This guy is a really great teacher. The speed by which he goes, his organisation and reassurance and most importantly his passion about the subject. great stuff

I couldn't agree more he is absolutely amazing the small pauses between his sentences and words. How he does not use bombastic words to articulate himself , he makes learning fun and user friendly.

A real professional giving us lessons about photoshop in this day and age where everything is expensive and only for sales but this really great skilled teacher is doing opposite and letting us students to access it for free, by the way of your teaching I understood that you are a true professional. Absolutely brilliant. I have always found Photoshop rather daunting but these videos are definitely helping dispel some of the mystery. I can see myself watching episodes many times to help it sink in. Thank you for these very well produced and instructional videos.

Like i was photoshoping since 6 or 7 years to see it detailed like this is kinda good but i will give u advice i hope it helps when u understand and take ur notes try to beat on your skill make a craft and try to think in something new or take different approch i hope u will have a nice day
Watching couple of time will help you and practice as much as you can, layers can be difficult especially when you have hundred of them or more ! xD

Still loving it. I will say this, you need to download the files. I usually never d/l files when doing tutorials, but this time I wanted to go all in. It makes a huge difference. I think you actually learn it when you follow along with the file and edit as he is editing. My .02 cents worth. Great job Aaron.

This is not for the rookies. I was a rookie once and this lesson is very accurate and advanced. This would have left me lost a few years ago. Intermediate for sure.
One suggestion that you should put time stamp in the description because some people may know basics of layers but didn't know everything so he can directly jump to the topic about which he didn't know.

It's sequential learning and dependant upon what was done prior... won't work in modular form.

In love with this tutorial. I have been struggling with understanding the layering concept and I must say, this video has made me 10x's more confident. I get it now. Aaron broke everything down sooooo well. Spoke in a way I can actually understand and wasn't drowning.

Excellent, Thanks again Aaron for this series. I don't think I'll manage to get it all done in 30 days but I'm sure I can still get through it all. You have taught me more in 3 lessons than I learned from a really expensive 3 month course I did last year at a private photography institution.

This was a really good video. Not only did you show how to use layers effectively, but you showed ways to be creative with them at the same time. One of my issues with PhotoShop, and I feel I have many, is that I use it mostly to fix problems. Using it to actively improve my photos would be a big help.
Phew. Learning a lot here Phlearn. I do find the pace about right and, although I do often have a few small issues when my settings are not the same as yours (for example with font size) I think I am, at long last, beginning to see just how power Photoshop is. Thank you for your work and allowing us to access it for free. Excellent!

This is amazing , really appreciate the way he explains each steps with such knowledge , he looks so zen and funny in a way.
I am on day three and I learn so much so far, I am not very techy on PS and always thought it is complicated so I use other software which are good kinda shortcut but you do not learn anything right? So what is the pleasure of it the same with click and shoot when you buy a good camera DSLR.
From now during my confinement I will learn more before going back to work, it will serve me for my job and will be so useful.
