Thank you so much for this 30 days of Photoshop tutorials. I have been struggling for two years to get myself to use photoshop, instead of just being satisfied with what I do in Lightroom. This is great, I am enjoying it, and now I finely see there is a future for me using Photoshop, instead of just getting frustrated with it. Thank you!
i am an artist painting on canvas and watercolours, i always had difficulty in resizing my reference , this video has taught me very well, you are a good teacher, thank you very much
AI and Aaron are both selfless, helping people needs and efficiency of our work process, but Aaron gives us more explanation, description and information that we are actually looking for! Thank you for your video again🙏🏼, you never let us down😉
As much as I think I know, you guys show me how much there is still to know. Thanks Arron for giving us this January Treat. What a great way to spend these sub-zero Minnesota days hanging out with PHLEARN.
Thank you so much PHLEARN, i appreciate all that you do for us. Thanks Aaron and the team! The Crop tool is useful and that straighten tool is helpful to know! The content awareness tool is also cool. As always, thank you so much for your FREE content, I appreciate everything! Thanks for your energy, time, and dedication!
Obviously, I am late to the party, but just wanted to say thank you for this resource. Even when I see a title like today's and think "Wait, I already know how to do that," you still have something for me to learn. To say nothing of the days when I am saying, "Finally! I am going to learn how to do THIS the right way!" Thanks again!
as many have said before superb vids with lot of info/learning points ... but taught with clear unconfusing directions ... plus i like the 'outtake' intro's! ... great work 'mr.phlearn' !
Using Photoshop CS6 and there's no content-aware feature for the crop tool dunno why, but I've come up with an alternative (Using selections and content-aware scale) that works pretty well. Thanks a lot for the excellent tutorial
Thank You for this series. You have help me with many photoshop resolution to my problems Aaron I was wondering would it be better to start the image with a smart object
Would anyone know why the 2020 version of PS CC does not reveal the crop tool grid overlay options? I can select them in the drop-down menu settings but they do not visually appear over the image. Additionally, the option to select "enable crop shield" in the settings (3:46 mark) is greyed out thus not possible. How does one resolve this in the preferences sub-menus.
Enjoying the series and picking up some very valuable tips/learnings. I downloaded the image but the cloud and brush were not included. Is there another link? Thank you.
Thanks for this. Are you working on the 31-90 days yet? LOL. Or can you suggest the logical next things to watch on your website after this to continue learning
Hi Teresa! Photoshop can be overwhelming, especially for beginners. We're here to help every step of the way.☺ Send an email to support with your specific questions, and our team will do their best to guide you.
What is often needed is a small expansion and fill of the image yet maintaining the required aspect ratio to allow for extra space for printing, matting and framing. You want to keep the detail of subject yet fill the expanded edges with the nondescript background. How?
Just getting back into Photoshop after a few years away. I found that the the small "center" (circle with four "arms") tool is missing when I resize images. Using 23.2.2 and I have both 'Auto-Select' and 'Show Transform Controls' checked. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Aaron thanks a lot for this video =) really helpful. But I have a question: why crop tool doesn't work when you have a document with artboards? How to deal with that?
Thanks for the video, very helpful, having said that, I have photo shop ...but the icon are so tiny, its frustrating because I have to get very close to the monitor. I've notice the icons on your computer are nice and big (normal ). How can I fix that on my computer ? Aaron.
Click under Photoshop menu: Preferences > Interfaces. Under the Presentation Panel, select size in the UI Font Size pop up options. Quite PS and reopen and they'll be larger.
Thank you for this video - Question: How do I make an image small without distorting the image or croping it with a selection and not getting the whole image. Its a pano originally. Help . . . :o) Thanks Joseph (from Iowa)
Another great tutorial by an awesome teacher. A question: I'm using Photoshop CS6 but I don't have the content-aware crop tool. I find this very interesting though. Is there another way I could use it in CS6? Tom
This is the way I do it. I use the Marquee tool, to first select the empty space with a little bit from the background. Then shift+backspace for PC (shift+delete for Mac) to Fill, there I choose the content aware option. Though not as good as this content aware crop tool. Have you figured out something else, better?
I was trying ur croping tutorial on different image and i could not find content aware option there. Can you help me how to unlock that option or atleast an info about its limitations if it have any? I was using Adobe CS6 btw.
Unrelated to the tutorial: does the image have a couple of dirt spots from the camera lens? Or is it just me obsessed that even my camera is somehow dirty these days?
Hi I am new to photoshop and I have a image I want to crop but it doesn’t look right I imagine looks fatter and squished I would like a closer view but without distorting it help please
oh my WORD. Hitting the "Clear" button saved my day. If you don't hit the clear button, the crop tool is completely locked into a certain aspect ratio no matter what. smh
Aaron: I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying 30-days. Brilliant idea! Thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity.
I am thinking(actually praying) if he starts 30 days of video editing in photoshop.
Content aware crop was actually impressive but nothing is impressive more than your tutorial series!
Despite being a relatively proficient user of Photoshop, you always inform me of things I have never knew or discovered. THANK YOU 🙏

Hi Aaron, so much for Wacom tablet
great videos. Do you resize for printing ( if so what size do you save them at ) and do you save a second copy for the web
*if you are wondering why content aware is greyed out. make sure its no longer a *smart object*
Cheers
coool
Thanks for this. Are you working on the 31-90 days yet? LOL. Or can you suggest the logical next things to watch on your website after this to continue learning
Anyone know how to make the aspect grid lines black instead of clear / white?
Your course is so complicated and not easy for beginners.
