HEY kisluxbag !! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
I love that it main compartment is against your back!!
Sal, nice backpack!!! Your humor just kills me. 😂
Your assistant must be great shape to lug that bag all day. I would include a blower and lens cleaning stuff, but that is a great load out.
Important to know the weight of your bag with all included.
the bag alone weighs 7 lbs on my luggage scale, which is insane. i pack a laptop, camera, lens, travel tripod and im WAY over the weight limit already on most international flights. I'm not sure how people use this bag for travel
Also, charges for the batteries. I also bring a spot meter and extra memory cards
I always tend to overpack cards and batteries and a charger (in case luggage doesnt arrive on time) as well as cleaning kit. But i tend to overpack for the "in case i need" moments
Loooove my Peter McKinnon bag!
On my last travel I took also my holy trinity: Sigma 16-28 f2.8, Sigma 28-70 f2.8 and Panasonic 70-200 f4 + a 50mm f1.8 for low light or portrait situations and a Godox V1 with remote trigger. With that I covered everything. I would have brought my Sigma 135mm 1.8, too. But I decided to leave it at home.
Great selection! I'd have another camera body added. I just like the insurance of a second identical camera body.
All the major camera manufactures offer some of the options I am going to mention here. My wife and I travel internationally a couple times a year or more. I've moved to an Olympus OMD1-MKIII and my wife a PEN-F. Similar lens selection but we go with the waterproof designs so we can continue outdoors in foul weather. It gives us similar reach in optics but lighter weight and size. And the PEN-F is terrific compact package with a 12mm (full frame 24mm wide angle) when we want a smaller package. Flash wise we use off camera flashes quite a bit for both improved lighting and to reduce shadows when we need to. Importantly, protective filters and polarizers which can help reduce glare. Also, I love the USB-C charging/downloading port.
Love it! Dream equipment.. Does the assitant came with the camera Lens? 😅
How r u?, perfect travel! 🤞
Looking at the equal to A1 but Westcot brand. Recommendations?
I shoot Nikon D850
Nice video… i also take a trinity + 50 f1.2👍
Fyi… the infographic on the bag was the wrong model.
But also agree the PK bags are super nice and well thought out.
what was the model ?
After our last business/ pleasure trip I had to change to a rolling bag during the trip I fractured my back making a backpack not an option as my “assistant” (like yours) didn’t want to lug it around. Question however, you talked about only one camera body…what about a back up body, just in case? I’ve had to fall back to my back up body during a business trip.
Hey, on the screenshot you show the 35L one but you have the new 25L
great video - I was curious why to you chose a Profoto A1 over a Profoto A2?
no particular reason. just easier if i wanted to work with it on camera. i love the a2 as well.
I'm surprised that you're not taking any gels - magmod or other brands to place on your lens or even speedlights.
Do you bring a second camera body?
I do, a much smaller lighter body with the same lens mount.
That is NOT the P.M. 35L Backpack that you show in the video and have a call out of. It's the smaller P.M. Day Pack 25L
Do you travel with a backup camera..?
I have mine and my wife hers. 15yrs never had a body go down.
Why not travel with the A2's?
A couple of things. Make a copy of your passport that you would carry in your wallet, and another copy which you place in your luggage. In Europe, your actual passport is a highly sought item, more so than your kit, by criminals. Lock it in your room safe. If you're hitting the local streets for impromptu shooting, minimize your kit. That will make you less of a target for theft and being hustled. Just take that 28-300 and a 50mm f1.4 in a smaller back or fanny pack. Some days and places, that fast-wide will be needed to get the pix you want. oh, and enjoy the place!
And your COVID vaccination records
nothing for cleaning???
