’s always weird to see mansions like this with furnishings like those TV’s left inside. Frozen in time. That is until someone buys them or neglect, vandals and nature pretty much overtake them. Imagine what that basketball court will look like in another couple of years with nobody stepping in to make repairs.

There’s a couple abandoned buildings in Cattaraugus NY that I would LOVE to see you make videos on. I grew up there and only went inside the old abandons elementary school. Please explore it and the other building we have in town!

That was a really nice house. It needed to be renovated and updated, but it was super nice considering.
