Every coach tried to tell me to crossover first. I always told every coach they were wrong. I did like Ricky and picked up my right foot and exploded.

John Mcdaniel as a player of a lower league....I would like to tell you if you take my word cool and if you don’t then don’t but if you crossover your legs you can slip and bust your stuff and you can fall so a non crossover move would be better

Watch Ricky. He’s the only guy to study, or at least there’s no need to watch anyone else unless you are enormous like Judge or something but he likely won’t be stealing many bags going forward

I am the best at stealing bases on my team even though I am only the 4th fastest player on my 12u travel ball team. I am the only one on my team who knows how to hook slide but I want to be able to still be able to steal bases at an older age.

Just sent this to my son. He’s a college player. Good base stealer. This explained exactly what I wanted to make sure he was doing. 👍

Brett could project better. He remains in flexion early on...
