The Bloop was the name given to strange low frequency sound waves detected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 1997. The sound was consistent with the noises generated by cryosisms of large icebergs, or large icebergs scraping the ocean floor, but in 2002 it was said that it would also be compatible with huge marine animals. NOAA believes that it established a conclusive analysis and that the noise was related to ice but NOAA says they are icebergs.

To be fair to the animals, normal size would probably match the environment since kids are more likely to survive due to smaller stomachs post 80% of world dying

Of course he does. Literally every video he makes is him playing worse than a 7 year old and screaming and flipping the camera around like he's having a seizure at every little thing. He overacts and oversells the "terrified imbecile" shtick so freaking hard that the video just becomes a bland pastiche of him crying and shouting at every little thing. When everything is terrifying, nothing is terrifying.

the fact he stops shortly before it happens because he caught sight of the model cli[ping through the floor seconds earlier and pressed on, with the dark and quiet atmosphere of the facility just made for a perfect one two punch.

I know the dark shaders make it look super creepy and stuff but it’s kinda annoying
Man I absolutely love to lower the brightness in games to be more realistic, but that fades when it becomes night or I enter a darker area and I can't see jack and I realize why the standard brightness is where it's at
I can't see anything! I raised the brightness of my own screen and it did nothing. It's ruined the entire video for me. I can't even watch it. There's no point! I'm 6 minutes in and I can't see ANYTHING going on.

Imagine if they made a Subnautica game with areas big enough to reasonably house monsters THAT huge. That'd be the most horrifying experience ever. Holy shit it's tail just kept going and going and going and going... And what's scarier that outside the crater's edge, the creatures canonically get to be that absolutely massive. And not just Ghost leviathans.

I think the bloop should spawn where you actually hear the noise in game and should be absolutely massive, like damn near game breaking size

The bloop scared me more than the gargantuan leviathan. Gargantuan is impressive, but bloop is terrifying in the dark.
I know I'm a year late, but I just wanna say in my opinion the gargantuan leviathan is too over the top, it just isn't the same as a reaper or the bloop.

The first time I saw the Emperor Leviathan's first message, I thought a ghost leviathan was charging at me from out of the Kelp Forest and it scared the shit out of me

The mod for the alien gun is real but is really op and might ruin the game, that's your choice
There is also a mod to use a viking sword found in an other base. It's less OP and can be very epic if you manage to kill a leviatan with it
Well, considering IGP beat it in EA (as much as one could), then beat it post release, as the Devs intended, he can "ruin the game" as much as he wants.
Most people follow the metric of only beating the game once, before modding. Guess even 2x isn't good enough without you weighing in your 2 cents. So, serious question: how many times must one beat a game vanilla style before you accept that modding will not ruin their play experience, as devs intended (since they've already experienced it 'enough' times)? That after that point, the intention is not to play as the devs intended?
