The way Roland still hits those high notes phoenominal this song takes me back to my high school days in Madera California, what wonderful cherished memories those were when we could live and dream through the music we heard and still hear. Songs like head over heals shout everybody wants to rule the world, amongst a whole plethora of other timeless songs. Roland, curt thank you mates for these timeless wonderful and beautiful songs, and all the cherished memories of my youth rock on my brothers and mates👍🌹♥️
Saw this show at Jones Beach Theater here in NY in June. So happy to go with my sister. Brought back my high school days in 85' when this song came out. Nothing like 15,000 AARP members all singing along with Roland! They returned to Europe but canceled a lot of that part of the tour because Curt hurt his shoulder. We in the US were the lucky ones!
Music plays an important role throughout my life. Am I grateful to You tube, I can watch & hear again my favorite bands, both male & female, wayback the mid 80's..when I'm still at college. Brings me back the memories, the sounds I want to listen to that boost me up through my entire life. Thank you so much guys.
I have warched so many of these 2022 TFF vids but was blown away by this performance in-person. "Broken" hits hard and proves how hard they worked to get this right for 90 minutes. These guys were genius artists when they were 20, still are. Every album sound you remember is still in this live show, the lighting effects are captivating and mezmorizing. Backing vocals from Lauren Evans delivers! TFF should be considered a super group, they arent on some nostalgia tour, this is mainstream. New stuff is great. Videos do it no justice, buy your tickets, thank me later..
@@robhaunui3343 carina departed the tour for unknown reasons. Lauren took her place in Florida and has been doing it since. They must have trained her as a traveling backup or it was planned all along. I checked out clips from FL, Lauren was fully prepared, wasnt a last ditch fill in.

I just saw these guys in Saratoga Springs, NY (SPAC) which is an outdoor amphitheater. Going into it, I was only mildly interested and really was not familiar with Tears For Fears except a few songs on the radio back in the 80’s. These guys totally blew me away. In particular, the strength and quality of Roland’s voice is truly remarkable. Reflecting on it after the show, I’m astonished to the point that I’m now thinking that there had to be back tracks on his vocals.
Going to see them in Va Beach soon, can't wait. Taking my wife, 25 year old son and his soon to be wife...going to be great. I'm so glad those young ones appreciate 70s and 80s music!!
I'm shocked after hearing this. Roland and Curt's voices changes a bit by aging, but is amazing they can still reach the higher (sometimes falsetto) notes. So many artists along the years drop down a half or one tone to keep singing, but the guys above not. Hail to the 70s,80s and 90s music!! Greetings from a Brazilian of Caxias do Sul City!!
