Beautiful build again, the millennium jade color Aoshima used looks perfect. Great choice on the Advans, I swear those wheels were made for the GT-R, they always look good on them.
R34 GTR in millenium jade paint with a set of Advan 3 spokes is probably the best combo a GTR could have. Aoshima did pretty well on this one. And thank you for watching.🙏
Another great build and video from you Jun 👍🏼 that R34 looks amazing and continues to show how nice the pre-painted kits can become once built right. Well done 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you very much Karl. The pre painted kits have continued to exceed expectations. I wish Aoshima could produce more of them because they have become my favorite lately.👍
Very nice build. The only downside with these kits is that the mold lines are not removed before painting. The same applies to the R35 pre-painted kit. Really nice choice on the wheels.
Great question! I mostly use bsi on painted surfaces since plastic cement dissolves paint. If any plastic cement spills onto the painted body then it will be a disaster. In most cases bsi will do the job but for parts that could be easily knocked off(side mirrors, rear spoiler, for example)during frequent handling, I will use plastic cement for a more secured and permanent bond. When I want something to bond fast so I don’t have to keep holding the parts I will also choose BSI which can be cured instantly with glue accelerator.👍
@@JunsMiniGarage ah ok, then is BSI gold glue safer on painted surfaces than the purple bottle? because in the past, i had a rough experience with my purple bsi glue totally deforming a paint finish lmao
I'm beginning to wonder whether due to my aversion to toxic fumes and my inability to get my airbrushing technique right, that I would be better off with pre-painted kits.
Nice build. Don’t know what you mean by ‘real men don’t read instructions’. Unless you know what you’re doing then that’s fine but otherwise real men do read the instructions properly so that they get it right, first time.

Exactly 34 minutes for a R34 build video 👍
Always a good time to see you working, Jun, it's always so precise and so calming. Great build, as always.

34 minute video
I see what you did there
hey, I just noticed that the Tamiya Enamel Thinner link from your description doesn't work anymore
Just updated the link with a new one. Thank you so much for letting me know.🙏
Did they remember to remove all the mould lines before they painted the body?
They are there still if you look hard enough with a modeler's eye, but they are not very obvious since the paint covered them up pretty well.👍
@@JunsMiniGarage nice work 👍
WAIT MY UNCLE HAS THAT MODEL
I rather not use plastic cement on clear parts since it will fog them.
where can i get water decal for Skyline R34 1/18?
Try searching on eBay or IG, there are some sellers who would do custom decals based on your needs.👍
