I dont have this tool in my area, and its cost a fortune to order online
This is lifesaving, thank you very much stranger
Excellent video, well done. Very informative. The woodworking portion really made it. Cheers.
Nice job! Maybe one day those that say I’ll get mine from Amazon suddenly realize, I wish I knew how to diy a pricking iron lol! I think you did a great job and thanks for sharing brother!
I enjoyed watching this. Your methods are intriguing and gave me some interesting insights on problem solving.
Lots of excellent hand work there. Nicely handcrafted.
G'day from down under. Obviously you are one of the "Highly Creative Cultured Craftsman". Very Rare. There are many things in this world money cannot buy: YOUR TALENT. Keep going buddy. Good on you. Don't worry if some people don't even understand what creative talent means. I witnessed a very interesting encounter: years ago there was an accomplished senior artist was doing a sketch- on the spot painting of scenery on canvas, there was other person approached with a camera hanging on his neck. He took a snap photo (old film camera) of that scenery this artis was working on. He made a comment: my camera is quicker than his way of doing painting..??
Thx for the kind words i really apreciate it and ill return with more posts soon
Təşəkkürlər!!! Yaxşı ki öyrətdiniz, bilmirdim bu aləti hardan tapım, adi çəngəldən düzəltmək olarmış!
Thanks!!!
Nice work. Very relaxing and satisfying
Bro, Nice!
Great! But I'll get mine off Amazon.
Thx for by-hand step-by-step. EU forks are round tines. Would like to try with an 8-14 tine angel food cake slicing fork and bar-hammer.
Awesome! About the only thing I'd add to this is a copper endcap on the handle to keep the wood from betting banged up when you hammer on it, and to stop the face of a mallet from getting marred by the steel of the fork.
Yep nice idea
Enough work, but the result was worth the effort. Like!
That was satisfying and relaxing to watch. ☺️
That's alot of work, they're only 12bucks.😁
Yeah but some kids dont have 12 bucks :). But have a fork :)) its just a novelty
@@rotarvalentin Lol...you are correct 👌! I know I didn't, when I was in junior high. 😁
Plus, it’s way more fun to make it yourself 😊
Job well done sir.
.......for those with more time than money.....still though, very nice job!
I feel like if you’d been a POW in a camp you’d have been the guy making shovels out of spoons and zip guns from office supplies...😁 Good job! PS you really should feed those chipmunks! 🐿
Hahaha, thank you
MacGyver on steroids.
Haha 😂
Genius
Sweet 👍🏻 👍🏻
COMPLIMENTI BRAVISSIMO..
STAVO APPUNTO CERCANDO UNA DISTANZA MAGGIORE TRA UN FORO ALL'ALTRO ALMENO DI 1 CM GRAZIE PER LA CONDIVISIONE 😊

Saludos cordiales desde Londres, Provincia de Catamarca, Argentina.
Beautiful
MUITO BOM O TRABALHO CEU😮
Muy bien 👍 Saludos
I am rather worry with the way he cuts piece of timber with an axe while his fingers were under it. Other than that he is an excellent craftsman no doubt for that. But one would never know while he slams the axe on top of wood, it might goes the wrong way. Hope not
Always put the axe on the wood and then gently tap it after it bites the wood stay clear of that piece :)). I could have just used the bandsaw but wanted to use all tools because not all guys have power or fancy tools. So far kept them all fingers atached 😅😅
P.s that was a bad axe but it was close by
@@rotarvalentin naw man just lay the wood sideways while holding the axehead directly to it and slap it down for a safe split. I thought I was being safe until my axe jumped and I cut my thumb off. Don't be like me.
I loved it
Ingenios !!! M-am abonat.
Exelente !!
Wow, lots of work, seems to function well, great job making this with hand tools.
Tried to use all kinds of tools, i had a belt grinder but some people don't thats why i went with hand stuff
Thanks ❤❤
Impresionante!. Buen trabajo!
Thank you
excellent!
No
Not how to shape the tips as they should not be straight but angle. I need to rebuild mine as I know better.
It can cause thread not to be straight later in use
As ive said before there are many types of pricking irons...straight tips or diamond or round tips... so you know better
👍
What about to finger's care with axe? I guess....
I am with you very very much.....worrying indeed
Im more than careful 😅

Bene!!!

:))) xmass time
I rather buy from shoppee than wasting my time..
You do that 😇
Many times doing things yourself is part of the entertainment.
@@rotarvalentin he can put chemicals together and drink it rather wait for top class wine to mature. Why buy old masters' painting mill$$$$ if he can photoshop and print? Wow!
Well, this dude is one of the "high Cultured Craftsman" I suppose. There are many things in the world money cannot buy
Pricking iron must have 45 degree hole. This is not usefull.
There are multiple types of pricking irons, straight prong, 45 degree prong, round prongs... So yes its a pricking iron... Just google it 😉
@@rotarvalentin I like the straight prong pricking irons much more than the 45 degreee ones.
@@michaelmayer106 i use all kinds depending on the job, french style pricking irons i like the most
