Hey Aluxers, are you ready for the metaverse?
Let us know if there is anything in this video you would like us to make a dedicated video on!
Make a video on How to create, manage, sell and keep earning through NFT
Thank you!!!!!
Thanks for the video, ALUX! I was looking for an intro to this and you brought it; today of all days since it's my birthday too, haha!
Can you make a video diving further into the purchasing digital land part of things, and how one makes money from it?
Thanks Alux!

We'll see how much intereset there is on the NFT side of things and maybe we'll dive deeper at some point!

When people’s online lives are better than their real ones, they’ll abandon their real lives.

I miss the simple analog world. Sorry, but I like tangible reality. True handwritten letters, real cream in real coffee, solid wood furniture, the ticking of a weight chain clock, garden fence discussions, coins in my pocket, leather bound books, pencil scratching on paper. I don't want to get sucked into a world of pixels that is causing the real world to die as mining and pollution kill off everything in the name of a virtual existence. We were not biologically or psychologically designed for this.
I agree

The internet still feels like a dream to me. I was born in 2000, first time I saw a computer was when I was 12, it drew me in instantly. Today I work in tech, computers have changed radically but I long for things to do offline, read books, meet people not through an app. The internet is almost like a visage for people you're everything you want to be but also just a blip on someones phone.
well good luck with that and im afraid that you will become grumpy old wo/man

Work on yourself, there is no limit to what you can achieve. Trade bitcoin today and become a future millionaire. Don't let the new online money opportunity pass you by. Fortunately great investors of the past and present can provide us with guidance.
Successful trading require discipline, patience, adaptability, mental toughness, independence, and forward thinking.
After watching several RUclips tutorial videos about trading I am still making losses, please I seek for a better website.
I thought of investing in forex in 2019 but i was discouraged by my friends, due to fake profiles manager.
@@marjorieyang9159 Yes, It's not watching tutorial videos and wasting time on strategies, I was also ignorant doing so till I Met expert Mr Jay Pelle FX. Sometime early last year at a startup funding event in New York City.
He had some interesting things to say about the state of algorithmic trading today, very obviously I'm seeing the results, and my trading is going smoothly.
Trade with an expert else you will lose all your capital and you will drop off the market
The importance of professional mentorship of an expert should be the first step of trading
Bitcoin is the future, investing in it now will be the wisest thing to do , especially with the current rise
People will be kicking themselves in a few years if they miss this precious opportunity to trade and invest in binary options this period
I have been trading under expect Dylan J Mason platform, he made me $23,000 with an investment plan of $4,000
The first time I told my wife that i was investing in forex trade, she was angry and told me that I will lose all the money I invested in it
Now she is happy with what I'm earning from binary options
As an adult, Im looking to make money off of it, but I will limit my time in the metaverse because I believe it's going to make the youth more weird and simple minded than social media already has. There's two sides to this. You're not going to convince me that nothing bad will come with the good.
Basically there will be a few smart individuals profiting and even getting smarter from new technologies and a lot more people getting dumber and mindless. Chose where you want to stand. Creating or consuming
Im also gonna profit from this build that generational wealth
The world is anarchy, what alternative do we have? Scrap the hell out of these techs? Advancement will always be made and will always progress no matter how slow, that’s how it has been since the beginning.
Hi there.
I just graduated from university and I'm here to earn an income and not be a burden to my family. I want to be able to take better care of both myself and my family because my parents divorced and we are in a difficult situation. My mother cannot work because she had cancer surgery. I find it amusing how these tech savvy videos explain all the technical aspects and opportunities (always wanting to make more and more money) but are absolutely ignorant of how VR will affect human consciousness. We need more neuroscientists in this debate and less of these transhumanist fools who think they know what consciousness is and how it will work (the mind is not computational as Roger Penrose has pointed out and he has been researching this for decades). Does anyone know the short or long term effects of VR on cognition, memory and perception. Maybe you should start looking in to that. New tools and technologies are always welcome: but we need to understand ourselves better before thinking that some new technology is going to be the solution.
Exactly.. I’ve not really hearing anyone talk about the health consequences
Seems like we're moving further and further away from nature. One would say being guided away from it. Shame, nothing more enjoyable and peaceful than nature.
Yeah we're like driving from our human nature and becoming more and more apart from eachother
finally someone with common sense. After watching this video ruclips.net/video/NvJ2uYN8qtg/видео.html honestly im very scared of the consequences of such tech
@@zeckchi0148 Why do you talk like everyone is not just sat inside depressed as shit anyway? At least this is an escape. Ever thought that maybe the metaverse will be just an imaginary reality companies will give to consumers so they won’t notice them ruling the actual reality? Makes a lot of sense when you think about it
No, it makes no sense. Everything you said here was said about the internet in the 90's

The name of the metaverse is depressingly ironic. A mega corporation creating a virtual platform that will attempt to replace physical contact all together. It’s so close to the book it’s named after. We don’t live in a dystopia yet, but without any action we may soon well be. Skepticism is definitely called for here.
I honestly don't think that's the case, a reality were our life is replaced with a fake world is distant just because the human likes pleasures. Until the technology not only can replicate human pleasures but make them even better the human will always prefer the reality were the pleasures are experienced better.
@@wire1879 everyone is different and addictions come in many forms. There will be plenty of people who choose digital world over reality. It’s gone on for years. If the tech gets anywhere close to reality it’s a done deal for the younger generation
@@rikki1901 Everyone is different but all human after all. Sensual pleasures will derive the preference of realities. The reality with inferior sensual pleasures will always be considered as the inferior by the masses. This "Metaverse" will not change anything.
Then take action
Not mega corporations . It Will be decentralised on blockchain.
Amazing how almost everyone seems to be against this except the youtubers being paid by Facebook to say great things about the end of human interaction.

No record labels involved. Music to the ears of recording artists everywhere.
These concepts will create more decamillionaires than any other time in human history. The internet is the great equalizer. No matter what race, cred, nationality, etc anyone can make money.
Dream, little boy...money are the real currency, based on production and economy and real things. Nfts are made up and they only have value because dumb ppl put their money on them.
What is decamillionaires?? I Love it!!!! 😅😆😁
probably there will still be problems.....
so.... yeah.
@@JohnSpartan2032 Are there any big countries that still use it? Maybe China will adpot it again after they finish stockpiling gold from Africa, but that isn't now. Money can be anything so long as we agree that it has value. It's not like you can eat that gold bar, or do anything other than look at an NFT. Money is pretty stupid/unstable no matter how you look at it
@@JohnSpartan2032 "it's not backed by gold"...that's all? Do you know what inflation is? How can you compare real currency with a picture? Even crypto has value only because ppl invest real currency on it. Wake up!
"The internet is owned by individuals" and other jokes you can tell yourselves.
Well what other jokes are there ?
😂💯
I think it's really naive and optimistic to think that companies won't find a way to own what you "own", especially if they are creating the platform we will use, so as much as it would be great to think this is how nfts will give us this absolute freedom is, in my opinion, too good to be true.
Why do i feel like this video is sponsored by Facebook😂
Watch until the end!
It's as stupid as saying apple owns telecommunications
While metaverse is being explained in this video, I can't help but be reminded of this anime movie I recently watched (like just last night). The anime is called Belle and the story revolved around an app where people has virtual identities of themselves. The movie is really cool. I never thought it would be possible in real life but now here I am watching Alux talk about that same exact topic which I wasn't aware is kind of happening already. I am mindblown, to say the least.
You should watch Serial Experiment Lain. It has a similar concept but it was made on the 90s when the internet wasn't even a thing for us
This is so depressing because if left unchecked this is will be devastating for some. People hooked in living in a virtual world and further disconnecting us from physical touch and communication.
We are headed down to become an introverted species.
It’s already happening. Try groceries shopping, people are like zombies
I've messed around in VR Chat a fair bit, and the types of people that spend a lot of time in there are some of the most insufferable, hedonistic, weirdo losers that I can imagine. I have a feeling the Metaverse will only appeal to these types of people mostly, and also corporations that want their money.
if you think phones were bad, imagine this.
This is all good and very fancy, but I'm very sceptical about the Metaverse being build by Meta (Facebook), a company that has a very poor reputation with it's users privacy (like most companies); I would rather prefer that this was build by the community just like the Linux kernel and other open source projects.
Like we said in the video, the metaverse isn't build by a company. It's a combination of technologies, it's not an entity.
Saying Facebook is buiding the metaverse is like saying google maps is building cities.
You did get one thing right tho, and that's open source.
Metaverse is a concept...1 company can't build it entirely.... They're are already Microsoft Nvidia and other players....
Privacy is the least of our problems, this technology will FRY people’s dopamine receptors. They’ll become addicted to a fake reality while the wealthy make money off of their addiction. This is going to be Creators (making money) & Consumers (destroying their real lives in exchange for a dopamine hit in the Metaverse)
@@uncleh573 Agree!
@@uncleh573 yup…and much more
one main reason why metaverse will be not mass adopted thing : interface. Vast majority of people feels discomfort abd nausea after 10-15 minutes of using headset for deep biological reasons (it has roots in how our brain processes visual stimulus).
Until there will be not availabe completely different interface to virtual worlds
(something like advanced neuralink), it will be ALWAYS just for nerds and small group of enthusiast - no chance of mass adoption.
this is why we have a vaccine
It’s niche and still holds its value
People said web 2 won’t be mass adopted. And nobody believed online gaming and shopping would work. But look at us now
@@predestinedco i'm in web developement for 25 years and don't remember people saying rhis about web 2.0 ... it was naturally developed based on real specifications build by experienced people .. it was based on resesrch not based on fairytales and naratives, spreads by people without deepee understanding on underlying technology (like it is now in metaverse, people are just repeating narratives and fairytales blockchain here and there, metaverse here and there, but really with zero understanding of tech) 99% of it is just bullshiting ...

I miss you saying “the place where future billionaires come to get inspired”…
I think they got mocked relentlessly for that. Especially considering the incredibly small percentage of people who become billionaires.
And another great video thank you guys so much for your time and a hard effort
Thank you for the information!
Its all fun and games until the constant exposure to an isolated lifestyle makes human interaction awkward and scary. Then you'll have people who won't reproduce, will avoid to help others because they build a wall of insecurities, and society will be divided to the point where everyone lives in their own little world never to learn from conflicting realities that are meant to teach us. Everything will be "perfect" but in a way where nothing matters. Only few people today see it let alone when this becomes a thing. The matrix is a fantasy at this point compared to the unimaginable hell we are about to dive into, don't get me wrong though I'm not saying that this won't FEEL like it's an amazing experience because 1000% it will but that's part of the problem. It will be so amazing that it will take everyone's life away entirely by free will. People will gladly choose to never see daylight again in exchange for this.
Im pretty sure the planet needs exactly this. If people stop reproducing it would do only good for the planet. While all other get sucked into this thing I’ll be the one who is able to have a lot of children while the others who are weak finally stop spreading their weak genes around without thinking of what they are doing. It’s just positive for me since I’m not gonna use this crap anyways and if it gets bad enough I’ll just live in a dorrest with a high chance of dying because damn humanity has been going into this since we started making social media a few years ago. People also won’t destroy this world so there’s more beautiful mountains and rivers for me too look at while others hopefully live their pathetic lives in a drugged world. This all sounds narcissistic and it is but at this point idc anymore. Y’all are the reason. There wouldn’t be crypto or social media if people simply refused to use it but some people just can’t stop being stupid so let them fall on their faces and live a pathetic life in a fake world that is a drug. Also i don’t get the appeal to it. I mean yes aside from a few things I could just learn how to lucid dream and do the exact same things the metaverse has to offer while being productive over the day. But since many businesses will move over into the metaverse there’s just one way in the future for me or my children and that is to just leave society as a whole and live in a forest since this been happening for years now and mark suckerberg said it himself. He said something along the lines of ”wow I make so much money of stealing these idiots information“ when he created Facebook. Can’t really be angry at him since he’s right, they are idiots
The beginning of the end. I like your pessimism.
@@SuperTsogo alternatively though I do also feel like a minority will separate themselves from this system and will go off to start their own thing but I feel like these people will be viewed as some kind of terrorists considering they wouldn't want what is happening and might make it their mission to stop it, which of course people who will love their life in these computers will feel threatened by this. Maybe the best thing to do is to just separate yourself from them and make sure that your society doesn't end up the same way by holding certain values of life.
@@GodfreyFirstEldenLord the appeal to it is pretty much coming from the idea that everyone now a days thinks they need to escape life. Society has successfully made life seem like the worst possible thing and on top of that people have no faith in anything, they believe there is nothing more to life than a 9-5 job and like to claim the title of being realistic but ironically this is a fake reality. They jump into these simulations because to them the idea of lucid dreaming or abstraction of the mind in the real world sounds like mumbo jumbo, the only way they see they can get what they want is in these virtual worlds where they can do everything through their minimal effort of thinking things into existence.
Suddenly I feel that Nuking entire civilization was a better idea, atleast Hitler wouldn't have built some bullshit like this he would have honestly cared for his people and loved them fully thought his heart and not made profit out of them
While I’m for making money this whole metaverse disturbs me because I honestly believe humanity will be changed for the worse. Here’s to hoping it just becomes like a game and doesn’t become out everyday life
From this video what I understood, is that it's gonna create another massive economic bubble.
Another Awesome video Thanks Much Love ❤❤❤

Ofcourse I do feel that. There is no free lunch.. right?
You're making it sounds a little too rose tinted. I most certainly believe that companies will do anything they can to make as much money out of this as is humanly possible.
And that's coming from someone who's excited and looking forward to the future of the Metaverse. Just as with the internet, meta is going to come with its own set of positives and negatives and I think it's good to already learn as much as we can about it now.
It's so obvious it's just another way to sack money out of people. Reminds me of the gambling industry, based on addiction without values
Absolutely. The rich getting richer the poor getting more poor. If the average joe could’ve got in at the beginning and took ownership I’d agree more with the video but already corporations are buying up everything and selling the people crumbs
@@Szaboo92 it's not supposed to be and if people respect the decentralized approach and realize that there is more than Meta or Microsofts spaces in the Metaverse, then that can be prevented but it will take everyday people exercising their autonomy and educating themselves.

Finally someone who's excited about this . Whether you like Mark or not Vr is the future it could only be delayed not avoided . I don't get why people are being so pessimistic about this . This tech is not much different from computer and internet back in it's early days and people were saying that who'd employee humans if they could do their job but instead our global economy thrived like never before
Lol.
Technology should slow down to make sure it is secure without invading personal privacy. Fast and NFT isn't so valuable when it can get stolen:, you can get into your home quickly if you leave the front door unlocked and open too but you would never do that. Example - apps and everything else now but big problem with hackers and online security costing $$$ for individuals, corporations and governments. Should have put real security in place before releasing to public. Do cars release new models and catch up with seatbelts and air bags after the fact?

Then, one day, you'll be shopping on-line and see your shoes for sale. You'll send an email to Nike "hey, i designed those shoes, there mine". Nike will respond "read your block chain contract, completely".
You basically got paid to promote their product that you designed for them, but you didn't read the fine print.
You were fed a digital source of construct information that was patented by Nike.
Its like walking thru a grocery store and buying all the ingredients for a vegetable soup and being stupid enough or naive enough to put it in a can of Campbells soup and think you're going to get paid for it. Now, if you had created and patented your own soup label, and put your soup in your can, you would have been paid.
The Metaverse will operate under the same laws of commerce and you are either smart at business or your not. The Kardashians will dominate the Metaverse and not Kim or Kanye, but their kids.
thank you for this video!
we are already building the metaverse. you can actually own a part of the blockchain now. not the internet, atleast for now, you can only own part of games or anything with a smart contract. tbh if you went in now youll still be pretty early its still in alpha stage at best i think it has less than 10m user not sure tbh but were getting there. anyways welcome to the metaverse
With this hole new thing comes a great question: what will be the ‘reality’ in the future? What I mean is, we will have companies like Nike selling virtual shoes or real estate selling virtual homes and we will “live” in the meta verse in our fancy house with big pool. But when we leave the meta verse we will come back to our messy apartment. Does this mean that I am a rich person because in the meta verse I live in a big house or I am a broke because in real verse I got no fancy house? Can I just ‘live’ in the meta verse or will be just a sims-like simulation, can that one be called life? Strange times ahead but if properly learned and studied I think amazing things can be done too
If ur Rich inside metaverse u Will also be Rich in real life.
For example. If u own some building in metaverse u can rent it inside metaverse and earn money.
They’re bleeding us dry
The currency of the metaverse would almost assuredly be some blockchain that would have tangible value outside of the metaverse. If you can download a fancy house in the metaverse for free, then that house has no monetary value, and doesn't contribute anything to your overall wealth. Something that's valuable in one world doesn't automatically make it valuable in another.
500 years ago education was limited to the rich. If I have an education today does that automatically make me rich (in a first world country)?
@@levidavidmurray u can literally already do that. Renting property in NFT metaverse games and earn real money for that. I mean u earn that game coin and u can sell it for $.
@@nikolagregic7709 exactly!!! I see noting but the potential for regular people to make a lot of money.
great video and explanation
Great explanations
Thank God I started learning about this stuff during the pandemic! I actually own some of The Sandbox Which is that picture you showed when talking about land. Trust me guys just like the internet this stuff is NOT boring. So you might as well learn about it! 😁
congrats !
Great! Now someone needs to create community based off physical reality outside the metaverse and bank off it.
great video !
This video did a great job explaining it.
Considering how far we have come in 30 years, imagine where we will be in another 30.
It would be nice if it were true. The thing is that it's the big corporations that decide on the form of the metaverse we will have, and so we won't have the good metaverse but the convenient one instead. Because that will allow corporations to make money and gather information that allows to make even more money on us.
Just because the concept and key technologies to make something great exists doesn't mean that it will be made and even if, then it won't become popular because big companies will overshadow it.
Just like good video streaming platforms for example (some are blockchain based like LBRY) - Who wants to use unpopular platform that lack content, community and big dev team?
Video well done!
Capitalizing on the MetaVerse and the Blockchain BIG TIME and using this information video as an information tool.
“Asking what the Metaverse is now is like asking what the internet was in the 90’s”
If we already spend more time in from of screens than in the "real world" imagine how humanity will live when we get able to spend time "inside" of the screen.
Will be like The Matrix and Tron legacy
At the end of the day, the world is changing in a huge way. However, I struggle to comprehend the logic in buying “virtual land” or “art”in a video game. Unless we can physically enter this world, we still need physical clothes, food, exercise ect. It will definitely be revolutionary for ownership of digital entertainment though
Ahh you must have never heard of this thing called... Virtual reality.
Or even augmented reality.
We will enter it. Both will consume the entire world.
In AR... nfts will be just as important as they are in VR
That is true however, currently there is no way of predicting what will actually be valuable and what will become worthless in this “virtual future”. Buying productive assets is a far safer use of capital.
Sean I’m with you, however it doesn’t make sense logically as it’s still super early, but believe that it’s on its way and the generation below the age of 15 are going to be living in the virtual world more than the real world…. Over time this will be a significant percentage of society (30-40 years time) perhaps sooner
Hi there.
I just graduated from university and I'm here to earn an income and not be a burden to my family. I want to be able to take better care of both myself and my family because my parents divorced and we are in a difficult situation. My mother cannot work because she had cancer surgery. I make these comments to make my voice heard as much as possible.
Even if 2-3 people out of this many people support me and join our EAL family, it is enough for me to find courage, thank you in advance...
@@masi4579 Lets say Elon Musk/Tesla holds a Virtual conference in the Metaverse. 25 Miliion people attend. Outside of that Auditorium you buy a small patch of Digital Land where you place a Billboard and rent it to real world companies to advertise, real world products..
This was the best explanation!
Excellent video. Thank you 👏
Thank you for finally breaking this down for me to understand! I’m in!
As a programmer, I am already drafting my own ideas to contribute to the Metaverse. Funny thing, anyone who knows about machine learning knew this day would come. Ready Player One has always been the initiative. I have my own predictions of what it will amount to be, and as a creator, I must say, this is the next big gold mine. If you know what you are doing, you will hit big. And leave a huge dent that’s unfixable. Even with programming getting automated, you have to think beyond that, or you are out!
Serial experiments lain is much closer
@@mariomeza3514 always the party pooper, creativity is not something that can be automated. Neither is wisdom and meaning. Machines lack CONCIOUSness. We don’t even understand meaning, but we feel it. Creativity comes from the novelty of chaos, like inspiration, revelations and even dreams, machines cannot out of thin air do that, they can randomize, but they cannot have a eureka moment. There is a certain form of understanding they cannot possess. Let alone us, still questioning the human consciousness, and consciousness itself being a Sui Generis, that which is in its own category that even trying to explore it, requires metaphysics. Not only is that impossible, it will never happen.
@@thehierophant1314 AI is creating music, AI is creating art pieces what are you talking about? When AI is at its fullest we will no longer have any jobs and we will barely do anything.
@@FowlorTheRooster1990 yeah, there is a reason people by hand crafted materials. Bespoke suit. If you read what I wrote, you would understand what I am talking about. AI does not have flow. It does not have the challenge that makes something beautifully flawed. Michelangelo smote the statue of Moses, an AI can never do that, the perfection is in the imperfection.
@@thehierophant1314 spoken like a true artist who understands the human psych
great advise. thanks!!!!!????
Thank you for this~
I utterly understand the appeal, seriously, but like with all things, when there is saturation in the market in whatever skillset, that means that there's shortage in the other skillsets. In other words, we can't all be plumbers, carpenter's, bricklayers, electricians, chefs, kitchen porters, nurses, doctors, teachers, etc .etc...since the newer generations have little interest in the real world, and train for the metaverse world, this will mean that those professions that have not been automated, will be in high demand. Very high.
I work as a chef...and I can see the time in the future when I can charge alot for my skills when so few will have them. Even when it becomes automated, a tradional artisan like myself, will be in high demand.
Interesting thinking and you're very likely right. I just hope there will be enough people like you to satisfy the demand. Actually, at that point, these traditional skills will get more focus (because of high demand), kinda why I'm hopeful that the future isn't exactly as many "futurist" predicts... Values are a bit messed up these days, it's all about money and freakin ego
I am excited but I hope that the metaverse doesn’t make us more depressed or lazy that’s all
@Davve these are exactly my thoughts in a better elaborate way,…… I can see where this is going….it will be like a virtual world, like a video game but more life like with real relationships and real money in other forms. People may become more fake and the concept of meeting in person and enjoying small things may totally go away one day. Let’s see what happens….only time will tell.
the reality has a tendency to self-correct, so no worries
@Davve no, that's not how it works.
Depressed? Maybe. Lazy? Idk but might be a great workout lol
@@monadejaneiro I meant lazy like people doing everything from their chairs and not moving a lot.
Thank you for this video. It's really inspiring
Very valuable video.
Metaverse is going to change the world. Say someone is physically disabled. Then the virtual world is a true gift for him/her to come out of their disabilities. Not only them, but anyone who is suppressed by their financial status, gender, relegion, etc can live a whole new life in the metaverse without these barriers. So dont call it a virtual world, its a "second life" for many...
I have been wondering when artists would own their own creations to the tune of 80%. I have been thinking about this for a decade. Not being super tech-savvy (I'm average savvy), I don 't quite understand all of the mechanics of it, but will be watching VERY closely. I first heard of this last fall from - wait for it - an astrologer. She predicted that blockchain and NFTs would be the thin edge of the wedge of the next thing and that artists and creators would be able to keep money from their creations. I'm looking forward to learning more!
This is dope!
Nice info
