- The Hare Krishna Temple located at 305 Schermerhorn Street provides delicious vegetarian meals not only to its members, but to the Brooklyn community as a whole! Everyone from all walks in life stop by the temple to enjoy homemade food each afternoon, and have the option to relax, chant, or meditate along with the devotees. Some of the visitors who have joined in the Hare Krishna practices say that they felt a sense of calmness and peace after participating, and the temple encourages seeing the meal as a sacrament.

I've seen this video before, but this time I watched it twice through. I first had prasadam in 1984 and I was blown away. This was at the main temple in Los Angeles. I love this food. Now I'm in Miami and the local temple has been closed since the start of the pandemic and hasn't reopened. I miss the place, the music, the chanting and the delicious food on Sundays . I have so much affinity for the Krsna religion and the devotees. There's such peace in it .Hari bol .
I'm vegetarian from birth and I think that vegetarian foods are very tasty comparison to non-vegetarian foods...
I am a vegetarian too but how can compare the taste of vegetarian food with non-vegetarian taste when you have never tasted it brfore.

As much as concept of an omnipotent god is a BIG SCAM, it is an extremely successful business model for the cheats who make money by fooling crores and crores of people!
I mean, can you think of any other business model that has survived (and even thrived) for thousands of years by deluding people??? This applies to *EACH AND EVERY god-espousing religion/belief-system.*
I am from India and all my friends didn't die of deficiencies because of not eating meat. Besides they don't like the taste of meat including me. Vegetarian food is good for body and soul.

Till I was 20 I didn't know there r animal eaters on t earth. What I new was Chinese people eat rats n cockroaches.
After I started going to office I came to know about nonveg. ie live animals, chicken, n fish r cut ,cooked, n eat.
We Vegitarians since generation have not touched nonveg n our future generations too will not eat nonveg. There's no concept of eating nonveg in our life. like cut living, live creatures.
Amidst all the documentaries about hate and violence in the world, it is so heartwarming to watch people talk about spreading love through food and treating humans with dignity no matter where they are from. We need more people like this in the world.
God exists in everything be it our thoughts actions or food. It is beautifully crafted by nature to fulfill the desires of God by men n women.Both r wonderful if live with love.Krishna's way of life is beyond my words to explain.
